Windows installation interrupted as Equium A300D stops itself

Hi all

I've had my Toshiba Equium A300D for 2 years now. Meanwhile, it works normally, sometimes stops himself maye because it was too hot.

Recently, he tried to install updates to Windows Update, but never successful. I left the computer to update all night and there was 2 of 12 updates... all the time so I always had to shut down the computer by pressing the power button.

I was unable to change the setting to update Windows automatically, because every time I tried to do it froze. Most of the other commands became even viewing photos that do not meet.

It was until my computer could not connect to a certain wireless network, while other devices may I decided to reinstall Windows completely. He was installing normally but it got too hot and the computer closes again!

I tried to install again and he was arrested again, but I got up in the final phase of the game when I turned it on again, it was always 'finihing the installation may take several minutes. lease do not interrupt or shut down the computer. Let him over several hours, but he did not move to a different stage. Before the computer shuts down, I think I arrived at the scene after that.

I tried to press F8 to start a new installation, but he's only got in this screen.

What can I do?

Please help me! Thank you very much in advance!

I am in Germany at the moment, but I live and I bought this computer from the United Kingdom.

Hey,.

You can test Windows with Toshiba Recovery disk installation, please?

The disc usually contains only drivers and software prétestées so installation shouldn't t be a problem because it s pre-tested software from Toshiba.

  • Equium A300D-13 x stucks on the installation screen

Recently, I sent my laptop (Equium A300D-13 x) back to the Toshiba to fix because it was overheating and cutting.

She came back today and when I turned it on I got the screen where I was asked if I wanted to go in safe mode or start Windows normally.
Then it goes to a screen where it says, * complete the installation may take several minutes.

Please do not interrupt or shut down the computer! *

I waited all day today and I'm still stuck on this screen.

Someone had the same problem? And if so, how can I solve this?

    Hello

I've recovered my laptop several times and the installation always goes smoothly.
But of course this installation problem could happen still and I think that you should just repeat this procedure.

If you have n t Toshiba Recovery disk then try to recover the laptop using the recovery of HARD drive option.
Just press F8 while turning on laptop.
Then choose fix my computer. Then a new window will appear and you can select the new option called Toshiba HDD.

    Check it out!

  • Need drivers Windows XP for Equium A300D - 16 c

    Hello

I recently bought the Toshiba Equium A300D - 16 c, but I wanted XP but I thought support only in Vista, but you could buy XP and reinstall.

So I reformatted the PC, installed Windows XP Pro.
But my main concern is the drivers, where can I get them?

I looked on the site of Toshiba Driver but it only shows the Vista drivers.
I have no need of all drivers just the main... can someone tell me where I can get the XP drivers for this model?

    Thank you

    Hello

I really wonder you already deleted Vista, Windows XP Home Edition installed without address information on support for Windows XP Home Edition. I also hope that you created the recovery DVDs until you have deleted Vista.

Back to your problem. Support for Windows XP Home edition for your laptop model can be a bit more problematic. I have laptop AMD too and my phone is not supported WXP. I think that there is not much difference between hardware platforms for Equium, Satellite A300D and P300D.

Check the Toshiba support site a little and try to install drivers for Satellite to satellite. Maybe you'll have success.

  • Equium A300D - 16 c - stops after 3 seconds

I have a Toshiba Equium A300D - 16 c that will not start. When you turn it on, it begins to start but within 3 seconds stops before it happens even to any type of screen. It automatically tries to restart, then repeat the same off cycle, automatic auto on time and again.

When you put your ear to the bottom of the laptop, you can hear the starter system, you get two very quiet beeps before it turns off. Anyone know what could be the cause or if there is a fix or should I just accept that my laptop a little less than two years dead and given up the ghost?

Thanks in advance for any comments.

    > When you turn it on, it begins to start but within 3 seconds stops before it happens even to any type of screen

Theoretically, it can be overheated if obstructed by dust cooling system cannot blow hot air out of the machine. Try to clean the cooling system:

If you cleaned but still no start, it's a malfunction of the equipment:

1 motherboard (South of the bridge, controller of power circuit)
    2 Cpu

You can also try to replace the memory modules

    I am running Windows 7 (SP1) 64-bit operating systems.

Started getting an error message of connection manager HP "HP Connection Manager Service has stopped responding.  Error code 8008005.

