Windows vista administrator account
Hello
I GOT "ERROR CODE 5 ACCESS DENIED."
WHEN I WAS TO BUILT-IN-ADMINISTRATOR ACCOUNT IN WINDOWS VISTA USING THIS COMMAND.
'NET USER ADMINISTRATOR $ASSW0RD' AFTER THAT YOU PRESS ENTER.
Help, please
Hi pooja2nd,
Thank you for taking the time to post.
If you want to enable the built-in Administrator account, then you'll do the following:
· Click the Start button on the desktop
· In the search box, type cmd (do not hit enter)
· Make a right click cmd.exe and select run as administrator
· Type net user administrator / Active: Yes
After seeing a message that the command completed successfully, log off and now on the login screen you should see the built in admin account. By default, there no configuration password, so if you want to use the built-in account, make sure that you set a password. To disable the built-in account, type the following:
Type net user administrator / active: No.
If I misunderstood your message, please let us know with a little more detail on what you want.
Thank you

If you tried to log on to Windows and received an error message telling you that your user profile is damaged, you can try to fix it. You will need to create a new profile and then copy the files from the existing to the new profile. You must have at least three user accounts on the computer to perform these operations, including the new account that you created.

Original title: deleted Vista ultima. admin identity and admin authorization password for standard users will not work.
I inadvertently deleted the admin. identity, I think in Vista Ultima. The photo shows still on the identities, but when I try to open the identity I get the following message, "user profile service service has no logon. User profile cannot be loaded. The admin. password does not work in any of the other identities now, so I can't do updates to most of my programs, such as windows. I can't open the control panel to add and change of identity.
Hi JBRA47,
You can consult the following Microsoft KB article and check if it helps to solve the problem:

Windows XP administrator account disabled
My XP Pro windows local administrator account is disabled and the password is changed every time that I reboot.
Work around currently I am using is connecting to another admin account on the same machine and activate the real administrator account and reset the password each time. It's summer happening since I installed the latest Automatic updates of Windows last week.Help, please.Well, this account is damaged in any way.
What is the standard admin or a user account with the privilege of admin account?
in all cases, the alternative I would use is to create a new account and give him Admin priviledge.
Then reboot and let windows configure the new admin account.
Then, right-click on the Start button and click Explore.
This will take you to the section where the user accounts.
Then explore the old / dysfunctional account and copy its contents into the new user account that you just created.
I would not copy the files.
Simply copy the files and shortcuts, and links from the old to the new.
It can be tedious to do the above, but its 'probably the best way to back up your data.
either way, current account, you use this time for this analysis should not be changed at this time. That's why I suggest to create a new brand and rebuild using the data from the old account.
the foregoing is a measure of security, just in case that the new admin account is damaged as the former. If Yes, then you have to use again as a stable connection.

Windows Vista, administrator password, does not
I had the windows administrator password since I bought my laptop about a week, there is the password no longer works, (no one has changed the password). Finger printer reader, my impression, finger reads me the green check mark, and then displays the incorrect user name or password. Dell has no help nor Microsoft, called the two, both passes the question to the other. I have many family photos and some documents I want to turn off my computer, I can't get them because of the password, I bought a case that Dell said to do, it does not fit my hard drive. Can someone tell me how to bypass my password so that I can get at my photos or what I can do to at least get my photos in the admin account that is displayed in my full name. I tried to type in the command prompt, and nothing works, please any help, I would be so grateful... Dell and Microsoft told me, there's a way to get around, but they cannot help doing it on my own computer.
Hello
Donna I don't know how the fingerprint reader interacts with the opening of session if it is an assumption. This method
works on systems without the reader of fingerprints and perhaps on your system when used in conjunction with
your fingerprint reader. Hope it's useful. If this is not enough you are no worse off as you are now.
Try this - use the hidden administrator account to lower your user account (to the lowest level) APPLY/OK
then go back and reset it to the Admin APPLY/OK - this clearly allows corruption. Do this several times.
Then fix the password in your usual account. Do not forget to leave your account administrator if you
wish.Make another Admin account with your password and use it to fix the others if necessary. (just for
repair, don't use regular account, not a safety valve) always keep a spare ADMIN account.DO NOT LEAVE THE ENABLED LSA OR USE DAILY. If it corrupts you are toast!

I have the same problem exactly as described Flashimator don't except this: the problem occurs only when I am logged into the administrator account. Support seems to work normally in my user account.
I should add that my HP laptop has an OEM program which seems to be an overlay on the Windows Help. It is also not available in the administrator account.

Thank you.
PS It is often more important to have help available when logged in as an administrator as I do only when I have to (as in the resolution of problems).

Windows Vista administrator issues
Help, please! I just bought a new computer, and somehow, I'm not the administrator! I tried everything I could think of it won't let me edit my account or log in as administrator. I was going even to reinstall Vista but I can't do either because I'm not the administrator.
Hi Dreaneni
If there is no administrator account on the system, you should be able to boot in Safe Mode and use the built-in Administrator account. This account is designed to be used in emergencies when no other administrator accounts are available.
It is a simple procedure, step by step, but it's long. Print this message before you continue.
Click the button start .
On the bottom right side of the Start menu, click on the arrow icon.
In the context menu, select restart. As soon as the screen goes black, start typing the F8 key.
Keep tapping the button until a black screen with white lettering appears.
It comes to the Start screen.Safe mode should be highlighted.
If safe mode is not highlighted, use the arrow keys to select this option.
Press the ENTER key.The computer should start at the login screen. (Be patient, this may take a few minutes)
The login screen, you should see an account named administrator.Click on the administrator of account.
There is no password for this account, then the computer should boot directly into Safe Mode.
(Again, be patient, it will take a few minutes)The screen will look strange, because it is diagnostic for Windows mode.
Once the desktop appears, you are now logged with full administrator privileges.
Go to Start , then click Control Panel.
On the left side of the Control Panel window, click the Classic view menu item. After the update of the screen, scroll down and double-click user accounts.
In the user accounts screen, click Manage another account.
Select the name of the account that you connect normally. In the Edit window, select change the account type.
In the window choose a new type of account , click the administrator option.
Click Change the account Type .Exit control panel and restart the computer.
The account that you use should now be an administrator account.
Let us know the results.

"The user profile service failed the log - on" problem of Windows XP administrator account
OK, so my mom is unable to log on to his profile on Windows XP Home Edition. She has both the administrator account. When she tries to connect, you will see the above error message. My brother can log into his account without problem.
My mother told me that she had initially gone on ITunes and downloaded 3 things that the program said she needed. When she went to reboot his computer according to the instructions, she received this error message and cannot connect.
She then guest account and was able to remove the 3 programs, but nothing helped. If anyone has any ideas, it would be appreciated. This is the Windows program that is already installed on the computer.
I tried to search in the forums, but it's a little confusing. She got also never all warnings "temporary profile".
Thank you!
Looks like the user profile is damaged. To allow for the recovery, you will need to log in with an administrator account. If your MOM was the only administrator account, try starting mode safe mode (F8 at startup) and log in as user 'administrator '. The default value is the empty password. After that, follow the steps in the following article:
