  Hi guys that I really need help on this side with my laptop windows update error 8 0 x 80070490.

  Whenever I try to check updates the window freezes and when I try to troubleshoot it, it shows just two thing first of all, that there is an error that can be 0 x 80070490 and other issues, and both are shown as fixed.

I have observed that the convenience store looking for a folder c:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution while in windows folder there is a folder called C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution with both first capital letters.
