Windows Vista - where are the files (contacts and folders) to Windows Live Mail?

I had to restore Windows Vista and the files that I backed up online.  Where are the files (contacts and folders) to Windows Live Mail?

They are stored here. C:\Users\(User Name) \AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows Live Mail

  • Where are the files of Windows Mail messages and contacts stored in Windows 7?

I backed up a Windows 7 system and restored to factory State by doing a restore of the system because the system has been seriously infected by viruses.  I couldn't do the export before the system recovery.

Now, given the Windows 7 system restore brand new I am trying to restore Windows Mail account.  In fact, I can't tell if it was a front window Mail or Windows Live Mail.  I don't know if the locations of the files for messages and contacts of these two letters are different.

When I go to c:\users\%username%\AppData\Local\Microsoft\, I don't see Windows Live Mail but Windows Mail.  So does that mean it was a Windows Mail system not a before Windows Live Mail System.  I copied the files saved in Windows Mail system on the same path directory in the newly recovered system, but it doesn't seem to make a difference when I open Windows Live Mail, which is the only e-mail program on the newly recovered Windows 7 system.

Can someone confirm the locations of the files to messages and contacts, Windows Mail and Windows Live Mail in the operating system Windows 7 home.  Can I just copy the files on?  With Outlook 2007 and 2010, she usually works if I simply copy the files or import from the saved file.  Also should which file names be so that I can easily identify them?  Are the mail accounts and password setup to re - enter as Outlook 2007/2010 or are stored in the files I can simply copy to the new system?

  • where are the files of exercise tutorial?

Where are the exercise files mentioned in the photoshop tutorials?

Most of the video tutorials on AdobeTV won't exercise files to go with the video. If they do, they will be listed under "Show more details" in the section about this episode.

There are a few resources that you can use if you want to follow tutorials with exercise files to go with the steps.

Lynda.com is a great resource for learning Photoshop. To have full access to learning tools you must buy a subscription, but many of their lessons have exercise files cover.

You can also watch in Level Up for Photoshop. It is a plugin that you download and open in Photoshop which walks you through the step-by-step tutorials in the program. All Level Up exercise files are included when you download the plugin.

I hope this helps! Good luck

  • Re Mail Yosemite: where are the files of signatures and rules are?

I had to reinstall Yosemite from scratch. I want to import Signatures and rules - without accounts - back-up of the previous installation. What are the names of the files in question and where are they located?

You need locate the folder ~/Library/Mail/V2/MailData/Signatures for your signatures and ~/Library/Mail/V2/MailData/SyncedRules.plist for your rules.

Drag and drop in the same location on your new installation.

    I hope this helps.

  • Where are the files save in Windows XP mode on Windows 7 pro

Mode windows Xp when you save an image or files, where can you find the files on the local drive outside Windows xp mode using windows 7?

    Hello

If the files have been saved in the computer of the XP mode and it does not work, that you cannot access because all of the XP-Mode computer with its data is stored on a single large file VHD.

You can configure the Win7 & XP to share files, then you can use both, as if they were two computers on a network and access files between them when the XP Mode is running through the network.

You can also mount the VHD XP-Mode file as a virtual drive and access part of its content, but if you make a mistake and you lose something XP Mode can get damaged.

  • Manage Sites window is blank after upgrade. How can I tell Dreamweaver where are the files to my site?

    Hello

Running Dreamweaver on CC. I updated yesterday and now when I go to 'Manage the Sites' the window is empty. In the local files on the right side window, it shows all my folders starting with "Computer" as the root. I really want to avoid having to add to each site (with the news server etc.). I can't see an .ste file in one of the site folders. Nothing appears in the preferences that will allow me to set the path to the folder that contains all the files of my site. Can anyone help?

    Thank you

    Judith

He chalked it up to a lesson learned

Once your sites are defined immediately export them in files STE.

  • where are the files of keyword and how I get them into lightroom 4?

I've upgraded from lightroom lightroom 3 4.  In many cases, the key words are missing - sort of. When I click on one photo, the keywords appear.  If I select a bunch of pictures, keywords appear as a group.  Why they not listed for each photo?  How can I get the "connected" without redoing each photo?  Let me know if you need more information.  It seems I read somewhere that keywords are stored in a separate file (many of these photos are jpg, if I do not speak .xmp), but I can't find where I read that.  Anyone know?

    Thanks for help.

    Margaret

Hello.  Looks like I got all my keywords attached to the pictures.  What I did:

Firstly I find all photos without keywords using a metadata search.

I found that he appeared to be groups of pictures that had no key words.  I decided to at least get the main keyword on all people in a particular group, such as Canyonlands.

Once I added one of the keywords, the others all appeared as if by magic!  Then, I went to each group of photos and added the main keyword and the others came and attached to the pictures.

Don't understand why this happened or why it fixed, because it was so random.  But I'm happy to have my restored keywords (I had divided flowers by color, etc. so it was a lot of work!)

Thanks for the discussion and self-help.

  • Where are the files wallpaper Toshiba located?

I'm sure it's a stoopid question, but I'll ask anyway...

When my laptop was new he had a few good, simple background. Since then, I changed it to show my own pictures, fish tanks.

