-You are aware of any changes made on the computer before this problem?
Method 1: I suggest to maintain the computer in clean boot mode and check if the problem still persists.

Step 1: Clean Boot Mode
A clean boot to check if startup item or services to third-party application is causing this issue.
You can read the following article to configure the computer to boot:
http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929135
Note: After the troubleshooting steps, refer to clean the start link to configure the computer to normal startup mode.

Step 2: Manually disable the Antivirus

Important note: Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you should not disable your antivirus software. If you need to disable temporarily to install other software, you must reactivate as soon as you are finished. If you are connected to the Internet or a network, while your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.

Step 3: Install Service Pack 2 (SP2)

Steps to take before you install Windows XP Service Pack 3

Include to determine which SP1 is installed

Method 2: Follow the steps mentioned below and check if the problem persists.

Step 1: Microsoft Windows Update Agent tool
How to get the latest version of the Windows Update Agent?

Step 2: Try to install the updates and check if the problem persists.

Method 3: Try to download and install the Windows XP SP2 and SP3 manually and check if the problem persists.

  • This cable or accessory is not certified and may not work reliably with this iPad.

I get the following message: "this cable or accessory is not certified and may not work reliably with this iPad." Oh, and the message repeats every so often. At first, I thought maybe would it be the earbuds, but I get the message, even though no headphones are attached. I get the message when no cable is attached. This occurs even if no cable is fixed. A hypothesis as to what is happening there?

    < re-titled by host >

These alerts can appear for several reasons: the cable is defective, damaged or may not be certified by Apple, or your device might have an accumulation of dirt or damage. Follow these steps:

Before you try the following steps, make sure that the USB cable and your port is clean!

    1. Restart your iOS device.
    2. Try a different cable certified by Apple or a charger.
    3. Make sure you have the latest version of iOS.
    4. Contact Apple support to implement the service.

I hope that you will charge your iPad in no time!

  • 'modemdrivermac.kext' has been successfully installed and can not be used

    Hello

If this pop-up has recently started to appear on my screen. When I was connected to wifi, this has come up a few times (think it is related to the update of itunes?) Read this in another discussion, don't really know), but no problem seems to arise. I just close the window. However, I just bought a modem, and every time I install the software required to use the pop up shows. The problem occurs when I try to connect to the internet via the modem; The connection from the menu button is just gray.

The name of the driver pretty much says it all; It is important in the use of modems but does not work. Any suggestions to solve this? All entries are greatly appreciated.

    Thank you

Edit: There is a connection available, so this isn't the problem. The modem flashes (blue, which means there is a link but I'm not connected to it)

  • iPad froze during the update and may not exceed

Has obtained the new ipad and put in place.  Went do the last software update and it froze during the update process.  Blocked at the white screen with the apple logo.  Can not pass it and past 2 hours.  Tried to restore through itunes, but get the error that I need to enter my password which I can't because I'm stuck on the white screen.

    Hey there smbirchler,

Congratulations on your new iPad! Looks like you were updating the iOS version, the device froze, and now you can't pass the white Apple logo screen, even after you try to restore in iTunes. I know how happy I am when I get a new camera, so we'll work together on that, so you are able to enjoy your iPad mini.

We will have you try to use the device in Recovery Mode. Take a look at this article for how to do this:

  • 2 months Time Machine backup file has been changed recently and is not the old version of the file

Good, then me Riddle this dear sweet people. I want to get an older copy of a file that was accidentally changed in recent days, according to me. I went to time machine and found that the file has been changed recently even if the backup of the States, she was saved 2 months ago. YGBFKM

The reason for which the whole I support is to avoid this specific scenario. What is the backup if it is not the data from the date it was supposed to be archival?

I would like to understand what has happened even as I and version current source of REAL backup software and ACTUALLY back up my data.

    Hello

Please contact Microsoft Community. I will surely help you this question.

To better understand the issue, I would need more information on your side.

    1. What is the brand and model of the USB device?
    2. the problem occurs only with a specific USB device?

    3. What is the brand and model of the computer?

This problem might have occurred because of these reasons:
    1 USB drivers are corrupt.

I suggest you run the hardware troubleshooter to check if it helps.

  • I guess it's a matter of "settings". I tried all the fixes you suggest to get rid of the window "Firefox has been recently updated" popping up as my home page. Another thing to try.

