  • Order of connection multiple Windows Live e-mail accounts

I use Windows Live mail on Windows 7 computer. I have two accounts installed. He who tries to access his mail server first is unreliable from time to time and when it cannot connect to the server I can't to the second account. Is it possible that I can do on behalf of failure are the second to try to connect instead of the first?

    Hello

Thanks for posting your query on the Microsoft Community.

You can try to change/add e-mail account names in alphabetical order, according to the account that you want to synchronize first since synchronization follows an alphabetical order of Mail accounts. You can do this by following these:

1 right click on the name of the account in the left pane.

    2. click on Properties.

    3. under email account, rename the name on the box it.

    4. click apply and then Ok.

Kindly do it with all accounts. For example: you will rename Outlook (* address email is removed from the privacy *() to A Outlook (* address email is removed from the privacy *( ) and the other using the letter B comes from to put in alphabetical order. After the name change, please restart Mail and click send/receive button to check if the accounts will be synchronized by alphabetical order.

Hope this information is useful. Let us know if you need more help, we will be happy to help you.

McAfee is a huge problem with Windows Mail.  See www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx#3 if you want to use, wait until you get the job of Winmail.

Check if you can connect webmail and that works very well and it's not a problem on the end of the server messaging or because of misspelled powers.  Then delete your account in WinMail, compact and repair the database (see www.oehelp.com/WMUtil/) and make sure that you have disabled the e-mail analysis then add your account to mail back again and see if it works.
