Windows Vista to Windows 7 upgrade results in annoying message every time I reboot.

Results in annoying message whenever I start "Microsoft .net Framework on 2.0 is required to continue." Windows Vista upgrade to Windows 7 when I try to download from the MS site, get a message that says that this is not the version for my 64-bit machine.  But he didn't tell me WHAT the correct version!  When I try to install a 64-bit version, get a message that tells me to go to my control panel, but then he don't tell me what to do.

Windows Update has nothing to with the upgrade of Windows. Please post future questions about the upgrade in this forum: http://social.answers.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/w7install/threads ~ Robear Dyer (PA Bear) ~ MS MVP (that is to say, mail, security, Windows & Update Services) since 2002 ~ WARNING: MS MVPs represent or work for Microsoft