    HP Connection Manager v4.1.23.1 running.
When I try to install a new version of v4.4.10.1 (SP58930) HP connection manager, I get an error of Windows Installer 1719.  Tried different solutions recommended for this, but nothing has worked.

I see in the forum after this uninstall of the current version and then install the new version of the HP connection manager can solve my original problem.

Before uninstalling the currenet HP Connection Manager version, I wanted to be sure that I will be able to install the new version without encountering Error 1719.  I don't want to be in an even worse situation of not being able to the HP Connection Manager after you uninstall it.

Can I get confirmation from HP that I will be able to successfully install a new version after uninstalling the current version?

What do you suggest I try next?

The fact that HP Connection Manager is no longer installed, how this will affect my computer?

The fact that it is no longer installed will have no effect on the functioning of your laptop and none on the operating system.

HP connection manager is simply a utility assistance for people who are making it difficult for the network through conections wifi and bluetooth connections.

If you are not in this group it is really useless.

From your description, it seems that if you can't follow instructions in the Microsoft fixit to the letter. By using the fixit is the easiest way to remove the registry entries and make changes to the registry that will allow installing and uninstalling software.  I can't recommend the methods that I use personally when I run on these issues because they involve access to the registry via regedit. The word people have never even heard of Regedit. Using Regedit can be a very bad thing for someone not experienced in the use of the registry editor.  All ch = angels did take place immediately and which included all the mistakes made during the access to the registry. Ongoing work on an operating system can fairly easily through the registry editor. Try the Microsoft fixit. It is a safe utility. Use it after an attempt to install and leave the window open until after error that does compete with the installation of the software.

  • Windows Installer has stopped working and access is denied installation KB942288-V3

original title: Windows XP SP3 installation problem

My windows installer has stopped working. I tried several 'fixed' found on the net, but nothing is done and would be grateful if someone could guide me through the solution.   Windows XP, SP3.

In 'Services', 'Windows Installer' has been designated 'disabled '.   I changed this "manual".

    msiexec /unreg works ok.
msiexec/regserver gives an error: "an event could not invoke any of the Subscriber.

I have downlaoded and ran KB942288-V3 and got ' Setup error.   Access is denied. "

I watched the permissions in the registry and seems to have all the permissions are ok, but maybe I'm looking in the wrong place?

    Hello Kaiser,

I would say that if you update your PC from SP2 to SP3 all your files will remain same.

Once you do a new Installation or a custom don't store all your network cards and other device drivers.

  • Windows Installer is trying to install Shredder, which is already installed by McAfee. How stop it?

I have Windows 7 (64), McAfee Internet Security, a desktop Acer AX3910-U4022.  Windows Installer is trying to install Shredder, which is already installed (verified by McAfee).  Windows Installer keeps trying without success to find Shredder.msi.

It is a recurring problem.  How can I stop it.  Microsoft takes back me to ACER for a fix

The application of Crusher that you are having trouble with seems to be part of the suite McAfee that you have installed.

Because McAfee tries to install the application either in full, or update the application, I'd first uninstall the application completely, then reinstall it if it's something that you would like to continue to use.

More information about McAfee Shredder is available on the website of McAfee.

The desktop of your computer, click on the tab "Start", usually located at the bottom left of the screen (on Vista, it's maybe the windows symbol instead of the word 'Start').

Now, find and click on the program title 'run '. Vista users can locate this program by typing "run" in the area of research at the bottom of the menu 'start '.

Once you open 'Run', type 'MSCONFIG' in the empty box and click 'OK '. This will open the System Configuration utility.

With the open System Configuration utility, select the tab "Services".

Scroll down the list of services (it may be advantageous to click on the 'service' column to sort the services by alphabetical order) until you find the program "Windows Installer".

Now, click on the checkbox next to the name of the Windows Installer and click on the button 'Disable' at the bottom of the Configuration of the system.

    Method 2:

You can also try running a Scan SFC (System File Checker):
SFC/scannow is a very useful command that you can use in any version of Windows. When the SFC (System File Checker) command is used with the/scannow switch, the tool analyzes all the important files of Windows on your computer and replace if necessary.

Missing and the corruption of the operating system (like many DLLs) files are probably the main cause of the major problems of Windows. In view of this, plus the fact that the SFC /scannnow is completely automatic and very easy to use, the tool should be usually one of your top not troubleshooting.
