WINDOWS LIVE MOVIE MAKER KEEPS GLITCHING

Hello:

I made a few videos with Windows Live Movie Maker. I have not had any problems, makes them, actually, it went very well. However, after the publication of the video and play it back, it ALWAYS glitches, starts 'paste' and sometimes stops working altogether, then resumes playback of the video. This problem occurs especially when I play the video in full screen. Sometimes, even when I play on the small screen. Can I do to stop this glitching? Would it be my OS, my computer, or if I need to download a new version of Live Movie Maker? I've had my computer for a while (2008). Could it be the problem?

Would appreciate any help you can provide.

Thank you

R. best

Probably depends on the format, playback or recording...

However, Windows vista supports windows media encoder 9 series. Try

Download of the microsoft encoder encoder, select this option to convert «»

audio/video", select the file, the encoder run auto...

See Add coder/ons, a number also exist. Vista is the latest OS to support

the Encoder 9 series, this is a great software for windows...

Original title: Windows Live Movie Maker

Hello! I have a problem with windows live movie maker. I had been using windows live movie maker before and was able to make several projects already.  But recently I could no longer open my files and the following messages keep appearing on: "Windows Live Movie Maker has stopped working.  A problem caused the blocking of the program works correctly.  Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available.  I downloaded the Windows Live Movie Maker program several times, but it does not work.  Does this mean I can have deleted a file/program to do work and recover all the projects I've done?  I remembered that once, I was removing a "Windows Live" in the program folder files because I wasn't happy with the Windows Live Messenger, kept popping up, which was not able to use, so I removed it from the list. Help, please!

You have posted in a forum of WIn XP, so I assume you are using XP?

Using Win XP Movie Maker 2.1... You can save as .avi as follows:

To save a DV - AVI movie file...
    (and other options)
Type of... CTRL + P (or go to...) File / save movie file)
to open the wizard movie recording.
    Choose... My computer.
    Next /.
Enter a name and a location.
    Next /.
    Show more choices.
    Other parameters.
Open the window of the droplet and choose... DV - AVI.
    Next /.
Wait while the movie is saved.
    Finishing...

Or you can try to convert your. WMV file to the. MOV or. AVI
    format using a converter.

There are many converters available on the net... some
    free... some detail.

The following freeware converter is just one example:

(FWIW... it's always a good idea to create a system)
Restore point before installing software or updates)

    Format Factory (freeware)
    http://www.videohelp.com/tools/Format_Factory
(the 'direct link' is faster download)
(the file you want to download is: > FFSetup296.zip<>
    (FWIW... installation..., you can uncheck
('all' boxes on the final screens)
    (Windows XP / Vista / 7)

First, you will need to decompress the file or just open the
    Drag > FFSetup296.exe< out="" of="" the="">
and drop it on your desktop. To install left click.

Next, after the download and installation of Format
Factory... you can open the program and
left click on the toolbar, the "Option" button and
"Select an output folder to" / apply / OK.
(this is where you find your files after they)
    are converted)

Drag and drop your video clips on the main screen...

Select ' all-your choice of formats "/ OK...

Click on... Beginning... in the toolbar...

    That should do it...

    Good luck...

  • Is it possible that Windows Live Movie Maker can be used by the XP users?

I just pulled a cruise (Holland America) which offers courses of LARGE digital workshop. I've learned about Windows Live and RL photo gallery - what is optimal. But - MOST important - I've learned about Live Movie Maker - an improvement on the old version of WMM. WMM is not .mov files that produce new cameras. Only the .avi. I went to download the pgm MM Live and he says that Win 7 is required! There are some XPs MILLION out there and it is a pgm this cool. Any possibility there's far more that if I can use the .mov files without having to convert all of them to .avi. Or is it possible that Microsoft will be kind to us and give us live MM under Windows Essentials for XP?

Windows Live Essentials for XP contains no Windows Live Movie Maker, as you know. We are not aware of what the developers have in mind. However, because Windows XP is a ten year old operating system, I doubt there is much chance it will be retro-compatible with Windows XP.

There is a good reason to upgrade to Windows 7 to take advantage of all the new and improved and product changes.

    Sincerely,

  • Help with download of Windows Live Movie Maker!

When I go on the site for download, I get this:
This version of Movie Maker is not available for Windows XP. Windows Movie Maker 2.1 is available if you install Windows XP Service Pack 2.
So I tried to download a lot of things, but in weakened technology with faculties, I found myself with a lot of unnecessary things.

I was wondering if someone can give a microsoft site, where I can download Windows XP Service Pack 2? As a reliable site, preferably from microsoft.
I found this on the microsoft Web site:

Windows XP Service Pack 2 network installation Package for IT professionals and developers

But I do not know or think that that's what I need. All I want is Windows XP Service Pack 2 so I can use Movie Maker.

    Help would be much appreciated!

  • Difference between Windows movie maker vs Windows live movie maker and Windows photo gallery live vs Windows Photo Gallery

Title: Windows original Photo Gallery and Windows Movie Maker

Windows Movie Maker and windows photo gallery. picture of Windows live and Windows Live Movie Maker. What is the difference between these programs and who is better and easier to work with?

The answer is all one could expect from a "Microsoft Support Engineer". "." It is not an answer, it is a lazy response that obscures the issue. Who the * wants to sit here by clicking on the reference links? Try to take the time to answer the question correctly and clearly. The fact is that Windows Movie Maker, despite its flaws, is logical and easy to learn. Windows Live Movie Maker is the product of developers geeks trying to justify their work by producing a piece of absurd confusion that would be considered to be an 'upgrade' because it seems different from its predecessor. The fact is that Windows Movie Maker is MORE like film professional software publisher of Live Movie Maker, which is just no unwanted standard which is more like a project of diploma a graduate programmer. Movie Maker design allowed me to make the easy transition to the most advanced professional software, but this can never be achieved with the Windows Live Movie Maker, which is ridiculously long as stupid as his name.
