Why my computer says "Windows Media Player cannot read the Blue Ray Disc. The disk has been created in a way that the player does not support "? I have Windows Media Player 12 and it comes a new movie. I can play other discs blue ray on this computer, but not this one. Is there an update that I'm missing or a codec I need?
This new film format is not supported by Windows Media Player, here is a link on how to play a dvd on windows media... player and codecs...

If you can not play... try using third-party codecs, but at your own risk :D
Hope this helps you :)

Hello
(1) what is the file format of the photos on the CD?
(2) you are able to play another CD/DVD on this computer?
(3) have you made recent changes to the computer before the show?
(4) is it a Blu - ray disc?
Install the codec for Blu - Ray. Your Blu - ray player should have come with a medium containing the codec. You can also use your favorite search engine and free research Blu - ray codec.
The Blu - ray disc format is not supported in Windows Media Player. To play a Blu - ray disc, you must use a non-Microsoft program that supports Blu - ray playback and a device that can play Blu - ray discs. If you have a program that supports Blu - ray, then I suggest you to use the Troubleshoot utility and check for the issue.

Original title: Windows live mail error send
Cannot send mail to Windows Live Mail. Error message... The server does not support an SSL connection. Server error 250. Server - * address email is removed from the privacy *. Windows Live Mail error ID - 0x800CCC7D. SMTP Protocol. Port 25.
It's better, thank you. This message is not from the BT Server; It comes from your Avast antivirus which is intercepting your mail. You would be well advised to turn off the Avast Mail shield; It does not add any additional security if you don't by attention elsewhere, and can cause problems.
I see that it is the record of mail in bulk that because of the problems in this case. Connect to the Web e-mail account and clear the items junk and deleted records.
BT is recommended to use SSL, but your original question indicated that SSL was not taken in charge for SMTP on port 25. I think we'd better go on all your settings. Recommendations of BT are on this page: BT email: what are the settings for outgoing and incoming mail servers?, but they only work if you disable Avast scanning mail.
Right-click on the account name in the folders pane, and then select Properties.
- Under the servers tab, make sure that my server requires authentication is selected.
Select connect with authentication in clear text. - On the Advanced tab, select this server requires a secure connection (SSL) for both servers.
Make sure that the incoming (IMAP) port is 993 and port for outgoing (SMTP) is 465.
When you've made all these changes, close Windows Live mail and wait five minutes for the program do its cleaning and save the modified settings. Then, restart the computer and make sure that the Mail of Avast shield is always off.
Launch Windows Live Mail, then dial a new test message and send it to yourself. Post a new message in your response.
- Under the servers tab, make sure that my server requires authentication is selected.

Original title: cannot get audio from video .3g2 (Windows 7)
I have a number of videos that were recorded on a Motorola phone to format .3g2, when I played against them in windows XP Pro using what was the most recent media player, they played very well and the audio was present.
I've since upgraded to Windows 7 Ultimate and have found that videos will play with media player sound is not output.
I tried different players like VLC (same result, no sound) and came across one called SUPER from erightsoft which indeed works and allows me to re - encode to .wmv BUT when I do and you try to read the .wmv I encounter an error:
"Windows Media Player cannot play the file. The player does not support the format you are trying to play. »
When I clikc on help, I am led to a page with links on THIS forum.
So here I am.
Can someone explain what is happening, why it happens and how / if I can convert them into a playable (with audio) .wmv friendly format?
Thank you

Windows Media Player does not support the codec used to compress the file.
I can't do some of my videos to play it goes on to say that Windows media player does not support the codec used to compress the file. How can I fix?
Hello
What is the file format of the video files you are trying to play in Windows Media Player?
Windows Media Player cannot play the file. The player might not support the file type or does not support the codec used to compress the file.
You may encounter this error message for the following reasons:
(a) the file type is supported by the drive, but the file was compressed by using a codec that is not supported by the player.
(b) the file might have been encoded with a codec that is not supported by Windows Media Player. If this is the case, Windows Media Player cannot play the file.
Windows media player will play only the files and videos only if it supports this type of file.
Please see the bottom of the article that gives you information on the types of media files that supports Windows Media Player.
http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/316992
If the files are not supported by Windows media player, then you will need to use a few players from third party that supports this file format.

I have windows 8 and ip4000. The software does not load and it doesn't seem to be a driver for 8 64-bit windows. What can I do?
Hello
I had the same problem. I was able to get around by loading the driver for Windows XP 64 bit from the Canon web site and then install the printer using the normal menu of 'install new printer' Windows 8. If I remember correctly, I could have gotten an error message or two, but the printer appears in the printer window and ran very well. Hope this works for you as well. -
The destination does not support 64-bit clients
My VMware server contains two Quad Core 64-bit processors. I'm migrating a physical machine running Windows 2 k 3 64-bit to a virtual machine, but the migration/converter of VMware software responds with, ' < span class = "objects" > the destination does not support 64-bit clients.» Why doesn't it let me convert the machine? Thanks for any help.
You must enable VT in the advanced options of the BIOS of the HOST servers. Once this is done, you must turn off the physical machine and power then turn it back on.

When I run COD4 it says ' error during initialization: video card or the driver does not support alpha separate mixture, glow will be disabled.
No idea why this is happening? There are maybe a few settings in the options/preferences menu of COD. Your best way is to ask in a support forum for COD.

Your Hotmail account is configured in Windows mail or Windows Live Mail. Yes?
If the school is "none"... ignore the rest of my answer. If so,.
Open Windows mail > tools > accounts > click your hotmail account > properties > advanced. Under outgoing (SMTP) Mail, change the port # 25 to 587 > click OK
see if it's ok now by sending a test message to yourself.
