Check with the e-mail provider.  You have probably not all the correct settings.  It is likely to be the outgoing port number.

  • Why windows live mail gives me the error code 80048820 0 x if I boot windows before establishing my broadband connection?

I have recently upgraded to windows 7 with a flash drive.  Windows starts now in 30 seconds - which is a lot less time that it takes my router broadband (wired connection to my PC) to start and establish an internet connection.

If I switch both on the freezer, boot windows right now, Windows Live Mail will not download my emails from Hotmail, it gives me the error message I pasted below.  It will not work until I have restart windows.
If I wait until my router is initialized and has established a connection, then on windows startup, the emails work fine.
If I have the error and then restart, then I can check my emails OK.
It seems that if windows 7 can not detect an active internet connection when it starts, it initiates this error...
    Any ideas?

I have windows 7 Home premium 64-bit.  I have little knowledge of computer.  I noticed that my computer does not seem to be updated.  With a few edits, I could get updated to work & there were 61 necessary updates.  I made them last night and this morning it changed everything on my computer.  I can't access windows live mail.  My printer is gone.  It seems that I really this damn & don't know how to fix this mess.  I can restore back or?  I don't really know what to do.  All responses should do step by step to a fool.

    Thank you

    Hello

    Step 1:

You try to perform a System Restore .

System Restore can return programs and system files from your PC to a time where everything worked, potentially prevent hours of troubleshooting of headaches. This will not affect your documents, images or other data.

    Step 2:

Now, install the updates in a clean boot State.

Clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

Note: After completing the steps in the clean boot troubleshooting, follow step 3 from the link to start the computer to a Normal startup mode.

  • Windows Live Mail gives me a msg of error 0x800ccc90. How to fix

All was well until about June 30, 2013.  Since then, I can't receive or send e-mail.  I use Windows Live Mail.  Get code error 0x800ccc90.  What should do?

When you last compact? Click on the left icon in the menu bar, then select Options, Mail, advanced and maintenance. Scheck front box compact the database each? runs. I set mine to 1, but maybe it's too much for you.

You can also check the box before empty messages from the deleted items folder when leaving.

You must delete the spam on a regular basis. If your Inbox and sent items folder get too full to create local folders and move mail it. Right-click on the account (Articles not Inbox or sent) and select new folder and name it. To move the message just right click on the message and select move to folder and select the folder you want the message to go to, and then click OK. If you hold down the CTRL key, you can select a number of messages to move or delete.

One or more of the pictures in this message could not be found...

It is a painful bug that affected some users of Windows Live Mail since the release of version 2011 in 2010. It happens because the program stops to be able to make the connection between the placeholder image in the body of the message and the attached file. It happens that some incoming messages, including those who have at some point crossed a server AOL, some which were composed in Word, some which came from an Apple computer and so on. Despite having requested and received thousands of examples, support staff have never cooked with an explanation, never forget a cure.

A search for your error message produced something like 200 discussions on this problem in forum Windows Live Mail. The only reliable solution is to click on the bottom half of the Next button and choose forward as an attachment. This will send the message exactly as you received it. It requires that the recipient can open the .eml files.

If not, right-click on each image in the incoming message and select record under to save the image on your computer. Then, when you write the forwarded message, remove each image and use the option of the single photo on the Insert tab to insert the image you saved.

  • Windows Live Mail - a problem occurred when trying to open this message

    Hello

I have a question where several emails appear in my list to the Inbox, but when trying to open them, the "this is a problem when you attempt to open this message" error.  After investigation, I noticed that the messages in question also appear in my file to delete items.  There, I can open them, so it turns out that the header of the message remains in the Inbox without the body.

After reading many forum, I ran the command "esentutl.exe d «%userprofile%\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows Live Mail\Mail.MSMessageStore»»  Subsequently, I now can't open Windows Live Mail, seeing the error "Windows Live Mail could not be started.  The application could not open the Windows Live Mail message store. Your Windows Live Mail mailbox data is currently used by another program, such as a virus scanner. Close the program or wait so he could complete its operation, then open Windows Live Mail again. I then delete the message store file so that Windows Live Mail restores a backup in order to restart the program and check my email.

  • How are updates to Windows Live Mail generated?

I downloaded Windows Live Mail shortly before I upgraded to Windows 7.  This has worked like a charm and copied on everything from Windows Mail.
Now I wonder how updates are handled.   My Windows Update is configured to do the Windows updates only.  If there is an update for Windows Live Mail, I will get it with this setting?
I don't want to change my settings, if I can avoid it because I not updated from Microsoft products, I do not use.
    Thank you.

If you are using Win7, Microsoft Update is your source of default update. As long as give me updates in the same way I receive important recommended updates is enabled, you will be offered updates for Windows Live Mail Security and others installed Windows Live applications.

  • Can't send or receive messages in Windows Live Mail

    Hello.

I recently bought an e-mail domain. The site that I bought since provided tutorials to add the Outlook and Windows Live Mail account. Unfortunately, I can't send / receive messages on either. I gave up Outlook and now focus on Windows Live.
The message remains in the Outbox, and nothing happens. I already have an account of personal mail there, which works very well. I can send and receive mail from that. The new e-mail address (which is my business account) is totally ruin. I tried to add by using IMAP and POP, without success. As I said, the message remains in the Inbox, and I get various messages indicating that the connection information is invalid. However, I can connect perfectly to the Webmail service condition when I bought the domain.
The strange thing is though, if I delete my business account on Windows Live mail, the original message, I tried to send stays in the Outbox. I then close the program, and he asks if I want to send my e-mail by default (personal). I click Yes and it sends?
I read all the tutorials and troubleshooting guides, modified and verified details my, and there has been no success. Can anyone help?
    Thanks in advance.

How embarrassing: I solved the problem. One of the symbols of my password not recognized: to change my password, it worked. Apologies and thanks for your response without worrying.

  • Windows live mail does not

I get a message at the opening of Windows LIve Mail on "Windows Live Mail database recovery" and shortly after it says that Windows Live Mail has stopped working, Windows is checking for a solution to the problem. He has not found a solution for the moment, however.

When you start the e-mail program, it shows the start of Windows Live Mail 2011 screen, then shortly after, it brings up the message of windows live mail recovery database.

I deleted the program change/remove program, rebooted the computer 2 times and was then went on the site and re-downloaded Windows Live mail, and when she was done installing, it came with the exact same mistakes.

BTW, I disabled my antivirus/Firewall (norton security) internet and spybot SD and it did not help.

  • Windows live mail sign problems

I can connect to my Microsoft account, as well as my gmail WHEN I get back from Google. But when I open Windows Live mail, via the 'Sign' in icon, I get "incorrect password" and to this effect, I can't sign.

What I don't understand, is that I always get it and can send messages.

    Help, please

... when I open Windows Live mail, via the icon "Connect", I get "incorrect password"

This means generally that nowadays you have activated the two-step verification to your Microsoft Account. If you did, you must generate a unique password app to use in silent messaging clients like Windows Live Mail which do not know how to ask and send security codes.

What I don't understand, is that I always get it and can send messages.

Signature in has nothing to do with reading, send or receive mail. He determines that the contacts and calendar to load and which OneDrive account to use to send pictures.
