Windows Video Maker question

Hello

I use Win XP Pro and Movie Maker that comes with it. I installed a Firewire card in my PC Tower, and using an iLink cable, I managed to create and edit a video in WMV format.

However, I can't watch it on my DVD player because he doesn't "see" MP3 files, so I need to convert my WMV movie to a movie MP3 (only audio no).

Is there any free software that lets you convert the whole (1.4 GB) movie.

Thank you very much

Bluenose

MP3 isn't the answer, because it is an audio format.

Publish (save each song as an individual). Film WMV in Movie Maker.
Save them to a folder on your hard drive. Then import the collection

    =========================================
VOB are the video files to a DVD-video... (they have all of them).

First... I suggest you copy the VOB files to a folder on your
hard drive. (If you cannot copy the VOB files... successfully the)
    DVD may have copy protection)

If you are under Vista Home Premium or Ultimate... try to import
VOB in Movie Maker files because they are... If this does not work... rename
    they .mpg and try again...

If it still fails, you will need to convert the files to WMV format.
There are many converters available on the net... the following

    (b) what operating system do you use?

    (d) what is the original file of the film format (.avi, etc.)?

The issue could be caused by audio and video filters. Please see the link below.

  • Windows Movie Maker - sound only, no video is displayed

Using the Director to download my video noise is get recorded. Black screen is displayed on the video section. Any ideas on what I am doing wrong? I checked the help on the program and measures diplay window all correctly until I try to capture the segment, then no video.

Whenever you get a black screen for video and audio played correctly, this means that you do not have the right video codec installed on your computer. To solve this problem, the simplest method is to install an application called MediaInfo on your computer, so that you can analyze the video file and see which codec you need to install. This tutorial on sound with no picture in Windows Media Player mentions the problem, that is the question even if it occurs in Windows Movie Maker or Windows Media Player.

  • Windows Movie Maker will not publish my videos properly!

Hey guys. anyway I publish a video Director and 15 Minute long play through it fine, but after its publication, and I watch the video file it freezes at the same image (the media player does not freeze, he continues to play through, the video comes out badly) and all the audio stops and then the screen blacks on entirely for the rest of the video. Does anyone have a solution to this? I'd appreciate any help. Thank you

  • Sync audio/video Windows Movie Maker problem

When you use Windows Movie Maker 5.1 to capture video from my Panasonic PV-GS39 DV camera, audio is 15 seconds ahead of the video.  Anyone know what is the cause or how to fix it?  No other programs are running at the time of the capture.

    Windows Movie Maker 5.1
    Windows XP Service Pack 3

It is difficult to say why Windows Movie Maker would be to have this problem, but my recommendation would be to eliminate it from the video capture process. There is an excellent free program called WinDV you can use to capture video on your computer, then you can change using Windows Movie Maker, once the capture is complete. Video capture questions can be exasperating. Along with other instructions of troubleshooting, I explain why you might want to use WinDV in a tutorial on video troubleshooting.

  • Video clip with file extension 3gpp converted to wmv but no audio in Windows Movie Maker

I have a video clip taken from a cell phone with file extension 3gpp.  I converted it to a wmv file using software downloaded using an XP operating system.

Thank you for your interest and your answer to my question.  I was actually able to do something with it that I managed to import a file to convert 3gpp in Windows Movie Maker.  Here's what I did as others who may have the same problem currently or in the future, try:

Initially, I converted a file video in a .wmv file 3gpp and tried to import the Windows Movie Maker.  The video is imported, but is not the audio.  I converted the same file video 3gpp in one file .avi and it imported into the Windows Movie Maker project that I did and it worked! The .avi video and audio imported and played without any problems.  Thanks again for your response.

    Hi laura234646,

Did you check if the problem occurs with another drive?

This problem may be caused by audio\video filters present on the computer.

Step 1: I suggest that disable you video filters and driver, to do this, follow these steps:

    Director of open windows,

    1. click on Toolsand then click Options.

    2. click on the compatibility tab.

    3. to turn off a filter, clear the check box next to the name of the video filter.
