"Windows Explorer" stops working in Windows Photo Gallery
When I'm working with pictures in Windows Photo Gallery on my computer Vista laptop, 9 times out of 10 if I click tab to organize to try to drop his menu, a "ghost" of the tab appears just below and the system hangs. It comes up with an error message window saying something to the effect that Windows Explorer has stopped working. If I just right click on an image, a menu appears with the options similar to what I expect of the tab organize, and I can easily do what I must. But try to let fall the tab menu organize sends the computer behind closed doors, and I have to Ctrl-Alt-Del to start. This has been a problem for years, and I myself remember well I even tried reinstalling everything once without any positive result.
Research of Windows Explorer in Windows Fix - it goes nowhere; It keeps articles posting on Internet Explorer, as there is no such animal as 'Windows Explorer'.
Thanks for your suggestions on how to solve this inconvenience.
I have not seen this site before. Just use the 27 that told you how to download. Vista is the end of it of life support. They are unlikely to be updated again.

Windows Explorer stops working when loading Photos
I have read most of the messages of the community on this subject and tried without success. I am trying to copy pictures from my SD card to record pictures. It worked fine without problems in the past. Now when I do it, Explorer stops working, and a message appears, "Windows Explorer has stopped working - Windows Explorer is re-start", and the explore program stops. Doing so the bar tasks disappears and then reappears as if the PC starts. I would be grateful to know if someone had a similar problem and found a solution?
Thank you for the time you put into your useful suggestion. I finally found the problem with the help of Microsoft.
I had to uninstall MyWinLocker.

Equium A210 - Windows Explorer stops working
I have a laptop Equium A210. Why does windows Explorer stop working and restart all the time?
> Why windows Explorer does not work and restart all the time
Who knows? :|Maybe you have messed your OS and now OS doesn't function properly.
Have you tried to restore the operating system from the recovery CD?If this isn't the case, then do it. The whole HARD drive will be formatted and the recovery CD to install the image of Toshiba which contains the OS, driver, utility and software tools extra.
This should help.

Windows Explorer stops working when you view folders disk hard ext with videos
Please help with this question that I reinstalled vista windows 3 times so far and the problem persists.
When I view the files in certain folders of video vignettes of medium or large size, Explorer stops working and restarts. I thought that the problem came from K-Lite Codec pack, but there seems to be a problem with windows itself that I reinstalled Vista 3 times so far and the problem persists. I tried as much as I can't any other questions on this, but am nowhere, and with limited knowledge of computer maintenance, I'm at a loss and need help.Change the screen resolution:

Windows Explorer stops working whenever I have connect a USB flash drive and try to access
Hello. I use Windows Vista.
I had a particular problem. Whenever I have plug in a USB key and try and access it, I get a pop saying "Windows Explorer has stopped working." the file is closed. If I wait a long time (i.e. 10 seconds), I might be able to get into the drive without any problems, but even when there is no guarantee. The problem persists in each USB slot I use. In addition, it is not that the computer is not able to detect it. It can detect and identify that it is a USB flash drive. It's just that whenever I try to access (or the folders inside the flash player), windows Explorer stops working and restarts.
Does anyone have this problem before? And any help is appreciated. Thank you.
The mistake made reference the MSVCR80.dll, which is a Microsoft file, but it may be another third party file, causing the problem.
DivX is installed?

printer does not work in the windows photo gallery only
My printer works fine for everything except when I try to print something in the windows photo gallery, then it says printer is off line? any suggestions out there
Thank youindoorairpro,
Thanks for posting on the Microsoft Answers forum. What kind of printer do you have and which version of Vista? The printer will really offline - the light on the printer turns off - or think Vista is it offline? Do you simply what to start or if this printer has never worked with Photo Gallery?
Try uninstalling and reinstalling the driver and software of the printer. Make sure that everything is completely uninstalled, restart the system, and then set the printer upward according to the recommendations of the manufacturer (sometimes you have to connect the printer to the computer at a certain time during the installation process).
If this does not work, try to reinstall the photo gallery once the printer is successfully installed.
Let us know how it works for you and if you need further assistance.
Thank youGloria

Found a box that prevents the bios to booting from anything other than the hard drive in the BIOS, under Security. Stupid because it still allows you to change the order of boot without any error message.
Once I changed I could boot from the cd and fix corrupted files.
