Windows live mail says 'not connected' [in the internet]?

I have two ongoing problems.  Don't know if they are connected to each other.  I have Windows XP SP3.

1. in Windows Live Mail, I constantly get a message when the sync (download or download messages) saying "not connected".  Usually, I have to reboot to clear and be able to download my messages pop.  Sometimes to leave Windows Live Mail and reopening help.

2. my wireless printer loses its connection (says "no communication") and does not print my document unless I turn it on and turn it back on to reset it or unplug my wireless modem to reset...

I thought that my wireless Belkin N Series modem may be defective, but it still happens with the new D-Link DIR 615.

Everyone knows about this problem?  Would be grateful for advice on how to fix this problem.  Thank you.

I also have the same problem on browsers more 8 and I've also posted this as a question!

I got answers to solve my problem of here -can not access certain websites in Internet Explorer

http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/967897

Windows Live Solution Center

http://www.windowslivehelp.com/

But none of them solved my problem, but you see and check if it works for you.
How I used to get rid of it?
I used to remove history and restart my computer, and then most of the time it would solve my problem.
Now I regularly clean my internet traces and history using the software and it is not now.
To download these types of software research it on google! It could be that useful...

  • Windows Live Mail can't connect to the Internet

When I try to synchronize my focus groups in Windows Live Mail 2011, I get the following error message:

Windows Live Mail could not connect to the Internet, perhaps because an antivirus or firewall will not allow him. Make sure any antivirus or firewall on your computer programs to Windows Live Mail (wlmail.exe) to access the Internet.

The data that comes with this error are:

    Configuration:

    Server: nntp - forums.asp .net
    Username: njsokalski
    Protocol: NNTP
    Port: 119
    Secure (SSL): 0
    Code: 800ccc0e

This error started suddenly to come (I had not changed anything in the settings) and he worked previously (and I had not installed or even downloaded something because he worked changed). I tried to disable my antivirus & Firewall (even if I didn't think they were the problem), but it did not help. Anyone have any idea what could be the problem? Thank you.

  • Windows live mail does not connect to internet

Windows live mail does not connect to the internet, keeps telling me that I'm working in offline mode, and then does not connect when there is a link.

Try to check the setting of Internet Explorer offline.  It just open IE, press alt to display the menu bar, then click on file and make sure that 'Work offline' at the bottom is not checked.

Also just good habit, make sure that you are on the latest version of the application by downloading the package at http://get.live.com.

  • I just installed a new router and now my desktop running Windows XP computer does not connect to the internet.

    Hello

I just installed a new router and now my desktop running xp computer does not connect to the internet. I know that it is not the router because I plugged the cable into my laptop running 7 and it works fine. When I try to dhcp I get 169..., when I put manually the IP just get no access to the internet and can not ping to the router address. I tried to run the net work Assistant, emptied my dns, disabled all firewals, still nothing.
    Any suggestions?
    original title: connectivity Limeted

The zero configuration utility works very well. But it is a desktop computer and on cable. All other wired and wireless PC in the office is working well, then it's definitely this PC. He came out of nowhere, I install a network printer on the PC but that's all.

Your messages are a bit terse, but if I understand correctly

    • You have a router connected to the Internet and multiple computers connected to the router, some Ethernet cable and others by wireless.
    • All but one of these computers can reach successfully from the Internet via the router.
    • A computer that can't browse the Internet is connected to the router via an Ethernet cable.
    • You disconnected the cable between the router and the desktop problem and connected it to a Windows 7 laptop and the laptop connected to the Internet via the router.
    • You haven't seen any error message (except, perhaps, a message on "Limited or no connectivity").
    • You have installed Windows XP Service Pack 3 (or at least Service Pack 2)

Assuming that all the foregoing is an accurate summary of the situation, I suggest that you do the following:

Open a command prompt window (start > run > cmd > OK)
Type the following lines and press ENTER after each line

    Netsh reset winsock catalog
    netsh int ip reset c:\resetlog.txt

Close the command prompt window and restart the computer.

I tried to configure Windows Live Mail, after that I discovered that Windows 7 does more support OUTLOOK EXPRESS. • Internet connection problems; PC says not connected to the internet

Despite the fact that I am connected to the internet through a broadband network, that the pc still shows that I am not connected to any network - why this?

If you could be more descriptive, it would be useful.  I'll take a good guess on what you ask on...

Most of the time, according to me, you can describe what your computer is able to find a wireless router but the router doesn't send an IP (its normal function).  He would say connected, but no internet connection.

    This is usually:

    1. your Internet service provider is down or your connection to it is broken.  If this is the case there is nothing you can do about it.  Call your service provider.

2 your computer network security key does not match the one in the router.

    Next:

1 reset the modem & router.  Follow these instructions precisely: http://canadiantech.info/?page_id=136

    2. If that does not resolve the problem, you must remove this network from your list of networks to manage Windows 7.  Then try to connect again using the network key, you know.

    3. If this does not work, you will need to do a factory reset on the router and re - install the router according to the router set up instructions.

    4. If after all the above does not correct the problem, you must replace your router.

with the error I also get something like 'outside respose time '.

    Hi George,.

Thanks for posting your query in Microsoft Community and we can help you with your problem.

According to the description, you are facing problems with turning on Windows Defender. To help you to propose measures to solve the problem, I would appreciate if you could answer the following questions:

    1. what security software is installed on the computer?

2 did you do changes on the computer before the show?

You must have security (anti-virus) software installed on the computer.

More than ONE cause of slow system, freezing injuries, programs not to work properly with Microsoft Security Essentials (MSE) disables Windows Vista Defender as MSE has its own integrated version in Defender.

You can follow the steps in the article mentioned below and check if it works:
