  I was able to fix the problem by reinstalling windows using the Installation DVD of Vista. He did a "fresh" Reinstall. To do this you first have to set the BIOS to boot from the CD drive instead of the hard drive.

  I renamed my dbwalker existing (ver 2.14) and installed the latest version of dbwalker for unity 3.1.4 (3.0 build 90) and put it in the same directory as the old version, then it would become part of "filing tools". I get an error every time I start the program dbwalker (if it is selecting from the list of the "diagnostic tools" or go directly to the folder and run DBWalker. The pop-up says:

  The specified module could not be found.

  I have to click on the OK button then a few times 'X' of the error, then DBWalker interface opens and appears normal.   There are some DLLs that register you when you install dbWalker - they are used for things like grids and localized text and others - they get listed in the registry and there is a path to point to them.
