  • The Windows startup sound no longer plays

Windows 7, 64-bit by using Windows Update.

When I turn on the PC or restart the Windows startup sound does not play.  This has nothing to do with the sounds of opening or closing session.  We are talking sound startup only.  Any other system sounds work fine.
Any ideas on what's changed here to reach?  Thank you.

I agree. There is no solution to this problem so far.

The alleged answer above re Steamer Service from NVIDIA might work if you have the service running... but I did not.
I always have this problem on a laptop Dell D830 using SigmaTel High Definition Audio. The last time when the startup sound has played once was after I did a registry cleaning. Since then he has not played again.
    All other sounds play fine.
Convince me that it is not a registry problem! Someone at MS should know the answer. Come out, come out wherever you are.
  • Windows 7 sound recorder

I have 2 USB microphones and I want to use both at the same time by using Windows 7 Sound Recorder software. How can I do?

    Hello Paul,

Thanks for posting your query in Microsoft Community.

Windows does not give you an opportunity to have two recorders at the same time. If you want to record the sound using two microphones, in Windows 7, it is possible to set a single default device (Microphone) at some point of time.

Only some specialized software such as third party software that can help you to set up and use two recording devices. You can use your favorite search engine and search for the software to achieve this. Third party software warning: using third-party software, including hardware drivers can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from starting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the use of third-party software can be solved. Software using third party is at your own risk.

If you want two different microphones to record sound at the same time, then there is a connection adapter used to record with two devices in windows 7. These connectors / device sharing
help you in recording of two different microphones as in the registration of theatres or radio stations.

Hope this information helps. Please return back incase of some Windows-related issues.

  • After changing hardware, started back in windows my sound stopped working

A week ago I tried to install Mac OS X on one of my hard drives added.  I used two different methods.  The first iBoot use and the second using Chameleon.  During this process, I moved my video card since the second PCIe slot to the first and exchanged my typical (8GBX2) 16 GB of ram for a 4 GB stick as it was necessary to make the hackintosh.  Long story short, I did not, and once I gave up my shenanigans and starts up in windows my sound is no longer used.  I checked and it showed that my speakers connected to the back were disconnected.  Plug the headphones into the front also will not work.  I googled everything and have tried convenience store windows, uninstall the driver and re installation, replacing my hardware configuration to the way it was, System Restore, reset of the bios, deactivation and activation of the integrated sound card.  I played with the settings of realtek and despite all efforts, nothing has worked.  The speakers work as I the plugged into my iPhone and played the same music if their fine.  However, the computer will play the sound through my video card to my TV via HDMI

You must install, restart the PC, go to the icon of black soundmax Control Panel and check the multi streaming.

Restart the PC, go to control panel, hardware and sound > sound > manage audio devices, and then select speakers as the default value.

  • Satellite A110-277 - Windows 7 sound driver needed

Hi, I'm looking for some advice
    I have a Toshiba Satellite A110-277, I bought a few years ago.

Ive fitted a new SSD and installed Windows 7 32 bit, which works very well - his flight. I am very happy.

I have problems with the sound that disappeard much then returns itself.

When I put windows 7 on the machine, the only factor that has had a problem has been the High Definition Audio, so I went on the Tosh site and look for the driver.

In Windows 7, there is no drivers so I used the XP driver and the noise began to work.

However, the sound disappears much intil I restart the laptop.

Is it a 32-bit driver including windows 7 for its edge?

Satellite A110 supports the Realtek audio chip.
The Realtek HD Audio driver can be downloaded directly from the Realtek driver download page:
    http://www.Realtek.com/

or you can also download and install the driver from Realtek Win 7 32 bit driver page Toshiba UE which was released for an another Toshiba laptop (Satellite A200):

  • Satellite Pro A40 - driver Windows 7 sound.

Hi, IM running Win 7 beta on one of my laptops, which is be a satellite pro a40.

Ive got everything right except the "multimedia Audio Controller" aka the soundchip and the display adapter, which doesn't really count that I can see the screen etc anyway.

Now all I really need are vista 32 drivers where they are compatible with windows 7 32 OS.

But I can't find anywhere and archive here only has win2000 and xp more, I tried both and no work.

    Help!

    Thank you

I think you should search for drivers if external websites on the Toshiba site are not drivers for Vista available.

As far as I know that the Satellite Pro A40 is equipped with an Intel graphics card and so you should find the driver on the Intel page
    [www.intel.com]

In addition, the laptop has a card his Analog Devices. I checked the manufactures Web site and in the [FAQ-area | http://forms.analog.com/Form_Pages/soundMax/soundMaxSupportFAQ.html#question1] I founded the following information:
    > SoundMAX provides no drivers or software directly to computer users. To download drivers, you must contact the manufacturer of your computer
You will not find a driver for the sound card, but maybe an another Toshiba notebook is equipped with the same sound card so that's why you can find a driver for Vista.
    Check it!

  • Omni27 1010ea: upgrade from Windows 10 sound problems

I have a subwoofer and in the sound dialog of windows, I managed to activate the 5.1 surround sound for the left, right, Center and Subwoofer speakers and test successfully.

When reading - if via youtube or windows media player, Center and subwoofer speakers are knocked out and only audible sound through left and right and levels I previously applied back to 50-50.

I had everyone working successfully on windows 7 without Beats Audio because it caused the volume to be erratic and I couldn't get a good range of base to use.

I tried to update the IDT high Definition Audio CODEC driver, who did not. The version of the driver that works is 6.10.6400.0

    Baffled.

    You are the very welcome.

    See if it works...

Download and install this free utility for files.  The 2nd listed file is 64-bit.

    http://www.7-zip.org/

Download but do not run the IDT audio driver I posted yesterday.

After downloading the audio driver file, right-click on it and select 7 - zip from the menu.

Have 7-zip extract of: and let it extract the files in the driver folder (sp59736).

Then go to Device Manager, click to expand the category of audio device manager video and game controllers, click IDT high Definition Audio CODEC device where you published the version of the driver for.

Click the driver tab.  Click on set to update driver.

Select her browse my computer for driver software option and find the driver 7-zip created folder.

Make sure that the include subfolders is selected and see if the pilot goes like this.

    Restart the PC.

  • Satellite A300-1NO - Realtek in Windows 7 sound card problem

    Hey guys!

    I have a laptop A300 1NO and trouble with realtek audio I installed Windows 7 (x 86, 32-bit) driver.
When I had Vista, I had 3 options to define how I want to record sounds. There was a microphone, microphone on the front and a "third option" which recorded the voices directly from the map its (perhaps waveout) and not by the microphones.

Now, I can not find the 'third option' (record sound directly from sound card) just two microphone options. I can see the devices deactivated and disconnected too, but it still does not show me the 'third option' :(

The freshly installed Win7 recognized my sound card and I got sound on that but he wasn't any icon 'realtek' in the control panel to change the preferences, as in Control Panel of Vista. I uninstalled it from the Device Manager, after that I install 6.0.1.5559 version (I've used it with vista x 86, 32-bit) but still the same problem...

I don't really know what to do...

    Hello

To be honest that I understand really what you would expect from an OS that is not released or not on the market yet...

It takes a few weeks or months more until the official drivers will be available for Windows 7. It s the same as on Vista and XP. After the liberation, most of the drivers have been released.

You can try some beta drivers for Windows 7 from the Toshiba page we.
But that's all you can do at the moment.
