  • Windows vista installation disc does not start.

    So I decided to wipe my hard drive and do a clean install of windows vista. It was working fine until after you have installed sp1. I restarted the computer, and there's just a black screen. I tried to launch the installation disc. He manages to pass the Microsoft corporation loading screen, the cursor appears and I can move it, but the screen remains black.

    When I reinstalled windows it says that the hard drive can fail quickly, so that he might be. If this is the case then I'll just disassemble the laptop and get a few parts.

    Hello

    If you got this message hard disk, perform a test of it.

    If it failed, you can always replace the hard drive and reinstall Vista, instead of demolition it.

    Go to the website of your computer manufacturer > search your computer specifications > know brand of hard drive > access the Hard Drive manufacturer's Web site > find and download hard drive Diagnostic software and make a record of start of it on the computer that you use to get here, following their instructions > test your hard drive to see if it has failed.

  • Windows Vista installation disc: Black screen with a cursor and then nothing happens

    A blue screen appears when I try to start Windows and I'm trying to fix the computer through my installation disc I have. But when I try to run my Vista disk installation happening by loading the files fine. It then shows a black screen with a mouse cursor that moves. After that, nothing happens even if I leave it for hours to sit. It is a real disk Installation of Microsoft for Vista.

    If a clean installation of a real Installation of Vista disc does not work, then you probably have some kind of hardware problem (and the blue screen, you got before makes this even more likely).  You can try to do some troubleshooting on your own hardware, but frankly you probably put "t have tools or spare parts to do very much.  Here are some instructions that may help:http://elephantboycomputers.com/page2.html#Hardware_Tshoot.

    If this does not work, then I suggest that you take it to a repair shop of computer with a good reputation for the service where they can troubleshoot, diagnose, identify and possibly repair or replace the problem.  Before you import it in, I suggest that you protect your important data, as it is likely that they will wipe the hard drive clean in the process.  You can use Knoppix http://www.knopper.net/knoppix/index-en.html with a good ISO as Copier: http://isorecorder.alexfeinman.com/isorecorder.htm as well as a blank CD.  This should hopefully give you enough access to the system (if you do not have any other means) to backup your important data.  Otherwise, slave the drive to another computer and copy the data in this way.

    I'm sorry, we can not help more, but from your description there is no option of software if you do not have to do a clean install of an Installation of Vista genuine disc.

    I hope this helps.

    Good luck!

  • Creation of Windows Vista installation disc

    I want to know how to create a Vista 32-bit (Home premium) for an Acer Aspire 7720z installation disc. My stupid Acer laptop doesn't have any kind of disk and a partition to factory settings. I actually intend to install linux, but I want vista dual boot and the main problem is that the hard drive has no partitions. so to install linux I need to reformat the hard drive but I always feel like vista then I will need to reinstall. is it possible to create a record of the whole installation for this with all the drivers installed already? Also, I heard that it is entirely legal to have a copy of the installation. Please let me know if this is true, until I still continues. So as you can guess I'm not a recovery disk, a record of the whole installation.

    Hello

    I already told you how to find the recovery partition, IF it exists

    If there is no partition, you cannot create it

  • I formatted my hard drive and can't find my windows vista installation disc, can I download it?

    x 32-bit

    If your vista is preinstalled and you still have the PK on your COA, borrow from someone different windows vista OEM version.

    If you bought separately (not OEM), then borrow another windows vista RETAIL copy.

    That would be casual piracy but, there is nothing you can do.

    in any case, it won't work if you don't have a genuine microsoft product key.

    If you are unable to activate, call microsoft product activation.

    NOTE: Make sure that you borrow the exact and the same architecture/version/edition.

    for example, the name of the product that is written on your COA is vista Home premium, then borrow OEM de Microsoft windows vista Home premium.

    When all else fails, buy Windows 7.

    Call the manufacturer of your computer.

    1. ask a set of recovery disks. The cost is minimal and it is money well spent.
    2. at the same time, ask to speak to a technician. Ask the person to teach you how to access the recovery of the computer partition and how to use it to restore your computer.

    None of the foregoing need by using your product key.

