I have a few HD movies on my pc (running Windows XP), F4V type. I need to convert them to DVD with menu DVD. It is not an easy task so can you tell me how to do step by step which would explain my options, configurations. Thank you very much, Willom.

Windows XP Movie Maker cannot create video DVDs.
You need DVD Authoring software.

I tried to import this hour long video in windows movie maker, and the result is that only five seconds of the video is imported. • NO sound when the videos in Windows Movie maker are burned on a DVD

Original title: Movie maker audio problem

I just made my first movie maker windows movie with still photos and music. It has previewed perfectly but when I burned the DVD there is no audio on it. What's wrong?

    Hello

A few quick thoughts on this:

Have you tried your video playback to test after you created it? Also, if you were to test on a DVD player, check the disc on a PC first to see if it works.

Also check if the audio track has been added to the timeline of the movie (video).

Last but not least, experience using audio in a different format and recording your video in a different format.

Please check the above before you write back to a disk.

  • Window Movie Maker change my video clips to an audio file... Why?

When I imported a WMM video clip which is a. AVI file and it fell on the timeline and read, I could hear no problem but the screen was black. I noticed that when I dropped it, it loaded to the audio track. So I checked the properties, and he said it was an audio file... why? How to recognize them as videos?

I use WMM 6 on Vista Home premium 64-bit if that helps
    Thank you
