* Original title: upgrade
I want to upgrade to a newer Windows operating system Windows Vista Home Pro 64-bit. What is the recommended procedure? I see that Windows 7 or 8, a free update to Windows 10 is offered. Should I buy 7 or 8 then you spend 10 or just buy 10?
Thank you
Jim
Hello
Depends on hardware configuration required on later operating systems, and also find out if the manufacturer of the laptop computer is supported and provides drivers for operating systems later as to whether it is possible or feasible to upgrade or not.
There is no free upgrade Vista to 7, 8.1, or 10.
Follow these steps before you buy Windows 7.
Microsoft sells more than 7; Try Amazon.com.
Go to your computer / computer laptop manufacturer Web site and see if Windows 7 drivers are available for your make and model computer / laptop.
If this is not available, Windows 7 will not properly work for you.
Run the "Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor.

Windows vista home basic service pack1 and windows vista Home premium service Pack 2
I WANT TO UPDATE WINDOWS VISTA HOME BASIC, WINDOWS VISTA HOME PREMIUM TO MY NEW LAPTOP TO MY OLD LAPTOP. Can I update my laptop which has windows vista home basic service pack1 installed using my laptop which has windows vista Home premium service pack 2 by using a transfer program for example windows easy transfer? HOW CAN I DO THIS?
Hi ronnieVron,
Your copy of Windows is only allowed for 'a machine If you want to put Vista Edition home premium on your 'old laptop"you can buy a new copy of Vista premium. Another point is that copies of Windows was probably preinstalled on your laptop, which means that, putting license on one side, your copy is related to each specific laptop and so, because the copy is related to the material on each laptop, you would have problems on other transfer machine. Anyway you could invalidate your Windows license.

How to get the source to windows vista Home premium recovery is not from the recovery partition and gives me an error message
Hello
Contact the computer manufacturer and ask them to send you to vista recovery disks to reinstall the operating system back as it was when you bought it
they do it for a nominal cost of $
or borrow a vista microsoft dvd; not a HP, Acer recovery disk etc
Make sure that you borrow the correct 32-bit or 64-bit microsoft dvd to your computer
they contain all versions of vista
This is the product key that determines which version of vista is installed

It happened about 10 days ago, and about 2 days ago popped up validation error w / error OxC0000022 code, can not find these codes anywhere. I have a black desktop. This computer was my daughters before she settled in the West, and I know that she had problems with the validation before I remember to tell him something about this, it was a bear, she had to get help from MS to help. But it is very difficult to get in touch with him and I don't want her to think that old dad don't know what hes doing. I installed the virus and malware and a few budget programs the wife play WOW on it but, despite this, it is working long hours. My daughter had updated Automatic, disabled, looks than year and a half she had it when I turned on updates it took several days to catch up.but which was about three months ago. Like I said that happened about 10 days before he gave not me all the problems of the six months that I got it. Any help would be appreciated.