    In general, yes your reinstall Dell drive is identical to a disc to install Windows genuine.

    The differences are not applicable for the repair procedure. (FYI - Toshiba and HP Vista, the disks cannot be used to perform a repair install, while gateway disks will work for Vista)

    Hey,.

    I m a bit confused now
    What exactly happens on your laptop? You can start Windows?

    I think the article MS says it all: to repair Windows you need a disc of Microsoft Vista.

    Alternatives to reinstall the entire system use the Toshiba recovery disc that contains a picture of the factory settings. Have you created this disk?

  • Windows Vista recovery disc

    I can't load the Windows Vista recovery disks (3 in total).  The Recovery Manager has not opened.  I went up to step 3 only.  I guess the restore disc (CD 1) failed.

    Hello:

    Sometimes the recovery disks do not work for one reason or another.

    If you can still read all 25 characters of the Vista product key on the COA Microsoft sticker on the bottom of your PC, you can do your own Vista installation disc that should at least get an operating system reinstalled on your PC.

    Here's how:

    If you are in a fault light but rewarding you can do yourself if you can read your product key of Vista on the PC of 25 characters.

    You just download the 3 files you need on the link below and read all the instructions to create a Setup bootable DVD disk using imageburn.

    Do not take into account the part of the text in the first screen shot about "extract the files in the folder of Vista."

    The files were extracted already in this folder when you ran the X14.exe file by reading the text on top of the first screenshot.

    The other thing I noticed is on the 4th page, where it shows Developer ID Microsoft Corporation. I had to type Microsoft Corporation in me, and then the other codes already filled in.

    When I went to compile the ISO file, ImageBurn gave a message on a WIM file, file and ISO, and if I wanted to burn it in a different format.

    I selected no, make the ISO file.

    It was not so hard to do. I burned both the disk of 64-bit and 32-bit disk in case I ever need them.

    I tested both of them on my hp dc7100 CMT PC desktop computer, they worked perfectly.

    When you enter the product key, he knows which version of Vista you have.

    After you install Vista successfully, you can then install the drivers for your PC and driver page support.

    Update:  This is the new link to your own Vista installation media.

    Click on the link below and then click on the link PDF Guide of reinstalling Windows.

    Follow the instructions on pp 295-297.

  • Legaly how to get windows vista Installer?

    So, I bought the laptop with a windows vista. On the side rear of the computer, is the license key. When I buy my computer, nobody gives me windows cd, then, how legaly get the installer of windows vista? I don't want to go to shop, pay a lot of money for the cd. Maybe I can somehow download it? (Sru for my bad English) Waiting for answer :)

    There is no legal downloads of Vista installation discs.  Contact the people bought you from (or better, the manufacturer of the computer) and see if they'll sell you a copy at a reduced price and if not, at least get them to send you a set of recovery disc (for a small fee) in order to have a way to recover your system if it fails and needs to be reinstalled. Then ask if your computer has a recovery Partition, and if you can make your own disks Reccovery (and ask them exactly how to do this).  If you know someone with a genuine drive to Installation of Vista of the size of the bit, you can make a copy of their record (they are not marked as read) and then you will also only available for installation of not only but also for the recovery and repair options is not available on the recovery discs they provide or you can do.

    I hope this helps.

    Vista recovery media obtain and/or use the Partition Recovery Vista on your computer to the factory settings .

    There is no Vista free download legal available.

    Contact your computer manufacturer and ask them to send a recovery disk/s Vista set.

    Normally, they do this for a cost of $ small.

    In addition, ask them if you have a recovery Partition on your computer/laptop to restore it to factory settings.

    See if a manual provided with the computer or go to the manufacturer's website, email or you can call for information on how to make a recovery.

    Normally, you have to press F10 or F11 at startup to start the recovery process...

    Another way I've seen on some models is press F8 and go to a list of startup options, and launch a recovery of standards of plant with it, by selecting the repair option.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Also ask them if it is possible to do the recovery disk/s for the recovery Partition in case of a system Crash or hard drive failure.
    They will tell you how to do this.
    Every computer manufacturer has their own way of making recovery disk/s.
