Windows media player error C00D1197, and I trying to activate all the protcals network and fix if all goes well. How?

I have tried to resolve the error C00D1197 for months and ran into a field that says "to enable all network protocols.  How would I do that as this error comes up saying "Windows Media player cannot find the file.  If you try to read, burn or sync an item in your library, the element can point to a file that has been moved, renamed or deleted".  I try to rip and burn and can not and some music from the library has different songs on the album listed, but it plays ok.  A little help from a friend if you please.  TKS, Jimbo

Am not able to play music in Windows Media Player to the library after the transfer of music from another computer.  Error message says that I don't have the media usage rights acquisition.

    Hello

Thanks for posting your query in Microsoft Community and we give the opportunity to help you.

    Cause of the error:

Windows Media Player uses Microsoft Digital Rights Management (DRM) to protect the rights of content owners who protect their music or video products in this manner. You must have usage rights required to play, burn, or sync protected content.

How to upgrade the DRM license?

By default, Windows Media Player will automatically attempt to acquire the rights of use in silence unless the server requires some input on your part (for example, registration or tax information). You can disable the automatic rights acquisition. In this case, you will be asked to obtain the rights for any new content that requires them. To prevent Windows Media Player from acquiring rights automatically, do the following:

    a. click on the arrow on the now playing tab, and then click Other Options.

    b. click on the Privacy tab, and clear the automatically check if protected files need to be refreshed check.

Please note that this setting affects not acquisition of rights of use of online stores.

  • I have NO SOUND on my computer and the Windows Media Player error message is C00D11BA.

To try to solve the problem that I discovered in the Audio tab in sounds and Audio devices properties, there is No default unit in the area of audio playback and No default unit in the peripheral zone of MIDI playback.  In addition, the general tab in the properties of the device Audio USB says "this device is working properly" and that it is enabled as described in the use of the device box. The general tab of the device Audio USB also said the "Driver is enabled and working properly."

I am able to record dictation through a program of Dragon NaturallySpeaking.

I'm on Windows XP Pro with Service Pack 3, and before that I lost sound had not recently added that any hardware or software even though I may have uninstalled some rarely used program.

    Hello

The usual cause of the error C00D11BA is when the sound card drivers are not installed or outdated.

Windows Media Player cannot play the file because there is a problem with the audio device, such as a map his or her controller.

Welcome to the Microsoft Community Forum!

Based on the information you gave it seems you found the error code 0x80004005 and 0x8007047F during the installation of Windows Media player.

If you have windows 7 installed, it is not possible to uninstall Windows Media Player 12. Windows Media Player 12 comes preinstalled with the operating system. You can not downgrade to Windows Media Player 11 in Windows 7.

I suggest you to follow the link and check if it is enabled or disabled, and then restart the computer to start windows media player 12.

  • Windows Media Player 11 lists and plays each song twice

Why Windows Media Player 11 list and play each song twice without being in a loop? Help me

I have problems with windows media player 11 playing each son twice and it is very annoying.  How can I solve this problem?

Sara: I suggest that you try to reset the media library. Note firstly reset the library will make you lose all play counts and ratings too. Then, follow these steps:

    -Restart the PC.
-Click Start, type services.msc in the search field and press ENTER. In Services, locate the Windows Media Player Network Sharing Service. If its status is started, double-click on the service and click on stop.
-Click Start, type %LOCALAPPDATA%\Microsoft in the search field and press ENTER. This folder opens in Windows Explorer.
-In this folder, delete the folder Media Player. If you do not see the folder, then it is probably hidden. Set Explorer to view the hidden files and folders and show protected system files.
-Launch WMP, your library will have been reset and will be rebuilt. Check if the problem persists.
