Windows Vista deleted WiFi software.

I think I erased my software for my player with band wifi.
How can I get that back without my disk. Tried to restore any restore points.

Is there a way for you to scan my computer on the internet?
If so could you? I am currently using a Belkin external antenna.
This can affect anything?

Please answer as soon as possible. Thank you.

Hello

Looks like you wouldn't have a big computer experience.

First of all it s interesting to know which laptop model you have.

Secondly I m wondering why you think you erased the WLan driver?
Go to Device Manager and check if the wireless adapter is listed in the network adapters.

If you could see the wireless card WLan driver is installed correctly.

  • Windows Vista think the C drive is full

I'm trying to help my mother claire on the space on his computer. It is currently running Windows Vista Home Premium 64-bit, drive C is 140 GB. Yesterday, she showed that she had about 5 GB of free, this morning it had fallen less than 1.5 GB. I ran the disk cleanup tool, deleted temporary files and SR shadow copies and got it for free up to 2.47 GB.

We went through all the programs that are installed the other day and uninstalled everything that it does not work. Under uninstall programs, I added all the space used by programs and came with 10.17 GB. When I open the C drive to view the files, all totaled, I can explain 26,44 Go, more de.4058 MB.

Take the free space, I could clearly account, it is mysteriously full approx. 100,92 GB and I'm not. I've crossed the road and does not know where it is used.

The size of the base operating system Windows Vista on my Aspire 3680 2682 is larger than 20 GB, is this normal?

    Hello

    Yes; It's normal.

In addition to the original operating system, you have updates, restore points of the system (set at 15% of the capacity of the hard drive) etc, etc.

    It will continue to grow.

  • My Windows Vista computer does not see the network or printers that are connected to a computer using Windows XP

before that norton was installed, it worked, but since Norton was installed AND DELETED, Vista will not see XP or its printers.

I have checked the firewall and they took two computers, but still no luck.

    Hello

    Did you change your computer?

This problem occurs if the (LLTD) link layer topology discovery Responder component is not installed on the Windows XP computer.

Network card in Windows Vista makes network diagrams of connections between network devices that can be used to troubleshoot connectivity issues. Network map uses a discovery protocol called Link-Layer Topology LLTD (Discovery) that queries other devices on the network to determine how the network is organized.

Windows Vista includes the software components that implement the LLTD protocol. For other devices on the network to display on the map, they must activate a discovery protocol that can meet the demands of mapping from the Windows Vista-based computer.

I suggest you to install the update on windows XP.
