• Windows Explorer does not display the file or files with fix = folder

  A few days ago I noticed that I have some files seemed not be included in the records, I have worked with. After some fiddling, I find that I can see all the files in a folder if 'fix' (at the top right of the display of the files) is set to "name".   I'm having hard to the installation of a second external drive. I use Windows 7 Ultimate RC. There was a WD 1 TB drive My Book already installed - healthy and works very well. The problem occurred after installing a second WD 1 TB my book reader. I followed all the instructions, pluuging the drive to a USB hub. Windows found the disk, installed drivers and reported the new drive ready for use.

  Windows Explorer does not see the new drive. Devices and printers shows 2 external drives from WD. Disk Management shows as 2 drives, but the second disk is offline because of a 'Signature' Collision

  Each player works very well if it's the only drive plugged in. "Eject My Book" does not work because a program (or more) are to use the player in the background (Windows or Norton).

  I installed the latest firmware and I'm still having this problem. I've been emailing WD with this problem and they are running out of ideas.

  Hello, my computer is having a lot of problems, which started last night. Here are the things that are run:

  -Windows Explorer does not respond
  -Computer cannot disconnect correctly: down/restarts when I close the computer says "disconnect" for hours.
  -Cannot use the system restore and may not even start from Safe Mode command prompt
  -Safe mode does not load
  -No applications work, apart from web browsers, and AVG.
  -Cannot access the drivers, to make anything back.

  I added not all strange programs and I do not think it is malware, but I can't actually run my anti-malware program. My computer is running really hot, what he has always done and I keep it high and the fan not covered (I'm broke, can't afford a fix of the computer, or the new computer).  Please talk is profane.   I formatted my hard drive and created two partitions. Then I installed Windows XP in one of them and Vista in the other. Then only under Vista the network card works and I see all kinds of connections available. Where, in Win XP it will not display the available wireless connections.   1. in the Menu of charms, click settings-> change PC settings

  2. in the settings app, select devices on the left hand. It will give the list available on the right devices.

  3. here my device "MediaPi" has been shown in offline mode. Select it, and then I clicked on the (-) at the top to remove it.

  4. in Windows Explorer, select the computer (on the left side).

  5. from the Ribbon bar click 'Multimedia access'-> 'connect to the media server. It will take a while and should list your multimedia 'MediaPi' server in my case. Select it and click Next.

  Hi, it's hard to explain, but my music library on a hard drive high school and is the only folder with music, but, when I go to my music library, and scroll by grabbing the scroll bar, the small white box that appears always says, 'mp3, unspecified' - rather than the name of the folder.

  Back in your library, testing of up-right, choose "arrange by" and selecting a different option.  If the problem persists in other arrangements, I recommend the deletion of the library itself and recreate.  No file will be lost in that.
