Windows Explorer (file) crashes randomly without reason in windows 8

Specifications of the computer:

CPU: 2.00 GHTz DUal Core CPU (not overclocked)
Video: NVidia GT610 1 GB Galaxy
On-board sound
Hard drives: three drives of 160 GB
Explorer Windows seems to crash randomly during operations of files on internal disks or outside of any kind. All controls and system disks come out without any problems whatsoever, and I'm pretty well versed in computers and operating systems, so I'm at a loss on what could be the issue.

Hello

Please, try the command SFC/scannow in the administration command prompt and see if that helps.
Hope this helps, good luck :)

I just bought a HP with Windows 7 computer.  I was able to set up a wireless network, but every now and then, it stops just work.  I have a Belkin Wireless N Router and an Atheros AR9285 802.11b/g/n WiFi Adapter.  It's as if it will work for awhile... then just completely stop without reason.  I have check the router and it shows the computer is always connected and there always have an Internet connection, but I had neither on my laptop.

  • L750 satellite crashes randomly without any warning

It's my first post, sorry if I have something to leave out!

My laptop is about 3 years old now.
Recently, he has been crashing without any kind of warning at random times.
There is not yet any winding down of the sequence; everything stops.
The battery will not even flat, it still has left power when I reboot.

I'm pretty sure that this is not a problem with my battery like I had replaced him only months ago.

It could be a problem with my charger, except sometimes it happens when I'm running on the battery.

I'm sorry if it's not good to go, but it doesn't seem to be many clues about why this happens.
If you need more information to help, please ask!

Laptop may crash because of different reasons:
    (1) system problems
    (2) hardware problems

In case of system problems, the recovery of the laptop could solve the problem
I think that this should be done before you try to fix the notebook using other methods.

In the event that recovery does not solve your problem and if the laptop would break even, well, in this case a hardware problem would be possible.

Possible hardware problems could be: memory or the motherboard.
But in general, it could be any part and, therefore, it of always difficult to say what could be the problem more often than the laptop engineer start a hardware diagnostic procedure that would check each part after that its possible to say exactly what's wrong.

Also a high internal temperature may affect the functionality of the laptop.
This can happen when the cooling fan and the grills are clogged with dust.

I clean my notebook from time to time using a jet of compressed air. This allows to get rid of the dust. You can also use a vacuum cleaner, but should be careful don't empty too hard. This can damage the cooling fan

  • Satellite L670 freezes randomly without reason

I have exactly the same problem with Toshiba Satellite L670... for some reason it randomly freezes and can only be turned off by pressing the power button for several seconds.

It has been reset several times but always than that.
The fan starts, the mouse stops and the freezing of the screen. Very frustrating.

I had local PC repair shop look and they say that it is certainly not a software problem, but perhaps also a defect on the graphics card that can only be fixed by replacing the motherboard?

Cheaper to buy a new laptop?

Shame, as he worked when he was a great laptop!

    > It has been reset several times but always than that.
I assume that you have installed the original recovery image. Have you tested a few days without changing anything?

On this virtual path, it is not easy to say what the problem is here, but I recommend you contact the closest service provider of Toshiba, to explain the situation and ask for help. Warranty is still valid?
    > Cheaper to buy a new laptop?
Generally Yes but depends on where you want to buy.

Try to clarify this with Toshiba service initially. Let us know what they will say on the subject.

Method 2: If a Protection of resources Windows (WRP) file is missing or is damaged, Windows may not behave as expected. Auditor of file system (CFS) scan to fix all of the corrupted system files. To do this, follow the steps mentioned in the link below:

    Hello

If I understand correctly you install os 7 times, still problem happens, its just a bad sector in plateau, well shot cause want to check your hard drive a d, you need to change your hard drive to solve this problem, if it is in warranty log a ticket

  • Qosmio X 500 - 10U crashes without reason

    Purchase date: 12/2009
    CPU: i7 Q720
Memory: 8 GB: 2 x 4 GB (expand after purchase)
Hard drive: 1 TB (expand after purchase)
Graphics card: Nvidia Geforce GTS 250 M
    Operating system: Windows 8.1 company

For 6 weeks, I have the problem, my laptop crashes without reason.
It hangs only in the browser (checked with chrome, firefox and internet explorer, always the same).
It crashes on sites with content video (youtube in particular, not quickly, but if I open multiple tabs with videos) and if I opened several tabs another.
It weighs between 1-5 hours after using the browser (flash player is on the latest version).