I would like to restore the simple wallpaper, but I can't find the files.

Can someone point me in the right direction?

    Thanks in advance.

I do not know what operating system do you use but to choose the wallpaper Toshiba is simply.

    VISTA:
Right click on desktop > Personalize > Desktop Background > photo location: Toshiba wallpapers. Photo favorite chose and confirm with OK.

    WINDOWS 7:
Right-click on the desktop > personalize > themes installed. Choose a theme from Toshiba, then you will find the option to background wallpaper. Open it and choose photo available for some theme.

I hope you will discover how it works.

  • Are the files $NtUninstallKB83522WXP$ and lots of files with names like KB2566454.log is necessary to keep?

Original title; These files are needed?

I hundredes swith of file names such as $NtUninstallKB83522WXP$ and lots of files with names like KB2566454.log. Can they be deleted?

My system became very slow lately and it's the first timeI saw these files.

The files have dates between 2005 and 2012. My computer took more time to start and is much slower in response to requests.

Because thses files take up so much space I would like if possible remove them.  I'm under Windopws XP SP3.

If your PC behaves properly, you can remove the hotfix Windows backup hidden files that start with $NTUninstallKB to the WINDOWS folder. Be aware that once they are removed you will not be able to uninstall the updates they represent.

There are two ways to do:

    1. manually, but copy the files on a CD/DVD first to enable their restoration has a fix must be removed at a later date. Now delete the folder \WINDOWS, but leaves the orphan entries to add / remove programs intact. Remove only the $NTUninstallKB files that relate to corrections, not those for applications such as Word, WMP, etc.. In addition, DO NOT DELETE THE folder$ $hf_mig.

    2. my preference is to run a script that also removes the corresponding entries in Add / Remove programs. Once they are deleted by the script, they cannot be restored. Download, extract and run this little script http://www.dougknox.com/xp/utils/xp_hotfix_backup.htm creating a system restore point first just in case something goes wrong when the update of the register.

  • Where are the files published in the recent tab recorded exactly?

So, here is the situation I faced, if I open an eBook (let's call it E_Original), highlight the text and add some notes, these changes are not saved in the original pdf file. Edited pdf file appears in the recent tab with the small icon of cloud under the name of file (this file has the name E_Original but seems it is not the original file, but some temporary files located elsewhere).

So my file is secure on cloud to adobe but again I want to access locally so that I can record on dropbox on my tablet, possible etc on my computer. So, where exactly published in MRU files are found in android?

    My OS: Android 5.1

    Thank you

    Hello

If you want to save the file on dropbox or car, you can do so using this option (on the lower bar) to share. If you want these clouds files locally, you can generate a public link using the "share the public link" option in the dialog share. After you build the link, you can download this file and you can save it locally.

    Thank you

  • Where are the files edited in Lightroom?

I want to be able to use my files edited in InDesign, but the only way I know how to do it is to export them to a folder in the finder. This poses a few problems. For one, it doubles the amount of disk space that I use, and perhaps more important still it will not bring the changes I make in Lightroom more InDesign. Does anyone know where Lightroom stores the files edited after that that they have been corrected in Lightroom?

    > I want to use my files edited in InDesign, but the only way

    > I know how it is to export to a folder in the finder.

This is the only way, Yes.

    > This poses a few problems. For one, it doubles the amount of disk

    I use the space

    > and perhaps more importantly still it will not bring the changes I make in

    > Lightroom on for InDesign.

Of course, it does. Why you think that it is not? You export as a TIF,

with all the edited changes applied. Then use the TIF in InDesign.

    > Does anyone know where Lightroom stores the files changed after they

    > have been corrected in Lightroom?

You misunderstand works of LR. There is no file 'modified '. All here

are your original files and a set of changes (stored in the catalog).

The file you see in LR, with changes applied to it, the fact

not exist in a separate anywhere file. It becomes a separate

    file when you export it.

  • Where are the canned reports and dashboards?

I guess I'm missing something obvious here. I walk through the installation guide for the users of Informatica, and everything seems to work out. I also did the OBIEE repository and loading configuration, so I see the metadata and all the tables/joints etc. But I thought we canned reports and dashboards included - where are they? I can't see them not mentioned in the documentation and figure that there should be a more obvious way to find watching all the directories in the installation...

So... can anyone point me in the right direction?

    Thank you!

    Hello

The /dashboards of canned reports are in the catalog. on the machine where you installed the application BI, OracleBIData\web\catalog
You can find EnterpriseBusinessAnalytics.zip, then unzip this file and update the instanceconfig.xml and restart presentation services.

  • Well, I'm stupid - where are the stadium signs and movie Explorer? How can I open them?

I see all of these videos that refer to the stage, explore and Element film panels, but I can't find them anywhere. They are not in the Windows drop-down menu. There is a checkbox called sensitive scale in the stadium Panel - now if I can only find.

I think that you barely scratched the surface of '... WTF did do that ', but if you stay long enough you'll see more of the things that make you ask, 'who does this decision' and ' really think it through?

    Hello

As a best practice after the migration of 10g OAM, you can force the user to set the questions and answers of security. The chances of error will be zero in this case.
