The malicious software removal tool does not use an installer. As a general rule, when you run the malicious software removal tool, it creates a temporary directory named at random on the root of the drive of the computer. This directory contains several files, and it includes the Mrtstub.exe file. Most of the time, this folder is automatically deleted after the tool to the end of execution or the next time that you start the computer. However, this folder may not always be automatically deleted. In these cases, you can manually delete this file, and this has no adverse effect on the computer.

Visit the Microsoft Solution Center and antivirus security for resources and tools to keep your PC safe and healthy. If you have problems with the installation of the update itself, visit the Microsoft Update Support for resources and tools to keep your PC updated with the latest updates.

  • Windows vista family 32-bit premium; bluescreen problem?

First of all, I'll go on what I've already tried:

    -Run multiple analyses of virus/malware/spyware
-Updated with windows updater/drivers as much as possible
-Wipe the computer and re-installed Windows vista (the projected Blue computer while installing Windows vista)

I got bluescreen viewer and in each of the minidump files, there is a file named "ntkrnlpa.exe" in each of them.  No matter how many times I Googled, I know really more about it now as I did when it first started to happen. (A month ago btw)

I found the results of other people having this same problem, but there has been no valid solution and if there is, it's for windows 7 and not vista.
At this stage, I can only assume, it's a hardware problem, but I hope I'm wrong, because I don't know where to start exactly what needs to be replaced.

One last thing, it started doing this, before we re-connected our internet.  After playing a demo of Peggle game, it blue screened, and from there, it only got worse.  Now, it will crash and random time which varies on youtube, to the execution of some of the games online.  If anyone needs to view the minidump files, please let me know how I can download my bluescreen Viewer could find because I do not know how.

    Huh?

Try to understand, taking the repeated mention, I guess you're saying that you have Windows Vista Home Premium (32 bit) and you do not have any audio.

Have you spent at the web page of the manufacturer of your computer support and their section downloads & drivers and got the last audio/HiFi drivers for your specific hardware?  They are those who produced and load of the equipment.

It depends on what caused the problem. The system could have hardware problems and need
repair. I would like to have a competent computer store look at the. And get the disc would be a
    good idea.

"It is a serious mistake and"may"not be fixable without professional technology support of.
a real computer store (not the leeks and the glances at a BestBuy or other BigBox stores) or your

my task manager on windows vista family premium does not show the tabs it used to, when I used to open the Task Manager it would be things like 'process' 'services' 'preformance' ect. in the tabs. but now when I open it it shows just a window that has two columns, one labeled task, and other labeled status. It shows what im running, but there any options at all as the winger treat ect. the window is not even an exit or minimize the icon as other windows are in the upper right. the only way to close it alt f4 do - what I do? I have a screenshot of the new manager of task here: http://i1119.photobucket.com/albums/k621/a_bakedpotato/vistataskmanagerisue.jpg

Looks like you may have a virus or other malware. Get your updated antivirus program and boot into Safe Mode. Note that some viruses can hide from your normal antivirus program, so you really need to scan in Safe Mode. To enter in Safe Mode when you turn on first, press F8 on every seconds until you get the menu, and then select Safe Mode. Then run a complete system scan.

If that suits him fine. If this is not the case, use system restore to go back to an earlier date at the beginning of the problem. To run system restore, click Start-> programs-> Accessories-> System Tools-> system restore. Click on the box that says show more restore points.

You can check the corrupted system files. Open an administrator command prompt and run SFC if the above does not help. Click START, and then type sfc in the search box, right-click to SFC. EXE and click run as administrator. Then, from the command prompt type sfc/scannow.

Finally if all else fails, you can look at the rather cryptic system event log. To make, click Start-> Control Panel-> administration-> event viewer tools. Once in Event Viewer system log-click and scroll entries looking for these "error" with indicator see if you can find guidance on where the problem may be.

    Hi Bill,

You can try the following steps and check:

    Method 1:

Connect the HTC Fuze to the computer, and then run the fixit and see if that makes a difference.

Automatically, he diagnoses and fixes problems with the hardware. (USB) Keyboard and mouse are not detected by the Manager of devices or when they do not work.

    Method 2:

If method 1 may not then try the following:

If you are running Windows Vista 32 - bit, then Uninstall and reinstall the same.

Microsoft Windows Mobile Device Center 6.1 for Windows Vista (32-bit)

    Steve

    Let me soce entry details:

    1. all computers need to have at least one administrator account. It will not work without it.
It does NOT, however, create a profile For YOU defaultAdmin. It belongs to the user or the owner to create and decide who is Admin, and who is a regular user.
    2. even an admin account will not get to install and change the settings automatically. UAC (user account control) always appears to ask for confirmation of the task by clicking on continue, or by typing the admin password.
3 be the main user is not to be an administrator. It is up to the user/owner of the computer to be configured as such.
That said, now my question... How do you know that you're not an admin?

    Yes.

HOW TO activate features Windows turn on or off
    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/turn-Windows-features-on-or-off

You can not uninstall IE8 on Windows 7, but you can disable access to it (for example, to disable IE8). Similarly, you cannot reinstall IE8 in Windows 7, but you can reactivate access to him (i.e., turn on IE8).

If it's a Win7 64-bit computer, you have two versions of IE8: IE8 64 bit (the default) and IE8 32 bit. See this previous discussion: http://social.answers.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/InternetExplorer/thread/babaa5f8-ff06-4ea2-aef6-a9416d65f981
