  I got the Windows Update for Monday, 30/11/09. Under the option updated, I clicked on the update Realtek for my wireless 801.11 b / g driver.  During the download on the window updates screen, he says that he was downloading updates.   Judging by your post, it seems that Microsoft had technical problems when you tried to activate your copy of Vista by phone. Have you tried phoning the line Activation again?

  The normal procedure is that if the activation fails through the automated system, the call is transferred to a real person. It is the only available option if you get the error 'use existing product key'.

  I can only suggest that you try again the activation by phone and see what happens.

  I found the solution to this problem. I went to another Windows help forum. It is to reset the Windows Update program. I tried the one here on the Microsoft site, and it did not work. But I tried this one http://wind8apps.com/windows-update-error-code-8024a000/ and the fist solution worked like a charm. He fixed the update and install issues with Powershell 2.0. After that and a certain number of updates, it's updated, Windows Update will update to the latest version. After this release he went and found many updates, I had to install. So be patient, you're in for a little wait.
