Windows WiFi problems 8 - USB adapter

Hi guys, just thought I would first thank you guys to check my question and can help me, I really appreciate it!

OK so I have Windows 8 Pro installed on my desktop, I built it myself so if you need card let me know.
I recently moved to a different location that requires my PC to get a Wi - Fi connection, so I bought a USB Wi - Fi Wi - Fi dongle: Edimax EW-7612UAnV2. It is plugged and it worked first time no problem. Now, after a few updates that it doesn't work, sometimes it does not connect, sometimes limited, sometimes full of connection, but still no real access via browser s, sometimes that it works, but for less than 10 seconds and slow worm. So far, I have:
Used all the different diagnose and repair network tools, network card and USB devices. Sometimes bad ip configuration, it does not find default gateway.
Uninstalled the driver, but as soon as I plug it back, I guess because it's a plug-and-play device.
Used ipconfig/release and ipconfig/renew to refresh the DHCP
Also manually entered default gateway into the adapter.
Still no solution. Some would help that he had driven me mental!

    Hello

I have a Windows 10 partition on my MacBook Pro (Early 2015) retina. I use Windows on a regular basis, and recently, I have a lot of problems with my WiFi. Today, I completely lost my private WiFi connection and I can't solve this problem. I restarted my router several times and nothing has changed. I installed the Windows updates before - maybe that's the reason? Is it possible to reinstall the Boot Camp software? I currently have version 6.0. I can only find the versions 5.x on Apple's site. Or how can I fix this? In my device manager, the card network Broadcom 802.11ac is listed and even my router said: that the MBP is connected to WiFi. The network card is also says that I'm connected to the network, but access is limited (no internet access). WiFi works fine on my other devices like my iPhone 6 s. If you need anything else to know, feel free to ask.

    Thank you in advance.

  • Pavilion: with 10 windows wifi problems

Since the upgrade of windows 8.1 for windows 10 I get incompatible wifi connection.  I am only able to post this message because I am sitting practically on the router.  my partner who has an Asus tablet with windows 8.1 has no problem and can be as much as 10 meters, in different rooms.

If I move away from the router, then it will drop the Internet.

I am inclined to believe that this is a problem specific to HP and lack of updated drivers for windows 10 which are not yet available. Is that correct and if so when they become available?

    Hello

These drivers I gave you a link at the beginning are the last for today. If you install these days the other Mediatek pilot that could be demoted.

I have another laptop, but with the same drivers that I suggested to you and it works.

Version of the Intel chipset driver

Check in the Device Manager, what version you have.

Also check the version of the BIOS if the latter or if you need the BIOS upgrade.

  • Windows Wifi problem 8 T61

When I wake my sleeping T61, hybernation, or if he was arrested with this win8 quick start function, the wifi does not work. It recognizes all wifi networks, but cannot connect to one of them. In order to make it work again I have to either restart or go in Network Center and disable the wifi card, and then turn it back on. It works very well after that, but geez there is some difficulty so I don't have to do every time, it's really tempting to back me to win7.

    Hello

It is a known problem in Windows 8, for a vast majority of the old WiFi cards and many new institutions.

Open Control Panel configuration-device - ECS Manager - right click on your card and select Properties - tab power management - uncheck the box "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" and crush them OK.

This has fixed the problem for many users, but not all. You can also go to Power Options - change Plan Settins on your diet plan active - changing parameters of energy - card Wireless - Power Saving Options Advanced settings - choose maximum performance for the batteries and the AC.

See if these changes do not solve the problem for you.

  • Problems with wireless USB adapter. Icon missing "Wireless network connection".

I recently got a laptop HD malfunction cause me to start my PC from 2004. I bought a Belkin N150 Wireless USB adapter to connect to the internet connectivity. During the installation, I do not get a "Wireless network connection" icon I am running Windows XP SP3. I installed the same USB adapter on a computer running Windows XP SP2 and it works fine. I plugged it in my desktop PC and it just doesn't work! Even with my router disconnected I should still be able to see other networks WiFi available in the range (I live in a community of apartment) as he worked on the other computer it elsewhere too. I double checked the drivers, reboot the cable modem, so that appropriate services were activated and still no dice. I have read forums and I'm almost at the point of paying MS for technical support services, but it's really just my last step before I shell out money for professional help. Notice to lovers? =)

    Hello

Well, at this point, you should make an executive decision.

