• I have the latest Windows Live Mail 2011, but when standby and locks system, the only way out is to do a complete or end of Windows, restart then go into sleep mode. This never used to happen until Windows 2011 has been upated in my PC.

  I forget always at the end of the lIve session of Windows before you put it in standby mode, the PC appears and then lock properly said, in response to anything, so I have to do a reboot complete, very annoying.

  Also when working within Windows 2011, if you add a lot of attachments to an e-mail, I have often to do and then send it, the list of attachments disappear off the screen, so when you send you do not know really which was transmitted, horrible situation, so you must include send to yourself, then you can check what has been sent.   Windows Live Mail is extremely slow on all actions, such as selection, type, transmission, reception, everything, to the point where it is impractical and unusable.

  I have a brand new HP Elite, Windows Vista Home Premium x 64, to this day, virus scanned, etc.. All programs work well, including Windows Mail. But Windows Live Mail service is really too slow to be of any use.

  I have not agreed to update to IE8 because of many problems posted with it, that's why I continue to use IE7.

  In my case I've deleted and reloaded Windows Live several times to include remove entries from my system registry.  My suspicion is that there is some sort of error of data in the mail store, but there are NO tools available to scan/identify/repair the Windows Mail store used by Windows Live Mail.

  What I've tried so far based on different positions by looking at.

  Photoshop Preferenes

  • Reduction in the background
  • Maximize PSD and PSB file compatibility ever
  • Tile cache size: 128 k
  • The advanced GPU settings: Basic & Normal
  • The layer Panel options: no thumbnail

  Observations and workthroughs so far

  • The size of the file and the amount of objects intelligent effects him propelling file that is more intelligent objects, you have the worse it gets
  • These files worked perfectly in PS CS5
  • It also happens on files created natively in PS CS6
  • The CPU is maxing out at 100%, while expenses for PS
  • Suitcase open or closed has no effect.

  System:

  • iMac 27 inches, mid-2011
  • 3.4 GHz Intel Core i7 processor
  • 16 GB 1333 MHz DDR3 memory
  • AMD Radeon HD 6970 M 1024 MB graphics card

  A solution!

  It turns out that the problem in my case was in fact the case. Previously, I tried to turn it off, but it does not solve the problem, so this time, I uninstalled it completely and the problem disappeared. Then I started to add new (installed 15.0.1, updated, etc) and the problem has resurfaced with the addition of the specific Photoshop plugin. Removal of this plugin solves the problem. So, it seems that "disabling" suitcase by stopping the TypeCore don't seem to actually deactivate all the tentacles that he sticks in your system.

  (After a reboot, I also had to remove the font cache, as described here http://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/kb/troubleshoot-fonts-photoshop-cs5.html but your mileage may vary.)

  Alternatively, if you do not want to remove the plugin, it disabled in Photoshop seems to work as well. To do this, go to file > Automate > Extensis, click on Preferences..., and then deselect enable Suitcase Fusion 4 - Automatic Activation.

  Fortunately, the plugin does not seem necessary at all to use the main features of suitcase (to activate and deactivate fonts) in Photoshop. I didn't even know what these plugins makes specific app until that research on this problem, and I don't always quite understand the point of them. I guess that they allow you to leave the apps for which they are installed a small bit more their own management (activate a font via suitcase that is not on the system-wide), but that seems to be more control I need - if I am allowing a police, I want that all my software to use it.

  In any case, the problem seems to be solved completely on my system now, although I have all this, so more tests in the coming days is required. I'll post here if problems arise. I'm interested in hearing if this solve for someone else.

  When I load Windows 7 it takes 3-5 minutes until the desktop. It then takes another 2 1/2-4 minutes for the icons to load and other programs to be active.
