• Change of email address on Windows 8

  I tried to change my email address on Windows 8 for some time (2-3 days), and it doesn't happen!

  What I did:

  1 gone to Outlook, made a new alias, marked as the first email address

  2 removed my email accounts and added the new alias (did not work)

  3 switching account online at the local level and then switched back (settings > change pc settings > users)

  and I still have my old email marked as principal in windows!

  Surprisingly, the problem solved, when I updated Windows 8 Start menu applications!

  I guess that the problem was with the old version of Windows 8 mail application.

  The most plausible explanation for this is that you asked to Hotmail to collect messages from your Comcast mailbox. Connect to your Inbox Hotmail, pointing to the Inbox in the left column, click the gear and select get one email from another account. If your Comcast account is mentioned on the page that opens, delete it.

  To change the Apple ID go to the following location under settings, log out of each of them and then reconnect:

  iCloud, iTunes and App Store, Messages, FaceTime, and Game Center if you use it.