If you think that someone will take just guilt because it's comfortable, it is not going to happen.

If a new card that is known to work does not work, then you can try to re - install Windows.

One of the differences between computer enthusiasts and regular users is the availability of the material. I have a set of wireless router, network cards, etc. that are known to be good.

The components are used for the sole purpose of trying them temporarily on the troubled computers to rule out hardware problems.

  • Intermittent WiFi problem after upgrade to Windows 10

My acer aspire V3 - 571 has been intermittently lose WiFi for the last 2 days since Windows 10 Windows 7 Home Premium upgrade.

    The Aspire has:

Driver Atheros wireless network adapt AR5BWB222 10.0.0.38 Wednesday 2/15/12

    So far, I have:

    1. in the properties Atheros AR5BWB222 Wireless Network Adapter, I unchecked the box in the tab property management who read allow the computer to turn off this device to save power.

1B. Made sure flight mode was in the off position.

1 c. Forget exactly where I did, but made certain settings in another? location have been set to "Maximum Performance".

    2. check that the firmware is updated on my network router, the value 2 of WPA - PSK (AES) security.

    3. search through many forums to read the responses of people upgrading Windows 10 WiFi issues - seems it is a widespread problem, although no one said that the WiFi signal loss was intermittent, as is my laptop. Shots of the Internet for my research also shows WiFi problems occurred in the past for installation of Windows 8. (So far have not come across mentions of WiFi problems for the latest installations of Windows 7).

    4. in exploring my laptop, I came across a page of Microsoft Updates - SEE ATTACHED. I was surprised to find that these updates go out quite frequently during the day. For example, 10 separate updates between 23:30 and 16:24 on August 1 and 18 separate updates between 12 h 06 at 15:57 on August 2.  Included in the record of updates for August 1 and August 2. I am aware that Microsoft uses my WiFi to download updates AUTOMATICALLY. It is possible that this intermittent intermittent interruptions of the WiFi update download?

    5. this afternoon, when the WiFi did not work for Windows 10. I reinstalled as a dual boot Ubuntu 14.04. I have had no trouble to connect to the WiFi for Ubuntu.

    Not yet:

    1. I haven't tried connecting the laptop via an Ethernet cable to my router during one of these WiFi failure.

    2. my ISP is a VOIP/Internet, using a Westell and a single Cisco router configuration. I have not taken into account if they can be a cause of the problem.

    3. I read on a forum that someone corrected their problem with WiFi connection by changing their setting include TKIP security router

NOTE: I need to put Windows screenshot attachment 10 updates in a response email separate to this post as this post does not accept the attachment.

Would appreciate your comments and suggestions. Thanks in advance.

I'll probably also put this on a Windows 10 forum elsewhere.

    Hello!

FYI, this has worked for me, finally a solution!

The strangest thing - I have uninstalled the driver Atheros. Do NOT reinstall it. After uninstalling the driver Atheros, a right screen Windows 10 panel immediately appeared style - either on advice of Panel or in the page settings of WiFi, was asleep, can't remember which - that contains an entry box marked my wifi password. I entered the password and boom, the wifi worked. He has been since.

Once again thank you. Mark resolved.

  • Connection speed problems - black WUSB54GC usb adapter

    Hello everyone,

This is my first post here!

I googled nothing helped, and so I thought I would record with the Linksys forum and see if maybe I can solve this problem that others may have as well.

I recently installed black WUSB54GC usb wireless adapter on my desktop PC, windows XP (now updated with service packs, etc.)

The adapter receives the complete signal (very good - excellent, 54 Mbps), but it seems that my download speeds are capped with this adapter. Web pages same way load more slowly. I can place the macbook from my girlfriend directly next to my office, connected to exactly the same wireless network, and its download speed, browser speed and speed test results are always twice as me (any site speed test I use or what file I download).

