Make a movie on Windows DVD maker, the only problem is my music, which I have added to the menu does not work. He played during the preview. But not after the film was burned. (The music file was an MP3 of a complete song in my Windows Media Player file) Also, is there a way to make music to play more of the song that I added, as he only play on a second clip 10. Can I do play together somg as long as I keep the menu screen?)

Windows DVD Maker - a section will not play music
I used Windows DVD Maker to create a photo slideshow. I downloaded music and for some reason there is a break in the music after the second song. In the end, the last sang the fade in unfinished is not because there are not enough audio files. It works wonderfully for previews, until I checked the box to get the match audio and video to the top of the calendar. I tried to delete all the audio files and download them once again, but this is the same area without noise. I also "unchecked" to have the photos and audio to the height.
Hi Jill,
1. which is the file format of the audio file? What is .mp3?
2. it worked before?
There could be some compatibility issues when playing .mp3 files in Windows DVD Maker.
You try to add another file in DVD Maker and check if it works.
Method 1: Check if the audio and video filters are causing this issue.
Method 2:
Try to change Windows DVD Maker DVD-Video settings and check.

Satellite A300-1 M 1 - skates from CD/DVD, makes noise but does not read the CD
I own a laptop Satellite A300 - 1 M 1
He reads some DVD, windows media player or VLC, but fails to read CDs and many DVDs
The drive is recognized in Windows Vista. I updated the drives and rebooted. Then removed from devide Manager and rebooted. The removal of the UpperFilters and LowerFilters registry and restarted it again.
The problem is it exactly even. I can read a DVD (DVD movie) but not a CD (with data). I can read both disks on a different laptop.
When I insert the DVD, the disc spins and in few seconds it appears in windows Explorer and can be played with Windows Media Player or VLC, for example. When I insert a CD with the data, CD towers, there is slippage noises, at different speeds. The mouse cursor changes briefly shhowing a disc below it, the orange light flashes, but after some 40 seconds or so only a message appears "Please insert a readable disc. Needless to say, I tried several different CD. Only DVD movie I managed to read on the player. The drive is listed on the device as a Manager:
HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GSA - T50NThe CMN Satellite A300 - 1 M 1 are:
Intel CoreDuo P8400 2.26 GHz
4 GB OF RAM
I'm using Windows Vista (as it was installed on this laptop)What can I do to fix this?
Hello
I think that there is not much to buddy
I think that it s a CD/DVD drive problem
There might be something wrong with the lens of laser disk or disks are not totally compatibleYou could try burning the disks on another computer and could attempt to read copied discs
Otherwise you will need a new CD/DVD drive

This problem may occur if the .wav file that is associated with the Windows exit program play for more than 10 seconds.
To resolve this problem, configure the Windows exit program to use a shorter .wav file - play. To do this, follow these steps:
1. click on Start, type sound in the Search box and then click on its list programs .
If you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, type the password, or click continue.
2. click on the tab sounds and then click Exit Windows in the programs list.
3. click on Browse, locate a .wav file that plays for less than 10 seconds, and then clickOpen.
Note By default, the following file is used to program Windows output:
%windir%\media\Windows Shutdown.wav
4. click on applyand then click OK.

. MOV in Windows Movie Maker Live files does not work
I just installed WMML since I thought that it would support the .mov files without having to convert them. I can see the video in the Windows Live photo/video gallery, but not in WMML when I open it up to edit video. The screen is all black with no video or sound. I have Vista. We just got a new digital camera to improve our videos, but are sad that we cannot use this software because we love him. Help, please!
What is the brand and model of the new camera?
Many systems have problems with the MOV files... especially
the HD version. Convert to WMV format can be
worth a try. There are many converters available on the net... some
free... some detail. The following freeware converter is just one example:
(FWIW... it's always a good idea to create a system)
Restore point before installing software or updates)Format Factory (freeware)
http://www.videohelp.com/tools/Format_Factory
(the 'direct link' is faster download)
(the file you want to download is: > FFSetup280.zip<>
(FWIW... installation..., you can uncheck
('all' boxes on the final screens)
(Windows XP / Vista / 7)First, you will need to decompress the file or just open the
Drag FFSetup280.exe out of the folder
and drop it on your desktop. To install left click.Next, after the download and installation of Format
Factory... you can open the program and
left click on the toolbar, the "Option" button and
"Select an output folder to" / apply / OK.
(this is where you find your files after they)
are converted)Drag and drop your video clips on the main screen...
Select "all to WMV" / OK...
Click on... Beginning... in the toolbar...
That should do it...
Good luck...

