Don't you think that someone will take you seriously?

Just a tip: If you want to ask something to let people know what model of laptop you have exactly. All laptops are not supported for 64 bit Vista operating system.

  • I removed Windows Vista 32-bit and Windows Vista 64-bit installed, but when I enter the key it says the key is already in use. How can I fix it?

I have Windows Vista Ultimate 32 and 64 bit edition

I bought Windows Vista Ultimate 32 and 64 in a box in 2008, I installed the 32 edition because at the time I was told not all software will work with the edition 64 a month ago, I decided to windows 7 Ultimate Via Amazon purchase which proved be a copy of the counterfeit money and Amazon me has now repaid , so what I do, well I could buy another copy of windows 7 Ultimate or I could give the other Version of windows that came in the same box with a product key a go, so I removed and formatted the hard drive and reinstalled 64 bit version on my drive using the product key original that I used on the 32-bit Edition for four years and when I try to register the 64 bits edition, that is to say someone else using this product key, you will have to buy another key or a copy of windows 7. Well, I decided to wait until Windows 8 will be released, that's why I decided to try the Vista 64 - bit Edition?

Or better yet, I might switch to a Mac OS x system?

The answer is not to buy Windows 7 from a dealer on the market of Amazon.  Stick to Amazon itself.  Amazon Marketplace is as eBay and other auction sites and online delivery.  It is composed of persons whose practices sales are questionable.  You won't get counterfeit product from Amazon itself.

You have to solve the problem with Vista 64-bit using phone activation.

Activate by phone.  http://TechNet.Microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc736912 (WS.10) .aspx

Or click Start and type ' slui.exe 4.

Do not answer all prompts automatic until it asks you if you want to speak to an agent.

If you continue to have problems with activation, run the MGADiag (download and save to the desktop - http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=52012 ) tool

Once downloaded, run the tool. Click on the button continue, after a short time, continue button will change to a copy button. Click the copy button in the tool (ignore the error at this stage) and then paste (with r-click and paste or Ctrl + V) in your message.
  • Can I upgrade Windows Vista 32-bit to Windows Vista 64 - Bit and preserve everything?

I have a computer with Windows Vista 32 - Bit OS.  I have also 4 GB of RAM, but as the OS is 32-bit, he acknowledges that 3 out of 4 GB.  So, my question is, can I upgrade to a version 64 bit Vista and preserve files and programs, or what I have to buy a copy of Windows Vista 64-bit?

    Thank you

    Hello.

No.; You cannot switch from 32-bit to 64-bit.

It must be done with a new installation of the 64-bit operating system.

There has never been a way to upgrade.

You should backup your data, copy it into the 64 bit OS and reinstall all your programs

    Microsoft sells more than Vista.

And before you buy Windows 7:

Go to your computer / computer laptop manufacturer Web site and see if Windows 7 drivers are available for your make and model computer / laptop.

If this is not available, Windows 7 will not properly work for you.

Run the "Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor.

  • Qosmio F50 - 10G - Windows Vista 64 bits and drivers

    I use Qosmio F50 - 10g to end 20 days now.
It has 32-bit operating system on and I think that there is still no support for 64-bit drivers.

If I'm not wrong x 305 series have support of 64-bit drivers and configuring two laptops are similar.
I was hoping to create a 64-bit backup Dvd, but there is no 64-bit, if I'm not mistaken on my pc.

So any suggestions regarding the use of 64-bit on those computers drivers?
Or should I just wait for Toshiba to release 64-bit drivers?

    THX.

    Hello

It seems that, at the moment, only the BIOS and the BT stack was published for Vista 64 bit OS.
But I'm sure other drivers 64 bit Vista will be released in the near future.

So I would recommend waiting until the 64-bit drivers are online!

  • Windows 7 64 bit and AHCI support on DC7800 convertible minitour?

    Hi guys.

I have an old HP DC7800 (it actually says DC7900 on the box, but several said firmwares is a dc7800 for some odd reason...) minitour convertible that I use at home, running Windows 7 Enterprise 64-bit.

I put an SSD in this PC and when I went into the BIOS to find AHCI settings it shows only RAID and IDE.

Now, I read about it in this forum and this guy is that he works with Intel Matrix Storage Manager (RAID drivers), but it was Windows Vista. However, I am on Windows 7.

What I can find there are simply no drivers for this on Windows 7.

    Anyone have experience with this?

Would be sweet to get this working...

    Thank you in advance.

    You are the very welcome.

I did some basic research on SSDS and disk controller settings.

I installed my first (and only) SSD in a HP Elitebook 6930p who owns the AHCI mode.

I played with the idea of putting one in my dc7800 as you did and of course I would have had my speed on the RAID controller, but I found some interesting links I posted for your reading pleasure.

Since you don't have the choice to choose AHCI, you would probably be OK in IDE mode if you find absolutely change the controller and reinstall the OS a real pain.

Do some research on Google more.  There is a pretty good amount of links out there on this.

For me, it would be more important to have a mechanical drive, set the RAID SSD RAID that supports native command queuing too, as far as I know.

An SSD does not turn to find the data as a mechanical drive only.

Here is an interesting link on the NCQ.

If you have problems with the recovery of the manufacturer of the computer media, you will need to contact them.

It is their software/recovery process, not Microsoft.

If it is a Microsoft Vista DVD you use, here's a guide to do a clean install:

Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.

At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu

  • How can I download for my sony dcr-dvd403 pmb to windows vista 36 bit

looking for software for downaloda pmb for windows vista for sony dcr dvd403 handycam

looking for software for downaloda pmb for windows vista for sony dcr dvd403 handycam

You have Windows Vista 32-bit and a Sony DCR-DVD403 with LCD 2.7 "...

According to the Windows Vista for Sony DCR-DVD403 Compatibility Center the device itself is compatible without any intervention on your part.  Support for any third party hardware or software is always from the hardware manufacturer or software.  It is their place to ensure that their hardware and software are compatible with the operating systems their customers use (or not to do - put an end to their support for said product and basically stating that produced a legacy package/device).

Visit Sony support web page and put in your camera model after you have selected the option for downloads, it takes a place where you can select various downloads.  Simply choose 'Windows Vista' in the menu drop-down "Select an Operating System.  Then it expans show several possible downloads to support this device in Windows Vista, including updates of Picture Motion Browser and Picture Package Sony feeding with their products.  Here are a few updates - so you will need to have a version already installed.

Notes for the Motion Picture Browser declares, "this utility updates PMB versions 1.1 to 5.8.01 and Cyber-shot Viewer version 1.0, PMB version 5.8.02..."- so I think it is reasonable to assume that, as long as you have an installed version (from the CD that came with your camera), you can use this update to bring it up to State fully patched.  Sony offers a link if you need to buy replacement CD for those that you should have received with your product.  Wow - 30 USD - they are proud of their software.  You may have more luck that many others in the research that a download legitimate to PMB is that you do not have your original CD...