When I do a speed test, almost seems as if the speedometer needles few want to continue, but they just 'bounce', as they are hitting some kind of ceiling.

When downloading files, the macbook on average 500 to 800 Kbps, while the adapter WUSB54GC hangs out at approximately 90 kbps.

I have read in this forum and have adjusted my router Linksys WRT54G wireless suggested as follows:

-Set the channel 11-2 wireless, 462 GHz

-Change the interval of tag to 75

-Change the Fragmentation threshold to 2304

-Change the RTS threshold to 2304

In addition, my connection speed is even slower, regardless if I have the settings TCP/IP (under the Wi - Fi connection properties) set manual (static ip) or automatically.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, as I would like to be able to get this thing working properly, knowing that my router is pumping a lot more than this adapter is letting me use.

    Thank you!

Well, I think I solved the problem.

Seems that in some ports USB on my motherboard (Asus P5B) do not allow to run at full speed wireless USB adapter. I had used in the rear ports on my computer... but the passage for the first ports (that came with the case - Thermaltake Armor) seems to have solved the problem. However, as I believe that all of the USB ports I have is strange Hi-speed USB 2.0 and strange that those outside that came with the case and will connect to the pins on the motherboard works better than those actually built. Huh.

Wouldn't be something to do with the drivers for the WUSB54GC, or is this a problem with USB port drivers?

In any case, I'm sorry if this sounds like a useless thread now, but maybe this someone solve other problems too.

    See you soon!

  • Plug a second monitor using a VGA to a USB adapter, Windows 7

I am trying to connect an old monitor to my desktop computer all-in-one HP, but is of the old VGA monitor that is the block with 2 screws on each side.  So I bought a VGA cable of the USB adapter, because neither my office or my old monitor have AVI or connections HDMI and my office had no VGA port.

Now Windows does not detect my screen when I plug in, and I used the disc that came with the adapter cord and the monitor has its own power and old video audio style that I have the ports on my desk.

I'd appreciate any help you could give me it please and thank you.

  • Problem by acknowledging an instrument in series with a USB adapter in NIMax

    Hi Forum,

I have an instrument designed to be controlled via a signal with a RS232 cable series and I try to get NIMax to recognize and send test orders.  My laptop (running Windows 7 Enterprise) has no serial port so I use a USB adapter to connect.  When I could not initially the device appears, I searched online and find suggestions that I should install the NI-VISA driver.  I downloaded and installed, but it does not help - to open VISA test panels is greyed out and it indicates that the unit is 'away' even when it is plugged.  When I open the control panel interactive of VISA directly, the device appears as a question mark, and if I double click top, it says the following:

    Error opening resource:
    ASRL10::INSTR

VISA: (Hex 0xBFFF0011) insufficient location information or the device or resource is not present in the system.

Any thoughts on how I can get my PC to communicate with the device?  Thanks in advance for your help.

Thanks for the tip, I didn't know that I needed to install a driver for this.  Do you know if a general device like this driver will work.

You need to install some drivers Windows are necessary for your USB-serial adapter (should have with the adapter).  Once Windows detects the serial port will be MAX.

  • WiFi problem after upgrade to Windows 10

    Greetings!

I read a few posts on WiFi problems after the (improper) upgrade of Windows 10. I have a ThnkPad T530 which I've upgraded to Windows 10 Windows 7 in September (too late to roll back). Here's my question:

I have three computers on my desk. This standard T530 running Windows 10, a ThnkPad E555 running Windows 7 and a Dell running Windows 8. I used all three last Friday. I installed Norton on all three Friday and everything went without a hitch. When I first started their return to the top of this morning, the two others came online as usual. The ThinkPad T530 connected by a router in the company, but has no access to the internet. I can connect to the hotspot on my phone and it connects fine. I tried to turn the WiFi connection and then turn it on again, restart, by killing and restarting the business connection, etc. Nothing changes.
