  • Develop preset settings: after screening "updated" what happens to any existing references?

Test of the develop preset "update with current settings", I noticed that the existing images with reference to the screening of update do not change. If you click on the steps of the history associated with before and after then the image updates.

What is 'correct' or is this a bug? If this is correct, what is the point of "Update with current settings"?

Related question: what happens to the images making reference to a preset that it removes in the preset pane?

When a preset is created, it stores the current level of the parameters chosen at the time of creation; in the example below, the preset will be called CurrentPreset1 will store the current levels applied to the photo selected at the time the preset was created and in this case only store values corresponding to color and lens version Process Corrections.

To update the values stored in a preset, different levels need to be changed on the currently selected picture, and then "update with current settings" must be selected on the preset to update. So, the "update with current settings" update the preset itself with new values corresponding to values defined in the current photo and has nothing to do with the way in which it has been applied to the photos in the past. A preset is not related in any way to photos on which it is applied; a preset simply applies the values in the preset on the selected photo as if these same values must be entered manually for the selected photo.

My point exactly. It is precisely the kind of image where you need to display 100% adjustment to preview.

Any other report view will give you an overview of fake.

My guess is that saturation cannot be much increased here, since every single pixel is already close to full saturation.

  • All my files and pictures have been deleted and all my settings for my computer after windows update

Original title: update of Windows 8

All my files and pictures have been deleted and all my settings for my computer after the update of windows. I need some answers! Microsoft you need to find something to say to me. WTF! Your update has ruined my computer

    Shawn,

I think this isn't the Windows update that caused this problem. It could be something else the cause. Windows Update never removes any of your files and folders stored in the computer.

You can try a system restore to a previous point when the computer was working properly.

  • Windows Vista x 86, and Windows 7, losing by default settings of the printer after install updates day or end of remote session.

We have been troubleshooting this issue for a while and we didn't have a patch even if it's a known issue.  When a workstation is set up as a network printer, even if the default settings of Windows (xps document writer) has been removed, the workstation will lose the default settings of the printer after that remote desktop sessions or windows updates have been installed.

We tried MS FixIT and a registry mod that changes the order of the printers without success.

We are hoping that there is a fix available before finalize us our Windows 7 image for deployment.

    'NullPort' = 'None '.

In our reg mod, we have changed the position of the device at the same time Ne00 and Ne01 without having an effect on the loss of the default printer.  The mod set the default printer, but the settings do not stick.

I hope there is a fix for this, in addition to a logon script, because our users are on several remote sites.

    Hello

Try to check and restore the system...

  • No Internet after windows updated August 18.

No Internet after windows updated on August 18, to return from vacation.

System Restore to 8 August which worked yesterday and restored internet, but when you sign in today update windows automatically installed and once again no internet no access. Computer won't let me restore of the system now well I tried different dates - said the system restore could not replace the file (c: Windows) with the original copy of the restore point - an unspecified error has occurred in 0x80071a90.  Still no internet access.  Any ideas please?

The KB2705219 update could be the cause and uninstall that solved the problem for some users.

    But...

In another thread [my computer today installed windows 7 updates, but my internet has been lost.] But the network is visible. [what caused this?] a user has identified this notice - McAfee

Some customers may experience a loss of network connectivity and/or errors in McAfee Security Center after a recent update

While it remains the case that uninstall Win7 KB2705219 solved the problem for at least two users update, you might want to consider the McAfee fix, as appropriate. At least two users also reported having removed then reinstalled McAfee and their systems were back up & working properly afterwards.

I have McAfee, but the connection has started working again on its own so I thought I was clear of problems.  However, when I checked it says he was doing routine checks the updates in vain when I told it to do a manually.  So stick with McAfee without following their abduction - Reinstall procedure would have upgraded my PC at risk by not updated.  Actually, I removed and then installed Microsoft Security Essentials rather & my answer IE is faster I knew it [even though I had the Add-ons McAfee disabled for centuries].  My home network has survived without any new replacement set - firewall Windows just took the right settings without any complaint.

