There was a virus on my laptop in the last two months. on the bottom taskbar, there's a red 'x' icon shield and whenever I try to go it takes me to the esentials Security page and he said: "the Security Center service is disabled" and it lights whenever I try to turn it on. also it doesn't let me access the internet or try to restore the laptop. I tried all solvents of spyware as spyware doctor and malware bytes, but it seems that I still have not had the problem again. help because this situation is greatly appreciated. Thank you

    Hello

One way to solve the problem would be to backup your important data (redundancy) and then re - install
Windows after formatting the drive. Check with the manufacturer of your system's support to see what you need to do
that (and you probably already have what is necessary). You can buy the installation discs for Windows in the system
machine cheaply if necessary since you already own windows.

    =====================================

Another method would be to ensure that the malware is detected and deleted with internet access being
    restored.

Try typing several times F8 as you start and select a Safe Mode with networking. If that works to proceed to the
methods below. (You can try wired access and wireless if you have both available). If this does not work
then use another computer to download the drivers and the necessary programs and transfer them to your machine
    on removable media.

It can be made repeatedly in Mode safe - F8 tap that you start, however you must also run them
    the Windows when you can.

Download malwarebytes and scan with it, run MRT and add Prevx to be sure that he is gone. (If Rootkits run UnHackMe)

You should get this tool and its updates via Windows updates - if necessary, you can download it here.

Always check in the Device Manager - tab drivers version you install actually shows up. This

  • Windows 7 starter, no internet access, WPA2 Enterprise Network

I use an Asus EeePC for the first time to work.  I replace my ibook apple that I had no problem with in the past. I entered the correct name for the network.  has selected WPA2-Enterprise, AES encriptación.  Using the PEAP authentication.  After entering my user domain\username and password, I connect to the network, but when I look at the network he says no internet access.  I can see my internal network and the computers.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you

    Hi Kbpipes,

First check the edition of Windows 7 installed on your computer, since you mentioned that you use the Windows 7 starter edition. Windows 7 starter edition will not be able to join the domain network. To join the domain network, you will need to install either Windows 7 Professional, ultimate edition.

Access the link below to learn more about the field of Assembly.

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/products/features/domain-join

To verify which edition of Windows 7 is installed on your computer, follow the steps below.

    1. Click Start.
    2. Right-click on computer and click Properties.
    3. Check the information on your computer.

However, you try to run the troubleshooter from network built into windows 7 and check if it can help solve you the problem of connection to the Internet.

Access the link below and follow the steps.

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/using-the-network-troubleshooter-in-Windows-7

You can also try to temporarily disable the security software of the computer and try to connect to the Internet. If you are able to connect to the Internet, you can contact the manufacturer of security software and check if you need to change the settings. Later, re-enable the security software.

Also, you can try to start the computer in safe mode with network and check if you can connect to the Internet. To boot to the desktop in safe mode with network keep tapping key F8 during restart. Once you see the option to start it in safe mode with select network and press ENTER.

Access the link to learn more about how to start the computer in safe mode: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/Start-your-computer-in-safe-mode

You can also contact your network administrator and check if there are settings that must be changed or configured to access the Internet.

Post back with the above information and let us know the result.

  • Should I really a firewall/av for virtual Windows XP, if the internet access is disabled?

I don't want to have to buy an additional license for the stuff I already have (Kaspersky Internet Security 2012) on my old Dell (not ready to give up, yet). I intend to buy/download a new Windows on my Dell software and download it on my Fantom external drive, then move this drive on my Mac to get it... or just download whatever it is (from my desktop Mac) directly on the external drive.

Oh... just to clarify, I have my internet access disabled on virtual Windows (available only from my Mac desktop access) and test to make sure that I couldn't walk around on the internet on Windows virtual. I can't. Yay! Additional note: no account invited; I'm the only user.

Have toyed with getting Intego Internet Security (I know; I probably do not need), but I think (pretty sure, based on the other info I've seen in the forums) will not help in Windows virtual.

[Which also begs the question... my current USB external hard drive (originally bought for my Dell) work on my Mac?] This is a rhetorical question and I'm going to figure this out for me as soon as I've finished using it (it has download something on my Dell, now) and connect the USB cable. ]

    Thank you!

Each physical or virtual machine/system must have appropriate protection.  If you don't what to pay money then install key products that offer at least a free version of one a.

As far as your external USB drive is concerned everything depends on what file system it is formatted with and then whether or not you have any 3rd system drivers of third-party files that support what OS X does not.  In other words if the drive is formatted with the FAT32 file system, OS X can read and write to it without problem.  If it is formatted using the NTFS file system, then by default OS X only can read but not write him even if there are third-party drivers that you can use to provide write support of NTFS.

  • Windows security alert

Two days ago a pop up not specifying it as Windows Security, said I had + 400 cases of spyware on my computer. I've accessed my security MS Support page, who recommended I download and run a Scan of emergency Ms.  I did this and within 6 hours, it all 700 000 + files analyzed and found absolutely no error file will be scheduled, no virus, spyware, malware, dracovenii or anything else undesirable or harmful to my system.  I also checked to make sure that my MS Security Essentials program was completely up to date. Yesterday, warning of security Windows icon in the lower, changed toolbar in red indicating that my anti-virus is disabled or that I have no virus protection.  Nobody knows what is happening and how I can fix the problem.  I have tried everything I can think of to turn the indicator on the pop up Windows Security Center virus protection, nothing helps.  I'd appreciate some advice, please and thank you.

  • After that Windows 7 conclusion "No Internet access" in the wireless network?

I have a USB wireless network card installed in my office. All judging by the "connected network" showed, that he manages to connect to my wireless router, with I can't visit all websites due to "free Internet access". Only if I move my router where (almost) no wall blocking the path between my office and the router, will be solved the problem.

There is no problems surfing the Internet using my laptop (Windows XP) and the iPad, which also connect to the router.

I don't know what "No Internet access" while "Connected network" appears. To understand this, perhaps I should know what Windows 7 draws the conclusion "No Internet access" to the wireless network.

Thank you, everyone. I managed to figure out the problem last night. With this document that I found by Googling, http://www.usb.org/developers/whitepapers/327216.pdf, I tried to disconnect my DVD ROM USB plugged next to my wireless network card and found that this really WORKED, although the DVD ROM is USB 2.0 instead of 3.0.

In addition, as Shawn "Cmdr" Keene [MVP] said, I really need to I ignore the message "connected network". I ran the Ipconfig/all command frequently and found that sometimes the IP address of my wireless network card was no longer * 192.168.0 and the gateway, and the IP addresses of the DNS servers are null, even if the message "Connected network" remained all the time.

Hope this helps others who also have this problem, even though my English is not very good. : )

  • How can I disable Windows security alerts?

I'm giving 2 computers as birthday presents for 2 young grandchildren to use for word processing and printing only.  They both taught by their parents that they will never be able to have computers in their bedrooms connected to the Internet.   Both computers are running Windows XP Pro version 2002 with Service Pack 3 OS.  It's annoying to have the pop-up WARNING "is your computer may be in danger..." "whenever a computer is started, especially since the closure of the message not always keep it to appear again.  Does anyone have a solution for this problem?

    Hi demckay7,

If you do not have to connect to the computer with the internet or any other devices that can infect computers, you can disable the security temporarily alert.

For more information, see: How to disable Security Center alerts

However, I recommend you to install security software on your computer andmake sure that you update the anti-virus software frequently so that it works correctly.

You can also download & install Microsoft Security Essentials on your machine.

Hope the helps of information. Please post back and we do know.
