"" Windows live messenger to always change my status to "available"

Hello

I seem to have problems with Live messenger lately. Basically when I'm at work, I left Messenger in 'offline' that I just want to see when I get emails on my account.

"" After a few minutes then automatically change to "available". If I change back to 'Appear offline' it will change again in ' available after a short period of time.

First of all, I thought it was this computer, but it does the same thing with my computer at home that uses different antivirus/Firewall etc.

Any ideas on how to fix this? I tried to uninstall windows live and resettlement on both systems, but the same problem occurs. I'm quite confused with her as he never done until about 2 weeks ago. I have not changed the settings on computers.

Thank you very much

Cameron

Thank you. That will keep in mind.

However, I think that I have can I have resolved after much tinkering. Basically I have messenger connect as "Appear offline" and I've noticed whenever I opened the Inbox that would change that.

I open the Inbox via a different browser and noticed that the details were saved differently. I connected to this, changed the parameter to 'Appear offline' and disconnected return.

"" Opens the Inbox via messenger and so far he has not changed to "available". If all goes well, which cured it.

I got a message when I tried to connect with an earlier version of messenger that for security questions, I would need to download the latest version and she refused to let me answer no (as I previously had problems with the latest version and did not want to go through this again). Well, of course, does it again and I'm guessing he won't let me not reinstall a previous version as indicated previously for "security issues". When I try to connect (it takes about three seconds or less) it comes up with this error message (not everytime, as usual it just expires in three seconds and I try again) "Windows Live Communications Platform.

"Windows Live Communications Platform has encountered a problem and needs to close.  We are sorry for the inconvenience. »
Then it gives me the option to send an error report, which I always do.  Also, once the couple if I let him just sit there until I have send an error report it comes up with this: "we are unable to connect to Windows Live Messenger. Your contact list is not available at this time, please try again later. "More information (as a link) error code: 8e5e05ed" I have Windows XP, which is said by the way. If anyone can help, I would REALLY appreciate it.  Thank you.

Edit: I'm sorry to put this under what looks like a Windows visited forum. I'll try to remove it as soon as I find Windows XP one.

Additional information: I have been able to contact Microsoft about this and they sent a message with the following information:

    a. click Start, click run, type taskmgr in the run box and press ENTER or click OK. If you're running Vista, click Start, type taskmsgr in the box Search to Start , and then press ENTER.

    b. in the Windows Task Manager window, click the process tab.

    c. under Image name, locate Nsvcappflt.exe and click end process.

    d. click Yes to confirm.

    e. sign in to Windows Live Messenger.

This solved my problem.  I had to keep end Tasking Nsvcappflt.exe until I found that I could uninstall it completely (a manager of network of Nvidia or something).  So I hope this will help you guys as well.

  • Changes to Windows Live Messenger

    Who may be affected,

I recently installed the beta version of Windows Live Messenger and my extreme disappointment, the use of the webcam is no longer available. Why is this?

I do not understand why you deleted this option in the program. I had several throughout my time hotmail accounts and have been used so the existence of applications that I use it almost daily as well as various other messenger users, I know.

Due to this change when I install the new version, I assumed that if I reinstalled the version, I had before I would get this back action... However, this was not the case and I was very aggravated that I wasted time doing this for no reason.

From what I can see of your last program 'development', Microsoft are trying too hard to make their own version of Skype... that many people use less often because she is of the video capabilities of Windows Live Messenger. Will tell you that companies regularly use video calls as a form of communication, but from what I see, your video call feature is far from being desirable and was not always reliable. Apart from that, in all honesty, your beta version is much more user-friendly and visually appealing. However, it would be obviously more attractive if she had the choice of video calls and webcam, as he always did.

I really hope you like what I said, as I'm sure many of your other customers are asking, and you did a little upset by the big change to the program. I look forward to hear from you.

    Hello

One of your antivirus programs? You should not have two or more on the computer much
less running. They load the pieces themselves at startup and interfere with each other
which can actually reduce safety. If its best uninstall all but one and run the removal
Tool or look for the special removal for these deleted instructions.

    Hi Ernie,.

Here are a few things that you can watch in which could be causing the problem.

    1. the date on your computer needs to be properly defined - double click the clock verify that the time and date are set.

    2. If your password information is not saved, make sure that you type it in with the proper case (uppercase or lowercase).

    3. change your password @ https://login.passport.com/ChangePW.srf to something smaller (less than 10-12 characters), and then try to connect again.

    4. If you use a firewall (like Norton Internet Security, ZoneAlarm etc.), it is possible that Messenger doesn't have the correct rights to access the Internet. You can try to re / add Messenger to the allowed list of programs in your firewall.

    5. If you disabled your firewall in the past, it may be blocking Messenger - always try to reboot and see if that helps the situation. You can also try to uninstall a firewall installed, to check that it isn't causing a problem (even if it is disabled).

    6. clear your IE cache and cookies - open Internet Explorer > click the Tools menu > Internet Options > click the button Delete files and when it is finished, click Delete Cookies.

    7. check your IE security settings--open Internet Explorer, click on tools, then Internet Options menu, click the Advanced tab, scroll to the Security section and make sure 'Search' evocation of server certificate is not checked. Also make sure that "use SSL 2.0"and the use SSL 3.0 is checked, then click OK."

    8. Click Start, then run, and enter the following information:

Click OK, and then do the same for the following:

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Windows Live Messenger 2.5 does not connect on Rogers Curve 8900

The old version of WLM worked perfectly for me.  A couple of days, I have updated to the new version of WLM OTA.  The installation seemed to go very well, and the app loads properly, but whenever I try to connect I just saw 'connection' with the spinning icons command prompt, and then I get "connection error (65): problem receiving data from the server.

There is an entry on this forum for this error on a 8320 and it says that the problem is the APN setting.  I had the same parameter APN (internet.com) on this BB for quite some time and it has always worked with the old version of WLM.  I tried to change the APN with no luck, and I fired both service books.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thank you.

So since no one had no response, I went ahead and solved this problem myself:

    (1) removed Windows Live Messenger device (Options-> advanced-> Applications)

    (2) removed WLM all the partners service books (Options-> advanced-> service book Options)

    (3) device reloaded

    (4) reinstalled WLM

    (5) broadcast service books to the device of the site Web of BIS of suppliers
