• Windows Mail - does not get answers to emails

  I'm on Windows Vista Home Premium Service Pack 1 32-bit.

  I use Windows Mail for years.  Recently when I send an email to 2 or 3 people, and one of them says to me, I do not get the answer.  I also have a Blackberry, and the answers are not there either.  By my server, I was told that the problem is Windows Mail, not them.  The provider is Cox Communications.  I was told by them do not use Windows Mail for awhile and just use the Webmail which provides the provider.  I seem to be getting all the emails there.  So it seems that Windows Mail is not attracting all the emails on the server.  When I recently sent an email to 12 people, I had answers to this email.  So it seems to be the No. 2 beneficiary or 3 it's a problem, and it is not always the same 2 or 3 recipients and each has a different server!  Yikes!  How the difficulties push it?

  I read a little in this forum about Windows Live.  Think I'll wait a few days and maybe try that, unless someone here comes up with another fix.

  BTW, I have for some time had an gmail account.  I had that when I got my first smart phone a few months ago.  I had the worst problems with it with my email.  So I switched to the BlackBerry, and this problem came.  Think I'll go back to the cans and a string.

  as noted above, I have created a stationary and it worked very well so far, but now it does not show the same font as the saved file.

  This is a bug in IE.  I simply booted Vista and uses a test page and installed Goudy fonts.  I then checked and IE (IE9 help |) About shows version 9.0.8112.6421) shows the police incorrectly as italic.  It is not a matter of WinMail as WinMail uses IE to display fonts.

  To work around the problem, you can do the following: go to control panel | Fonts and select the Goudy Old Style italic font and then go to Edition | Delete and the police.  IE (and probably WinMail) will then render correctly no italic fonts.  If you then set the italic, he italicizes still the police, so you should not at all the police of Goudy Old Style italic.

  See if that fixes things eventually.

  What Windows Mail in Vista or Windows Live Mail in Win7? If it is a POP3 account, you can filter your messages by using message rules. This is for Outlook Express, but it works the same either of the programs.

  Start with the only rule of AddressBook and you receive a message that you want people not in your address book (E-mail from companies, bills, your ISP, etc), you can add them to the rule.

  Box 1 - Where the From line contains people {check it out}

  Box 2 - Check: delete it & stop processing more rules if you want messages not in the address book to go to deleted items, or you can create a spam folder and direct them here.

  You can choose to delete the server, but be careful because you never have messages downloaded to any folder, if you choose this option.

  Box 3 - Click on the blue words contains people

  Click on the first address to select it. Scroll to the end and hold down the SHIFT key while you click the last address. This will highlight all. Right-click on it and click on from the menu that appears.

  Now, click Options and choose: Message * contains no of * the people below in the top of the page Options area, then choose: Message corresponds to one of the people below in the background Options box.

  OK your way out of the new rule.

  Now, only the addresses that you entered will be uploaded to your Inbox. You won't see other emails.

  Remember, if you add a person to your address book, you must add to the rule. It will not automatically be added.

• Satellite L30 Windows XP does not download updates

  I formatted my old laptop Equium L30 to factory settings (XP Home) with supplied Toshiba recovery cd. After this, my internet connection does not work correctly.

  I can browse normally (Explorer, Chrome), but the computer is not download the updates of Windows or other updates, updates to the antivirus for example program.

  I've also updated the LAN and WLAN drivers of Toshiba and the site of the manufacturer (Atheros and Realtek).
  Also, I've manually updated Windows SP3 as BIOS (extract from the Toshiba site).

  When I look at the State of both WLAN and LAN connection, the only 'package' that moves is when I browse the internet with the browser.

  Click the sent items folder > view > current view > show all messages
