Windows Movie Maker-legends are incomplete when published in the final movie
My captions are incomplete when published in the final movie... :(
Hello everyone.
I use Windows Movie Maker to create a photo slideshow set to music. In addition, each photo has a caption.
Here's my problem:
Some photo captions are messy when I publish the movie. For example, "TCS 1999" shows as "SDC 199" in the published version, even if "SDC 2000" remains the same in the published version. " Not every picture is affected, but it is irritating.
I would appreciate anyone's insight into this matter.

2. did you of recent changes on the computer?
3. What is the file format of the burned photos?
4. which Windows Player do you use to play the burned photos?
A DVD may not play properly in some DVD players or DVD - ROM readers to one of the following reasons:
The type of drive may not be compatible. Some DVD players or DVD - ROM drives can play some types of DVD. For example, some DVD players only play discs DVD + R or DVD + RW, while others play only DVD-R or DVD - RW discs.
The quality of the disc may be too low. Some DVD players or DVD - ROM drives will not play DVD if the disc is not in good condition or if it isn't a high quality disc. If your Player cannot play a DVD, you can try to burn again using a higher quality DVD.
DVD decoding software can not be installed on the computer. If you try to play the DVD in the DVD drive on another computer, the DVD will not play if DVD decoding software is not installed on this computer.
To determine what types of DVDs your DVD player or DVD - ROM drive can play, see the documentation that came with your device or go to the manufacturer's Web site.

A large number of files in your site seems not to be on the server. If you use file > upload to FTP host, please repeat the process and select Download all files. If you use file > export as HTML and download with an FTP external program, please repeat the export process in an EMPTY FOLDER and then download everything that has been exported to your server.
Captivate 8 - video integration problems. Video won't play Web server when published under the title of course HTML5 and video is selected to play in the same screen. Play video it works only in a new window. The problem is the customer's requested integrated video and it shows as an option in Captivate 8. In addition, the video screen is not at the same place on the screen, the image moves to the top of the browser window in Internet Explorer. Graphics problems appear ONLY in IE and Chrome for PC. We have updated browsers, installed all updates to Captivate 8 etc.
The issue seems to be with internet explore. The url is *.mp4, if IE browser opens Media player in a new window to read the files.
Workaround solution:
Instead of using the interaction of the Web object, you can use a Web object (objects-> Web) site in the menu object.
After insertion, select the code incorporated in the style of the real property section. (Screenshot below)
Encapsulate the url in an HTML video tag and use it as input.
I can't access the section of customize notification area. When I click the button nothing happens. It is also the same thing when I try to access it through the control panel.

I have a button with a 'Execute JavaScript' action and event failed to get a simple alert("hello"); to work when published under the title of SWF. I tried to publish with each different versions of Flash Player. JavaScript works well when it released as HTML5.

The last thing installed on windows update is Windows Update Agent 7.6.7600.320, but it seems to have installed correctly. I tried a lot of different things in the forums, but nothing works. Please notify. Thank you.
Just found the solution. I needed to update my version of Internet Explorer. I used 8 and just updated to 11. Problem solved. Updates work again.

I use e-tools of Weight Watchers. I've been accessing using Firefox since January 2011. Last month, when I open the Food Tracker window from the home page, it is reduced. When I maximize the window, I see all of the tracking page. The right side is cut off. Now, I use internet explore to access this page.
Each button "shows" a group containing a semi opaque, video background, and a close button - to create a style lightbox effect.
I created each of the 15 by copying and pasting the first 'master' and then update the video and rename layers. Everything is super good tidy and organized.
But only the last 10 (col 2 & 3) work. These were created last. The first column start the background and the close button, but the video is invisible.
What I tried:
creating an action for the show of the art rather than using the default action
put in a different video in the Group (does not work)
linking button to a group that works (works! bot is bad video)
cloning of a working group and update the video (no)
creating a group completely from scratch, no duplication (no)
completely out a captivate rebooted (no)
reproduced the offending slide and then deleted all the * work * buttons leaving those who does not work (the first button works now, the launch of 4 remaining video playe, but no video, whereas previously they wouldn't start the player at all)
When I duplicated the slide I does not alter this first button, so basically it doesn't work on the previous slide, but works on this...
I've been Googling because I just this suspicion that maybe there is a limit of 10 videos by slide... or videos per project and somehow I'm just more than 5.
I see a lot of problems of this kind. You try to do everything on a slide, with a complex interaction that is almost always a bad idea.
By all means, use your buttons to launch the videos, but put everything on different slides. Access the video slide through the button and then again after the end of the video. ]
You can always do the slides LOOK like they are light boxes. The end-user will be none the wiser. But in this way we will all be much easier for you to maintain and you won't be overloading a single slide.

My initial project was 125 minutes of capacity DVD 150 minutes. I tried to burn a small project in 58 minutes and successfully completed. No idea why I can't use more than the ability of the DVD? All I can do to fix this? I'm running a new HP with a Phenom x 4 processor, 64-bit, and I've got important of RAM and hard drive space available.

=========================================== Usually a single layer 4.7 GB DVD white held an hour of high quality video. With compression, some programs are capable of the extension of this period. I don't know exactly what is DVD Maker capable of in that regard I think 150 minutes it is really pushing.
Large and complex projects usually cause problems. Best bet IMHO would be to create several small projects and publish (save) each a WMV format movie to a folder on your hard drive.
Then import the WMV files collected in DVD Maker and each of them becomes a scene (chapter), you can have up to 18 scenes.
Without a doubt... video editing and DVD burning can be a frustrating business.

I have created a slideshow with background music using Windows DVD maker on a DVD-R and DVD + R and others cannot open or run the disc. I can't run into a DVD player, but my computer it plays very well. Any suggestions?

Create your slideshow (photos and music) in the film Creator of... and then publish the file to a folder on your hard drive walk in the .wmv format.
I made a movie in Windows Movie Maker using film 8 mm which was transferred to the files. The film came out great but when I go to 'release', or burn to dvd, it says Windows Movie Maker will save file and open it in creation of DVD to burn/publish. About halfway through the movie, there is no 8 mm video, you can see all the titles, and hear the music that I edited in but no video. I cut the video in half thinking there was too much data, I burned my movie with no other programs running, I changed all the transitions and titles in thinking that you might have a glitch. I have burned about 10 films try something different each time without success. Help!

1. click on Toolsand then click Options.
2. click on the compatibility tab.
3. to turn off a filter, clear the check box next to the name of the video filter.

Duplication did not begin until I tried to load the list of updates. Continues to tell me the same updates are available and download them if allowed. Don't worry what you see in the installed updates or unable to uninstall the 3 updates, simply 'hide' and move.

I just bought the curve 8310. Y at - it a way to answer automatically when you use the hands free jawbone earpiece. I was able to go into the settings with my razr phone, but have been unable to locate an area in the curve to do.