My normal homepage is no longer happens when I start navigating. Your introductory page rises and remains standing, so to ask me a question about allowing to collect information.

Which probably won't help if you have other programs running which is to protect the files in the Firefox profile folder.

What security (firewall, antivirus) software do you have?

Has she any virtualization or sandbox features?

You can try to start windows in save mode (F8 at the startup screen) to see if this helps to remove the file.

You can also try a new profile to see if it works.

See "basic troubleshooting: a new profile:

If this new profile works then you can transfer files from the old profile to the new profile, but make sure not to copy corrupted files.

  • My hard drive has been replaced, now PE does not work!

My laptop was having problems, which ended in my motherboard and hard drive being replaced. Before doing so, I basically copied my entire hard drive to an external drive. I copied everything then back on my laptop with its new hard drive, but now when I try to open PE it tells me to uninstall and reinstall. The problem is that it is not technically installed on the new hard drive! I have no way to uninstall it! What should I do to get it working again?

    More information:

    It's first Adobe Elements 9.

    I use Windows 7.

I have no access to my old hard drive (just what I copied on the external drive to backup/storage).

Given that I copied all of the hard disk, the program and everything with it's on my new, but I can't figure out how to uninstall or reinstall.

(I have the same problem with Photoshop CS3 Extended, if anyone can help me with this too.)

You will need to work around the problem that it won't let you not uninstall first. You may need to go through the instructions to remove manually, here - http://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop-elements/kb/manually-remove-photoshop-elements-9.html.

    See you soon,.

Today, when plug me the charger, I see this message

Check the box at the bottom of the phone where the lightning card plugs in. See if there is any dust, dirt, lint or other debris blocking the area. You can use a dry, soft toothbrush to brush the area clean and use compressed air to blow in the region. See if that helps. Otherwise, you can then take the time to bring the product if you've purchased from Apple then can check the phone or find out the return policy of the place, that you bought, and they can replace it.

Is it possible to uninstall McAfree branch of vmware Fusion once installed?

I'll assume that your question is in fact to return to the physical optical drive (rather than the image of McAfee), does not actually uninstall McAfee.

Right click on the D: drive and eject it. Then go to the Virtual Machine > CD/DVD and select use physical disk drive. It is documented in the release notes to the title of "The rest McAfee antivirus ISO mounted".

  • Virus on my computer. Windows Vista has been altered by the virus and my computer does not have a product key

My computer caught a SERIOUS virus that damaged my beta Windows Vista together. So I've upgraded to Windows 7, however, I have not the key product for Windows Vista or 7. Is it possible to set this up with Windows Vista or 7 because my product key for computers, which was at the back of it, has been erased or worn. There is no name on the back of my laptop sticker saying what product key to use. Thank you!

What virus? How did you know you had it? You run an anti-virus
the program? Which one? Is it updated? Why don't you use not to
    remove the virus?

So I had to upgrade to Windows 7,

Ugh! The upgrade to a different version of Windows does not remove a virus. In
did the upgrade when you have a problem is always a bad
thing to do and will be much more likely to make the problem worse than in
    solve it.

However, I have not the key product for Windows Vista or 7.

Where have you upgraded to Windows 7? Upgrade to a
legitimate version Windows7 is a bad thing, but if you went to one
a pirated version, it is likely to cause additional problems and you
are probably in trouble now and need to clean install a
copy legitimate of some versions of Windows.

Is there a way to set up in Windows Vista or 7 because
my product key for computers, which was at the back of it, has
has been deleted or worn. There is no name on the back of my
laptop computer sticker saying what product key to use. Thank you!

The product key on the back of your laptop is for what version of
Windows it came with and may not be used for all other versions. If you
don't have a product key for Vista or Windows 7, the laptop
no doubt supplied with XP. Is this correct?

If it came with XP, it is very old and it is almost certainly elsewhere
low power for Windows 7. In addition the drivers you need for Windows
7 there are almost certainly not, and you will not be able to run
    Windows 7 on it.

At this point, you are probably in trouble no matter what you do. You
must reinstall Windows XP itself, but you no longer have your
product key and you probably haven't a Windows XP CD no more. You
can try to ask the manufacturer of the laptop to a XP CD and product
key, but I doubt if you can get at this late date.

You can buy a copy of Windows 7, but once, you are likely in a way
low power for the drivers you need and it will be unavailable.
