Windows Photo Gallery crashes
My windows photo gallery crashes - which means closing. I need to copy photos from the Gallery to another folder. It crashed almost seconds after I opened the program. How can I move the photos to the photo gallery to another folder without opening the application of photo gallery. I want to do this before you have to fix the app, just in case - so I do not lose my photos. Thank you.
Hi, thanks for your response. I will try the solution in the article, but I can't always find where photos are archived. I tried to look in the folder as you suggested, but my photos are not there. Other thoughts? I'm scouring the reader to find it but no luck so far...

You have a different user account that you can try the Windows Photo Gallery and see if you get the same error message? If you try with another account and don't get the message try going through the steps and see if it solves your problem.
a. click on the round of departure
b. type folder options in the search box, and then click the program folder Options
c. Select the view tab
d. in the window of advanced settings, under hidden files and folders, select Show files and folders
e. click OK
f. navigate to the following folder (% of user is the name of the account that has the problem):

g. copy all the files here to another location, such as a return to the top and then remove them from the directory of the Windows Photo GalleryOnce the files are deleted, try to start Windows Photo Gallery.

Hi TKav,
1 when was the last time it was working fine?
2. did you of recent changes on the computer?
I suggest that you check to see if the problem persists in safe mode.
Note: Display in safe mode wouldn't be good display drivers are disabled.
Start your computer in safe mode

Restart the computer to return to normal mode
I would also say that scan you SFC on the computer that would be a system file corrupt on the computer search and replace.
The analysis may take some time, so be patient. Windows allows to fix corrupt or missing files it finds. If the information of the installation CD is required to fix the problem, you may be asked to insert your Windows Vista installation CD.

In recent months, Gallery of photos Windows (and Live Photo Gallery) began crashing no particular reason - just when you browse the gallery. I tried to update the database, but it works for a short period. I read that the codecs can sometimes be a problem with video files, but I only installed the Vista Codec Pack. PC control is no longer the printer to print in color from the windows photo gallery
printer will receive the photo of the Gallery, but will only print in black and white. I printed a test page for my printer without going through the computer and it will print in color. Also, if I scan a picture and print it, it is printed in color, so I don't think that my printer is the problem. I think that my computer does not have my printer to print in color?
I think my problem is in the Windows Photo Gallery rather than on the computer that sends a command to the printer?
I recently had some viruses removed from the computer and I wonder if in the process of fixing that, the person at the other end may have changed the settings or something related to sending a command from the PC to the printer? Is this possible?
Hello
1. what operating system is installed on your computer?
2. What is the brand and model of the printer and the computer?
3. have you made changes on your computer?
If you are using windows 7, I suggest you to see link and check.
Choose printing options

I suggest provide you more information on the issue to help you further.