I do a forced departure to use the laptop again.
It does not crash if I play games, convert videos, etc.
Then things that highlight the laptop more surfing on the internet!

While it crashes, I can move the mouse, but cannot open anything.
If I look in the Task Manager, I see that CPU and memory work, but the use of the hard drive is 100% and it remains at this value, all the time.

Although the drive hard ist at 100%, all the processes under it have 0%. I can't see it, if a program is the cause. The temperature of the CPU (40-60 ° C) and hard drive (35-38 ° C) is OK.

So I read about the values of SMART with two different programs:
    [HD Tune Pro | http://www.directupload.net/file/d/3563/xorgtm8z_jpg.htm] and [GSmartControl | http://www.directupload.net/file/d/3563/ce54l6jq_jpg.htm]

The values on the Calibration Retry Count, sector number reallocated, which are marked with warning and pre-defaillance if criticism which can cause a hard disk crash?

The hard drive may be the problem?
I've still warranty on this subject. Should I contact Samsung and send it?
    That would bring something?

I think about to replace the hard drive with the samsung 840 Evo SSD, but if the hard drive is not the problem, I would have spent money for nothing

    What I checked again:
    -format and re-install: same question
-check the memory with memtest86 + 6 hours: impeccable and no crashes during this time!
-checked for viruses with avast at startup (with recovery CD): impeccable and always the same question
    -replace a MEMORY: same question
-clean the old thermal grease and renew: temperatures decline a bit, but same problem

I think that the problem is caused by the hard drive, but I'm not sure.
    What do you think?

What can be the reason for my problem?
I would be grateful all the lawyer.

Maybe there are some conflicts between modules installed in browser. How about you, the security settings of the firewall or antivirus? Check if temporal deactivation could improve navigation on the internet?

If you think that the problem comes from the HARD drive, I would recommend you replace it with an SSD. I did it in my book even if the HARD drive was OK. I replaced the HARD drive with an SSD and the improvement of the performance is really great!

By the way: I now use the HARD drive as external 2.5 USB enclosure HARD disk. It's quite good for backups and other stuff.

  • Guard Windows Explorer to crash and restart on Windows 7

I use a Dell Vostro V13 laptop. Last night suddenly kept windows Explorer crashing and restarting over and over to the point where I can't do anything. I tried the system restore, but the problem is still there. I can't do anything except the exit ramp of the computer with Ctrl + alt + delete. As soon as the restart my laptop the message back and he stops and restarts over and over again.

I am only able to send this message in SafeMode where the problem occurs.
I'm not very computer literate, so would be grateful for a detailed step by step help.
(One of the reasons could be that I tried to update media player VLC, this accident occurred just after that.) I uninstalled VLC but with no avail, explore it crash)

It is clear the details of the second error problem is the DivXMFSource.dll:

If not go to the DivX program folder and right-click the DivXMFSource.dll and rename the extension .dll to .old, IE rename DivXMFSource.dll in DivXMFSource.old.

Restart the computer in Normal Mode and uninstall DivX.

    Thank you
    Daniel

    Hi Daniel,.

Remember to make changes to the computer before this problem?

Possible cause would be due to out-of-date video drivers, corrupted system files, viruses or malware, faulty RAM, infection etc..

I suggest you follow these methods and check:

    Method 1: Run the hotfix:
Windows Explorer crashes randomly in Windows 7 or in Windows Server 2008 R2
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/2638018/en-us

Method 2: Follow the suggestions in this article:
    Explorer Windows stopped working

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/2694911/en-us

Virus scan: while the Virus scan, data files that are infected must be cleaned only by removing the file completely, which means there is a risk of data loss.

Clean boot: after a repair, be sure to put the computer to a normal startup mode.

Update on site: note this upgrade on the spot takes the same amount of time to do the upgrade as to reinstall the operating system. In addition, some of your custom Windows settings may be lost through this process.

Follow the steps and let us know if this helps.  If the problem persists, please answer and we will be happy to help you.
