Windows Live Photo Gallery & Media have painted yellow & shades on all photos
Windows Live Photo Gallery & Media have painted yellow & shades on all the pictures - please help!
saw some other blogs on this & entered my color management, the only thing I have is my camera is my Dell video & the use my settings for this device is not checked & the other profile setting is in the management of color LCD & conversion (default) value of ICC profiles. I have not changed the settings on my pc with regard to color. all programs that are not windows with my photo-based work only these two now have yellow (live media & photo gallery) & it's really annoying:(-je veux mon vieux téléspectateurs retour.)
If someone could help me I would really appreciate it. I tried to do what the link says to go into color management, but nothing happened. I don't know what to add or what to change or remove & I don't want to be in a worse position to not do something correctly.
Thank you
I read the newspapers, I wasn't sure because in some newspapers, they have added things return to coz of samsung monitors & that's what threw me off the coast. in any case, I deleted everyting on this first page has restarted the computer & we now seem to be back to normal. Thank you for your help & now I can use my files from microsoft once more :).

Original title: Windows Live Photo Gallery problem
I used to have Windows Live Photo Gallery on this computer and it was working fine. For some reason, he took off. I tried to download again and get a message that says I have to sign as an administrator for the download to work. When I check my user account, it is said that I AM the administrator.
What should do? Thank you
Try to create a new administrator account and see if you can install the program. If you can, your profile is corrupt.

Why "Windows Live Photo Gallery" open automatically every time I have save a jpeg image?
Whenever I have save a JPEG of a website for Windows Live Photo Gallery automatically opens.
This has only started happening recently. How can I stop too?I went to options and clicked the 'open Windows Live Photo Gallery after importing files' option, but it still appears. It seems to only be with jpeg images.Hello Michael,
Has probably had a modified default parameter. To do this: go to control panel and select default programs. When that opens the first series to select your default programs, when this window opens select Windows Live Photo Gallery in the left column and choose defaults for this program on the right side. When this window opens, make sure that the JPEG is not selected. Save your changes and then OK yourself.
And to the home page by default, select programs associate any type of file or Protocol with a program. When this window opens to scroll to the bottom of the left side of the window until you get registration .jpeg. If the default associated program isn't one you want, go to top right and click on change program... When this window opens, either select a program from the list, select one of the other list of programs, or click Browse and select the program in the Explorer style list that is offered.
Let me know if this solves the problem for you.
Kind regards
BearPup

Windows Live Photo Gallery is a database that can
corrupted. (it is not affected by the uninstall /)
relocation of WLPG)If you rename the file... it will force the photo gallery to create a
new database file the next time, it is launched and the Gallery
will be as it was the first time it was launched.I'm not positive that this will solve the problem that you are
dealing with but if you want to test, the file name
is... Pictures.PD6.Just rename it to OLDPictures.pd6. This can cause you to
lose tags and metadata that are not rewritten on
the photo files. The path to the file is:
Windows\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\Microsoft\
Windows Live Photo Gallery\Pictures.pd6Pictures.PD6 is a file... the following article explains

I went to tools, Options, attachments and there are associated programs that should be able to open files - Windows Live Photo gallery for the Microsoft Excel for excel files and JPG files. I actually download and save the files and then open them. Is there any solution for this?
Go back and delete associations and start again by opening one of these files. Thunderbird will recreate the Scriptures based on your choices and they will then probably work.

Windows Live Photo Gallery 2012 - try to install and have any kind of problems.
The current version has been removed, but 2012 installed itself. How do I put a hand on her - am a little desperate! I saw somewhere that MS gave the Windows Live brand?
If this is the wrong forum, can someone point me to the right one?No, you are not thick ;)
Works this way? : click the button start . In the search box, type library and then in the list of results, double-click library.
Or: Copy this:
C:\Program Files (x 86) \Windows Live\Photo Galleryand paste it into the search box of start. Then enter. Find WLXPhotoGallery.exe and double-click it.
Press the thumb, thumb...

Photo Gallery Windows and Windows Live Photo Gallery will not open
Windows Photo Gallery does not open. This happened after trying to import images. Photo Gallery does not recognize the old photos so it would import duplicates, so I kept cancelling the process. Now it does not open. The blue circle goes as it will open up and then nothing happens. I downloaded Windows Live Photo Gallery, and it opens either. I have Windows Vista Home Premium version 6. On rare occasions, the gallery will open. What can I do? I read in this forum to rename the file, but it does not work. I did a system restore and that doesn't work anymore. Someone knows what can be done?

to rename the database file. The "Pictures.pd4" or "Pictures.pd5" (according to

No. Windows Photo Gallery comes with the Vista system. It cannot be uninstalled.
It will coexist with Windows Live Photo Gallery. You just need to name one as your default programand leave the other alone.I have both for 3 years.

Complex issue... but I'll try to offer some ideas.Data that cannot be rewritten on the photo files are archived in the
Windows Live Photo Gallery database owner (Pictures.pd5).
So... move the files may prevent access to the data.If you move the files to another computer, you may have some
moviing success the Pictures.pd5 file also.Sometimes data are not written back to the image files, because they
are read only... and sometimes it's because of the file format.Maybe the next thread will enlighten us:

Windows 7 (photos and Windows live photo gallery)
Am I missing something? Anyway, do one of these programs (photos and Windows live photo gallery) have a way of putting an arrow and a text box. These two programs is difficult to work with. Why can't I find the photos that I uploaded from my camera in 'Windows Live' on my computer so I can send them in an email or put it on Craigs list? Where is the edition in these programs? Help! Thank you!
Maybe a better idea to archive your photos on your hard drive.
Yes, the photos edited in paint can be saved as .jpg.
