    Hello

I'm sorry, but we don't know how they "cleaned".

But I suggest that you go to the website of your computer manufacturer > drivers download Section > then key in your computer model number > find your operating system > find two graphics / video or from the Chipset drivers and download and install.

If the problem persists after that, I would take it back to them to fix it properly.

  • Windows Experience Index problem: could not measure the performance of video playback

My pc is not yet rated. When I click on rate appears on this computer, a msg error saying that Windows Experience Index for your system could not be calculated, could not measure the PERFORMANCE of VIDEO PLAYBACK. What should I do. Help, please

    Hello

Here are a few things to check before launching performance index Windows (WEI).

    • Quit all running programs, and restart the computer before running the assessment (WEI).
    • Check with the manufacturer of the computer or the motherboard manufacturer for BIOS updates.
    • Make sure you have the latest Windows 7 compatible drivers for the graphics device installed (video card).
    • If you have any third-party media players installed, uninstall them until the end of the evaluation of the WEI.
    • If you have installed any third-party Media Codecs, try to uninstall them until the end of the evaluation of the WEI.

Open Windows Explorer and navigate to the folder C:\WINDOWS\Performance\WinSAT .

You should see the following 8 videos.

    2 files with .mp4 extension.

3 files with the .mpg file extension.

3 files with .wmv file extension.

Double-click each of these files. They should open and play in Windows Media Player. These are the files that WEI runs video performance.

One thing to remember is that the WEI score is only an indicator of the ability of the main components of hardware on the computer. It has no effect on the performance of the system.

    Tell us what you find.

    Concerning

Can someone help me fix this error?

    I am trying to run Windows Experience Index, but it never ends. He gets to the assessment of HDD and fails with the following error;

Now, I have 3 hard drives in my machine, a 75 GB Intel SSD, which is the main OS drive, a Seagate 1 to SSHD and a 1 to Samsung HDD. The two 1 TB drives are in a RAID 0 format configuration.

What I don't understand is why Windows is trying to assess the two 1 TB disks, when they are not the main or the discs even if she says she evaluates the primary

  • Windows experience index crashes to test CPU

Hello, I tried several times to make the assessment, but when it hits the CPU fan goes crazy and then it just closes. Also I can not play video games. A similar thing happening there also. I think that my CPU may be dying, but I'm not too sure.

    Hello

Thanks for posting your query on Microsoft Community forum.

I would be grateful if you can provide us with the following information to help us better understand the issue.

    1. Are getting you error message/code when WEI crashes?
    2. Did recent changes (hardware or software) on your computer?

According to the description of the problem you WEI crashes then, I suggest you to check the Windows Experience Index log file:

'% SystemRoot%\Performance\WinSAT\winsat.log'. This can give a few pertinent details.

    Method 1:

    (a) press the Windows key + R. Copy and paste the following text:

    % systemroot%\Performance\WinSAT\DataStore.

    (b) try to remove everything except the most recent file.

    (c) restart the computer

    (d) then try the reassessment.

    Method 2:

Go to a high command prompt (run cmd.exe as administrator) and type:

    WinSAT formal.

To open cmd (command prompt), follow the steps below:

    (a) click on Start

    (b) type cmd into the search box and right click on cmd and select run as administrator.

  • System notes Windows Experience Index

I am running Windows 7 Home premium with a GEFORCE 9600 GSO video card. Windows will not evaluate my Windows experience index. When I click the "rate this computer" button nothing happens. The system is running stable and all the drivers are current, but Windows does not attempt to rate the sytem at all. No error message appears. It simply doesn't react when you click the "rate this computer".

    Look for C:\Windows\Performance\WinSAT\winsat.log errors?

Have you tried C:\Windows\Performance\WinSAT\DataStore\ of compensation?

  • Windows experience index will not refresh

I just installed 64-bit Windows 7 Professional (32 bit Home Premium) with a custom installation. I use aero, so when I went to check my Windows Experience index, I saw that it was 1.0 for both the graphics settings. I've updated my restarted graphics driver. Whenever I hit the button refresh index experience, its starts fine, but before finishing it said "Windows experience Index for your system could not be calculated." I tried the bios update, but that did not help. All my drivers are up-to-date. A way to solve this problem?

Check your winsat.log file and see if it indicates that this is the error. You can delete the .xml files in the winsat DATA and starting from an elevated command prompt, try the formal line of command "winsat" without the quotes to see if it works that way. I found that my anti virus program (Kaspersky) blocked WEI to save the results. Disabeling Kaspersky did not. You need to uninstall, run WEI, then reinstall Kaspersky.
