Windows updates driver Nvidia and Nvidia Control panel stops working

I was choosing to update the video card myself with the latest driver 310.09 being installed, and everything was fine. Then I started having "failed to initialize Nvidia Control Panel, you don't have permission to access or access denied errors at startup and to the continuation of the investigation I found updated encrypted files (c:\windows\system32\nvcpl.dll being one of many) and a Nvidia driver recent 311 already in the section updates installed windows from the control panel."

Now, I have no Nvidia Control Panel, but I managed to roll back the driver to 310.09, but still with no possibility to install driver 314, or remove any previous version using uninstallers. I'm stuck in the middle with nowhere to go!  I want my back Nvidia Control Panel, and I hate error messages!

Intel i5 processor 3770 3.4Gig

GT video card 620

Windows 8 Pro / clean install

16 gig Ram

1 T HD

Problem not solved! When I did the screen went black, with me ends up having to re-start, the machine came back, and before I can do anything Windows back to or downloaded 311 driver and I'm at square one. Impossible to uninstall any Nvidia or reinstall anything Nvidia.

If Windows will update a 3rd party driver why it deletes the old software first. Now I have the supplied Windows driver 311 mixed with the old Nvidia provided 310 software update! It's no wonder that nothing works!

Sorry to here that you still have the problem...

  • PPPro cs5 and NVIDIA Control Panel driver

In one of the threads earlier someone said that when they went to the Nvidia Control Panel they only saw PPpro CS4 listed and no CS5. I have the same problem. Is this a problem? Of course, it is a hack of a GTX 480 version. Thanks again once Roman I should however say it works!

No, it's a limitation of the nVidia Driver has no consequences. She simply search the file "Adobe first Pro.exe" regardless if it's CS4 or CS5.

  • Zbook 17, Quado610M GPU. NVIDIA Control Panel does not settings.

    Hello

I have a zbook with a graphic of 610 m nvidia quadro. I can't have the gpu to save the settings or when you play. It worked until I tried to try windows 8.

I did a fresh install of windows 8. Then I installed the drivers cd provided with the workstation hp. All that said she completed successfully and I rebooted several times.

When I open the nvidia Control Panel, none of the settings I change stick. For example tell each program to use the 610 m. I click on apply it looks like it is cracked. However, if I open the nvidia Control Panel, even once, all changes are returned. I rebooted after hitting applied too. No matter what changes are, they all come back.

I'm guessing that I messed up the installation of driver or something but IDK.

Device Manager indicates that the 610 m works correctly and the driver is up do date. Any ideas on what to do?

It turned out to be a driver problem.  I don't know if I have installed the incorrect drivers or something.

I updated to 8.1 and reinstalled the drivers. Works fine now.

  • DEP continues to kill the heart of Nvidia Control Panel

The indication audio connection/disconnection of equipment is back and is not related to physical connections on the PC.  Noise interferes with other audio activity.  The D2IKTYPEhog is back at work. DEP continues to kill the heart of Nvidia Control Panel.  I feel that these three elements are somehow related as they seem to join the line of March.  First started to connect/disconnect and apparently ended when I tightened connections, then the DcomLaunch starts and went after the removal of some malicious programs, then DEP began acting in place soon to be joined by DcomLaunch and now connect/disconnect.

    Hello

To use nVidia 3D Vision, you will need to set the projector at 120 Hz
You can do this in display properties
Control Panel-> appearance and personalization-> display.

In addition you must set the GPU nVidia as a default value for specific programs to use 3D on 120 Hz disaply external.

Start-> Control Panel-> nVidia Control Panel.
Now, expand 3D category settings and select manage 3D settings.
In the program settings tab, select a program that needs to use the nVidia GPU (required for 3D) map

Now select the GPU for this program.

  • T430: Cannot change the GPU using the NVIDIA Control Panel

    Hello world

I recently bought a T430 including a NVIDIA NVS 5400 M. games graphics card (for example, Max Payne 3) used to run fast, using the NVIDIA GPU. Today, I tried to play a video game once more (after having not played for several weeks). Unfortunately, my OS (Win7, 64-bit) assigns the GPU from Intel, resulting in a much lower speed. Using the NVIDIA Control Panel, I can't change my favorite GPU (changes will not be saved). I already run a update of Lenovo and installed the latest graphics driver (296.88), which resulted in no improvement.

When you start a game, I can choose my graphics manually, but I would like to configure some general settings using the control panel.

    Do you have any solutions?

    Thank you very much.
