See the BIOS of the motherboard and it still works in the BACK. I know SP3 is a collection of updates, but I'm not sure that is my problem. I suspect it's one of the more recent cause I have Windows automatic updates is turned on. Thank you.

• "Confirm open after download" is no longer available in Windows 7. Now what?

  I use a piece of software to display in a glass case.  I use it to view Powerpoint files, but when files are run, instead of running like a slide show, I get a window that says "Do you want to open or save this file?" and a check box "always ask before opening this type of file.

  To resolve this problem in xp, you'll sign > Folder Options > File Types > Powerpoint > show and uncheck the box that says "Confirm open after download".  At startup, the Powerpoint file then begins as a slideshow.

  In Windows 7, the folder options method is not available.  So, how can I get the same result.  There is no option in Powerpoint to do this.  I think that a registry hack is required.

  Delete the following folders in the preferences:

  (b) ~/Library/Caches/Acrobat/

  (c) ~/Library/Caches/Acrobat/

  (d) ~/Library/Preferences/Acrobat Distiller Prefs

  (e) ~/Library/Preferences/Adobe/

  Here ~ represents your home directory. Empty your trash, restart the computer and then start the Acrobat software.

  Hello, I got a virus a few months ago that was hidden in a fake antivirus which I managed to remove but disabled all security. I bought Norton 2011 witch managed to remove it. Never, since the Security Center cannot start and I was recently able to restore Windows Defender. However I still cannot start the Security Center. First of all, it will not display in any editors or the registry due to the ActiveX is not able to view.