I contacted the support, the tech told me I have a virus, I did multiple scans with different products anti antivirus and came up with nothing. He told me to do a restore to recover the operating system to factory settings. I did, and as always, the first thing I do is install an av program and update all definitions and do a full scan.
Nothing has changed, it is always the same.
Any ideas?
With the Dell printer, I always had to replace the battery because it was bad.

Came across this problem trying to put an AVI in powerpoint presentation for the school. I don't know how this happened or how to fix the error. The error indicates that windows media player is not the right codec to play the video. However, when I sent it myself and opend it upwards on another computer, which doesn't have powerpoint, it plays very well.
I did some research as to what a codec for windows media player, that's what code and decodes the video compression. However, when I tried to download the appropriate codec file, there is nothing. Not even useful workaround solutions.
In addition, went and downloaded quicktime and it could not read the video either.
Any help or ideas would be greatly apreciated. Thank you!
Hi DaisyReaper,
Are you able to play .avi files?
You can use your favorite search engine to download and install the latest codec for Windows Media Player. Subsequently, check if you are able to read .avi files.
Note: Using third-party software, including hardware drivers can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from starting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the use of third-party software can be solved. Software using third party is at your own risk.

Downloaded waiting music does not play
I am trying to download a new audio file for music on hold, but regularly I get no audio after the change is made. Initially when I created this he played very well, and then after a few test calls if it is stopped and I get no sound at all.
The audio file is 4 minutes and 3 seconds, then I tried to cut it in half for 2 minutes, but I get the same problem. Audio only supposed to be a certain length? I can't understand why it worked at first and now doesn't seem to work at all.
The two files have been converted to the following audio settings:
Mono, 8000Hz, .wav, U - LawWe lack CUCM 9.1.2.10000 - 28
Is - that you download the file on all of your servers?

My operating system is Windows Vista. I used Movie Maker to make of my recordings of camcorder home movies, but when I try to burn a DVD with Windows DVD Maker, the program closed its doors with an error message - Data Execution Prevention (DEP) has apparently stopped the program for preventing possible dangers for my computer, maybe because he was "bad memory usage". I tried to turn off DEP for this program, but it won't let me. How to work around this problem?
NB I have not used the DVD maker for about 20 months, but it worked fine then!
Hello
EricLaw IEInternals - a peek at Internet Explorer from inside. -Understanding DEP/NX
http://blogs.msdn.com/ieinternals/archive/2009/10/10/understanding-data-execution-prevention-crashes-in-IE8.aspxThe problem might actually be an add-on or another program to the origin of the problem and you should check that
1st.What antivirus/antispyware/security products do you have on the machine? Be one you have NEVER on it
machines, including those that you have uninstalled (they leave leftovers behind which can cause strange problems).Start - all programs - Accessores - system tools - IE with no Addons - does this work better?
IE - Tools - Internet Options - Advanced - tab click on restore, and then click Reset - apply / OK
IE - Tools - Internet Options - Security - reset all Zones by default level - apply / OK
not better?
Close IE and try again IE or IE with no Addons
IE - tools - manage Addons (for sure disable SSV2 if it is there, it is no longer necessary but Java always install
"(and it causes problems - you never update Java to go back in and turn it off again)." Search for other possible problems.Windows Defender - tools - software explore - look for problems with programs that do not look right. Permit
are usually OK and "unauthorized" are not always bad. If in doubt about a program to ask about it here.Could be that a BHO - BHOremover - free - standalone program, needs no installation, download and run - not all
are bad, but some can cause your question. (Toolbars are BHO)
http://securityxploded.com/bhoremover.phpStartup programs
http://www.Vistax64.com/tutorials/79612-startup-programs-enable-disable.htmlAlso get Malwarebytes - free - use as scanner only. If you ever suspect malware, and it would be
unusual with Prevx market except for an occasional cookie of low level (not a big deal), update it, then
run as a scanner.I would add prevx so.
Prevx - Home - small, fast, exceptional CLOUD free protection, working with other security programs. It comes
a scan only, VERY EFFICIENT, if it finds something to come back here or use Google to see how to remove.

If nothing else works you can try this however I would use as a last resort.
IE - Tools - Internet Options - Advanced Options - Security Section - clear the check box enable memory Protection to mitigate
Online - APPLY - OK attacks close and restart IEI hope this helps.
