  Make sure you have enough disk space on the hard drive.
  Step 2:
  Temporarily disable the Antivirus\Firewall, then check the issue. Sometimes they may be in conflict.

  Yesterday, Windows Live Essentials 2011 has been installed on my computer thanks to an automatic update from Microsoft, today I do not have access to my contacts of Trillian. I get the error "this contact is not associated to any of your current Windows Live Messenger connections online". How can I get rid of Windows Live Messenger? If this is not possible, then I want to know how to get rid of Windows Live Essentials completely.

  I am not satisfied with the presumption of Microsoft I want to use their products and for these things must be installed and replace my current settings, assuming that I don't know how I want to manage my contacts.

  SOLVED.
  I was right. The wlsetup - web.exe 1 MB file has been corrupted (or disliked my 3 pc at least). I downloaded the full stand-alone 210 mb file from this link and installed without problem. Now works.

  Live Mesh Beta is gone, I downloaded Windows Live Essentials. I got this error.

  It happens on my PC and laptop. I uninstalled both Live Mesh, but no change. I removed the other Windows Live from the PC programs. Laptop doesn't have these. Still no change.
  Both running Vista Home 32-bit.

  First of all, I downloaded windows live essentials 2011 to install the new msn messenger... then before it finished installation it gave me an error I tried to reinstall twice through wle but it wouldn't work so I left it and tried to reopen after a while... It gives an error that says: "Please install windows live programs"... I tried to uninstall it through Control Panel but nothing regarding windows live is in Add/Remove programs... Messenger would not sign... service is temporary, said not available...
