Windows Installer keeps trying to install Vongo on Windows XP

When I bought my laptop a few years ago, Vongo came as one of the pre-installed services. I removed it, but when the other connection of users with their own username, windowns Installer keeps trying to install it, which is very annoying because you hav to press the button cancel several times before it stops and you can´t do something else in the meantime. How can I remove and prevent the computer to try to install it whenever someone turn it on?

Use the Windows Installer cleanUp Utility.

  • Windows Installer keeps trying to install msi.status but it will not install

Windows Installer keeps trying to install msi.status but it will not install and I think he got the other updates to the installation.  How difficult or get rid of it?

    Hello
In my view, that it is a software HP printer problem. Please, try the following:

If you have the HP software on your PC support (printers, etc.)
the disc when the pop-up window displays a location '1'. Click Browse
then open the HP disc in the CD drive. A named icon status should
appear. Click on this icon and load. This will get rid of the
    Status.msi loop.

If you do not have the original disc. Uninstall HP Photosmart all-in-One Driver software and HP update program - then only reinstall the HP Photosmart all-in-One Driver software. Do not update, just live with it. The web link for the full features of the software download is provided below.

  • Windows Installer keeps trying to install Sonic Cineplayer

I recently bought and installed roxio creator 11. I have a big problem with it. whenever I try to play a music file or a video file (AVI), it tries to install roxio cineplayer. I spoke with roxio for the last three months, seeking a solution to this problem. So far without success. They cease to reinstall the software. But that no longer works. I've tried several of their recommendations with the same result. I looked on the internet and discovered that it is a recurring problem with roxio for years past. I thought that you will want to know about this, because it affects one of your products. I uninstalled the product, files deleted and removed some of the entries in the registry.  Doesn't solve problem. I deleted all the registry entries ofr roxio, but it gave me an error when I clicked on the AVI files.  Does anyone know how to stop it from doing this?

  • Windows Update keeps trying to install K2686828 and KB2656369.

Windows Update keeps trying to install K2686828 and KB2656369.  Whenever I tells me the installation succeeds only to ask again to update.  I tried the fix - it solutions, and they have not corrected the problem.  Also, I did a virus scan and found nothing.  All my other updates were installed without problem.

This problem is related to the MSI registration information inconsistancies.  I was able to fix by using a cmd "msiexec /i {C09FB3CD-3D0C-3F2D-899A-6A1D67F2073F} ADDLOCAL = ALL/l * v % temp%\repairLog.txt.  At the end of this process, the two installed normally KB and I have now no critical updates in the meantime.  I noticed that article 917964 described a situation where IE would not work if the repairs were made the xp without removal of IE8 or IE 7 first.  My IE 8 works fine.  By 917964, "before you perform a repair of Windows XP installation, you must uninstall Windows Internet Explorer 7 or Windows Internet Explorer 8 of the Windows XP computer.". If you perform a repair of Windows XP installation, when a later version of Internet Explorer is still installed, Internet Explorer does not once the repair is complete. »

  • Windows Installer is trying to install Shredder, which is already installed by McAfee. How stop it?

I have Windows 7 (64), McAfee Internet Security, a desktop Acer AX3910-U4022.  Windows Installer is trying to install Shredder, which is already installed (verified by McAfee).  Windows Installer keeps trying without success to find Shredder.msi.

It is a recurring problem.  How can I stop it.  Microsoft takes back me to ACER for a fix

The application of Crusher that you are having trouble with seems to be part of the suite McAfee that you have installed.

Because McAfee tries to install the application either in full, or update the application, I'd first uninstall the application completely, then reinstall it if it's something that you would like to continue to use.

More information about McAfee Shredder is available on the website of McAfee.

    Hello

    1. have you made changes on the computer before this problem?

    2. do you get any error code or error message?

    3. do you have Sonic software installed on your computer?

Sonic is the CD burning and packet writing software that comes with your system. The mistake itself probably comes he uses the installer, Install Shield and his Manager update is not installed.

I suggest you to start the computer in a clean boot state, and check if the problem persists. If the issue is not persistent then try to put the computer in a clean boot state in order to determine the program that causes this problem.

Step 1: A description of the sure start in Windows XP Mode options:

Step 2: How to configure Windows XP to start in a "clean boot" State:

Note: once you have completed troubleshooting try the steps to configure Windows to use a Normal startup state.

  • MsiExec.exe * 32 keeps trying to install when I start my computer

MsiExec.exe * 32 keeps trying to install when I start my computer

    Hi id75080

Thank you for using the Microsoft Answers Forums!

When you get this error? You try to install a program? Or just come to the top when you restart?

    Try these steps and check:

Step 1: Stop and restart the Windows Installer Service.

    1. click on the Start button or press the Windows keyboard.

    2. in the search box, type Services and then click on the Services element that appears at the top.

    3. expand the Services window and then scroll down to Windows Installer.

    4. right click on the Windows Installer list item and then click on stop, right click again and then click Start.

Step 2: Unregister and re-register Windows Installer.

To do this, follow these steps:
    1. click on start and then click Run.
    2. in the Open box, type msiexec /unreg and then press ENTER.
    3. click on start and then click Run.
    4. in the Open box, type msiexec/regserver, and then press ENTER.

    Step 3: SFC Scan

The SFC utility allows administrators to perform an analysis of all protected resources to make sure they are the correct version. Whether SFC should find all incorrect versions in one of these protected resources, SFC will be replaced by the correct versions.

You can still run a sfc on the windows vista computer scan. To run a scan suite sfc as follows:

    a. Click Start, in the start search bar type cmd, right-click on the command prompt icon in the box programs and then click Run as administrator.

    b. at the command prompt type sfc/scannow , and then press ENTER.

NOTE: you must log in using the administrator account and try to install it like that. Or you can also try running the program by right clicking and select "run as Administrator". It should work.

Step 4: Utility Windows Install CleanUp:

Windows Installer CleanUp Utility may be able to help. You can use the utility to remove installation information for programs that were installed by using Windows Installer. Remember that Windows Installer CleanUp Utility does not remove the actual program from your computer. However, it will remove the installation files so that you can start the installation, upgrade, or uninstall on.
