• Windows live essential 2011 very slow at startup

  downloaded and installed ie9 and a life point windows essetials 2011 has started to take a lot of time to load up. Did a virus scan, disk defragmented, went ahead with clean uninstall ie9 and wle, include the registry clean. I went back to ie8 and installed wle 2011 again with the same result: slow the beginning upward. Also re-installed ie9 and even issue here now, takes forever to load up. I'm about to empty both (have outlook 2007 and firefox 4 is installed and works very well).

  Had a Windows Update to check and after that 50% has been downloaded it stopped. Went away from the PC for 1 hour and always stopped. Windows Live Essential 2011 KB2434419. Another essential live windows downloaded ok but not this number KB2434419.

  I installed the latest update of Windows Live Essentials 2011 windows. Part of the way in which the process, I was asked what I wanted to download and I chose the minimum download which has been downloaded and installed. However, the main download window seemed stuck at the end of 50% and he hung up to 50% more than an hour. I tried to stop the download but that did not work.   For several months, I tried to download this updated stupid, but for some reason any, that I don't understand, Windows Live Essentials 2011 will not download to my computer that runs on Windows Vista 32-bit.  My anti-virus software is Norton and doesn't seem to block any downloads software whatsoever, unless he invites me to block first.  I tried to download it from my Windows Update, I tried to download official Microsoft Web site and I even tried a download offline on one of the links posted here, but it will not download.  If anyone can help me, I would appreciate it.

  Off-topic: can someone explain to me that, since Internet Explorer 9 download (I have since managed to get rid of and fortunately returned to IE8), why main my taskbar and windows icons disappear and not return when I leave my PC slowed down!
