  I upgraded my 64 new image computer windows 7 Home premium Edition to windows 7 using the upgrade anytime professionoal.  I downloaded the fix for quad core to use virtual pc and windows xp mode.  When XP is "windows xp for first use mode setting" it loads to 99% and then I get the message "unable to complete Setup.  I service request # 1182160056 but the phone lines of microsoft do not work.  Any suggestions?

  Have its possible that this is a download corrupted Windows XP mode, you tried to download it again and see if it works? Also, make sure that you first install Windows Virtual PC.

  Scroll down and make sure that Windows Virtual PC is checked.

  I seem stuck at "Setup is preparing your computer for first use.  It stays on the screen for about 8 minutes, goes to a white screen for about 5 minutes and then returned to the screen "Setup is preparing your computer for first use.  The nettop does not have a CD-ROM drive, and I have currently not an external USB drive is my only option right now. I tried the USB stick on another computer, and he moved very well.  I try to avoid having to buy an external rom just to try it, but I guess that will be my next step.

  I went through a custom installation of windows 7 upgrade from windows xp and at the end of the installation process, I get the message "Setup is preparing your computer for first use.  my computer has been slain on this screen for hours.  I restarted in safe mode, but it got the same screen.

  Try to repair the Installation of Windows 7
   
  1. Insert the DVD of Windows 7 and restart your computer
  2 boot from the DVD.
  3. choose your language and click Next.
  4. click on repair your computer, select the operating system you want to repair.

  Hello, I was hoping you guys could help out me with a big problem, I ran across when trying to install Windows 7 on a desktop computer new, custom - build. I managed to successfully install my Windows 7 64-bit, it appeared, but when I try to run it, that I will meet a black screen that says "Setup is preparing your computer for first use" and it will stay there forever, I would say. I let it run all night and didn't go anywhere.

• Pinnacle has audio L & R... How to convert 1 stereo for first use

  When I import my video captured by pinnacle in a first sequence, I need to put 2 separate as audio files that records pinnacle L/R on separate files, these files are then fed into a sequence and don't go to the main stereo track for the sequence and instead go to 2 new audio tracks.   Is this in any way about this?   Can I import 2 tracks like a stereo track or something?  Or does anyone have a work around?  I intend using On Location for purposes of capture to proceed... but I have TONS of images to change everything first captured by Pinnacle.