I had to run the MCPRT deletion a few times before and it caused a problem with the license if the PC was not connected to the internet during the abduction. Due cat of McAfee support reset their files in order to allow the relocation-reactivation. Here is their link cat - McAfee - media contains the link to the cat

  • Windows Update does not work after reset

    Hi guys,.

I had problems with a computer laptop lenovo so I did a reset of the system, and he started from scratch. Everything was going well until I tried to run updates about 20 have installed, but there is an another 80 that used.

When I try to download it says installation failed and when I restart the laptop he tried to confirgure updates and fails.

In addition to this he is originally an error with the tile apps that I said install windows 8.1 but you click on the ad of tile, nothing happens but other applications seem to be good and they are all updated as expected. Or sometimes you click on the tile of the app and it remains on the green screen with the circle past throughout but did not go forward.

I tried making sure that I am the administrator and nothing, Ive even did the output of sfc scan that reveals no problems but whe I official microsoft windows update troubleshooting, it says non-fixed recent updates installation problems, repair of Windows Update services and dependencies and it mentions the release of the sfc , but I already have the CFS scannow and there is no problem.

The only thing that happened with the most recent is that it took forever kept retrying until it failed and came back finally my system load upward, but strangely without saying that he has 3 updates appear to have installed because there is now only 77 I just can not understand.

Because I performed a system reset to factory settings and installed norton to protect there is nothing that could prevent updates, so any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Hi Gareth,

    1. What is the error message or an exact error code?

    2. what security software is installed on your computer?

    3. have you made changes on the computer before this problem?

  • Extremely slow/unnecessary Windows Update after system recovery.

    Hello

While trying to help a friend with her laptop, I encountered a small problem, which seems quite unique. After searching the ' net and the Knowledge Base, I'm about as clued in as when I started, that is to say not very.

    Machine: Satellite 1800 412 (Danish).

DID: Restore the system to zero back to XP SP1a (NSP).

Problem: After a complete system via the original recovery CD restore, Windows Update is running * extremely * slowly, or not at all, once it gets to the point where it scans for updates you need. So far, I've managed to get 1 downloaded an update, a little. As an update is attempted usage of the processor reaches a maximum at 100% and stay there until I abandon and hard restarts, since the machine is now almost useless and lazy point appear frozen.

Tried to: applied manually different updates downloaded directly from Microsoft, such as Internet Explorer 6 sp1, XP SP2 (DK), various updates and patches for XP downloaded and checked/tried to reinstall the drivers of Toshiba (they are updated). Verify that the systems boots properly with all recognized devices. Check the system clock. Searched the Toshiba KB, searched the Internet, searched the Toshiba support forum. Pulls hair in desperation. I have to have restored the system 4times intant to try different ways of patching the system with updates.

Special features: It is apparently * only * updated Windows, what causes this problem, and that after the first few, where he updates the Windows Update engine in Internet Explorer. Before that I'm trying to update the machine apparently functioning normally. I can surf, download, install and run programs and what not. (No, I did not visit suspicious websites.) If Windows Update runs automatically in the background / 'in the status bar', the same thing is happening: Machine suddenly becomes useless and stays that way.

The machine is on a local network behind one bulletproof OpenBSD firewall, no other Windows machines inside, so there is no chance of a quick infection of the network at the origin of the problem.

Unfortunately: Manually download and apply the patches aren't an option I want to activate the automatic updates before you return the machine back to its owner.

Hope some of you might have an answer to this one, because I have never known or heard of something similar before.

    Frank.

    Hello

There may be a possible for your problem. An attempt is an Installation from CD XP Win and New Installation of the tool of Toshiba s. check that the activity of process is that s OK, made a driver update and an update of the Bios on the side download Toshiba. http://EU.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com/cgi-bin/ToshibaCSG/download_drivers_bios.jsp

I hope this is a help to your problem.
