Windows XP Pro 32-bit compatible with graphics Diamond Radeon 4650 ATI card

I keep getting "recovered from serious error" message (blue screen) since it was installed. When I installed it, a message popped up on compatibility with Windows, and it told me to ignore it, then click on 'continue somehow,' I did.  However, given that I had this kind of problem, I took my CPU to the store where I bought it, had them restored my computer, and because it was the graphics card recommended by this reputable computer store of highlyl, I install the card.  I've had problems since then and I think it is the video card.  I bought the graphics card to play games that require a graphics card upgrade.

1. rather than to guess about the cause of your problems (even if your description of the sequence of events is suggestive), you must provide the complete STOP code on blue screens.  It would have been particularly important to point out the original message "about compatibility".  If the message was that the driver is "unsigned", which can be ignored without risk, but if the message really says something about compatibility, you must read carefully and take seriously.

2 ATI Radeon HD 4600 Series of diamond is a family of graphics cards, which now is no longer marketed by diamond, although there may be some detailing actions always available.

3. a Diamond Radeon 4650 card is compatible with Windows XP Pro, the bt - 32 and 64 bits.  Here's the relevant part of the specification for these cards:

Operating system: WIN 7 32, WIN 7 64, WINVISTA32,.
WINVISTA64, WINXP, WINXP64, MCE
System CPU: Min. Intel 2.0 Celeron, Pentium Intel Duo, AMD 3800 + or higher
Speed: 2.0 Ghz or more rapid system
Memory: 1024 MB
Power supply: 400 Watt
Hard drive space: 480 MB available hard disk space
CD DVD: YES
BUS: PCI Express or AGP 8 x

4. assuming that the rest of the hardware in your computer meets the specifications for the video card, you need to install the correct driver, that is, the driver which is planned for both your card AND your operating system (Windows XP).  Get it here--> http://www.dmmdownload.com/index.php

  • Windows 7 Pro 64-bit on Dell XEON with SSD slow initial Pagemaker graphics file loads, very quickly thereafter

    I use Pagemaker 7 on a mixture of Windows 7 Pro, 32 & 64 bit Dell i5 and i7 PC hard drive to work with complex graphics files.

    These computers all display the chart pages quickly Pagemaker - about 1 second for each complex page.

    A new Dell Xeon with Windows 7 Pro 64 bit with 8 GB, 250 GB SSD and 1 TB hard drive works Pagemaker 7 OK. Logically, it should be useful faster than our other PC.

    However, the initial display of complex graphical pages can take 20 seconds per page. Later, as I work in forward and backward through the pages of the same document, the graphical displays become instant - as if they were now in fast memory.

    The Xeon pilots have been verified also updated.

  • Is Photoshop CS5, which I am currently using with Windows 7 Pro 64 bit, also compatible with OS 64-bit Windows 10?

    Hello

    Currently, I use Photoshop CS5 with Windows 7 Pro 64-bit operating system.  I love the CS5 and need not upgrade to CC products.  I also think to buy a new PC with Windows 10 64-bit OS.  What is my Photoshop CS5 works with Windows 10?

    In addition, if CS5 is compatible with Win 10, must I first uninstall CS5 on my current computer before you install on the new machine, or can I just use my CS5 disk to install directly on the new PC with Win 10?

    Thank you

    Richard

    No need to uninstall CS 5 old machine. it is very very important to turn off activation in the menu helps to record the number of activations.

    All individual applications can be activated on 2 machines. Regarding the number of activations for more details, you can check with the help of Adobe once and get confirmation.

    Hmm, what about compatibility... cannot say it is completely compatible, but you can give a try. most of the cases, it works fine, but we cannot guarantee or say how it will work smoothly or can be installed on Windows 10 without any problem.

  • Driver with ATI Radeon HD 3850 AGP under Windows 7 Pro 32 bit problems

    Windows 7 Pro 32 bit reports after installation of the driver that no driver is present. There was patch drivers provided by ATI to solve these problems, but these drivers did not resolve the problems. Has anyone had success with this installation, and if so, would you please provide me with how you did this? Thank you. BTW, I did the ususal uninstall and then install, reinstalled the operating system via a facility clean and then installed the drivers, etc, etc. So far,nothing has worked. After Googling this issue I found that many others have had similar experiences with these driver problems. Now I have XP Pro and Win 7 Pro installed via dual boot and XP Pro is running pilots ok with no problems. Thank you!

    I came across the work of question three years ago on one of my machines.

    It is a problem of compatibility between the nForce 3 and AGP.  I don't remember the exact details, but with a nForce 3 and similar day SIS chipsets and a few others when they had a dual-core CPU in them, they would change the AGP port to use a PCI driver or something of this nature to enable the multi-core support (such as it's been hacked on toward the end of their development).  On Windows Vista and upward, such a workaround solution does not work.  SiS and some other published updates driver for the motherboard chipsets which he sorted, nVidia did not worth it, despite nForce 3 sold as Vista compatible.  nVidia pulled this stunt with a lot of things at the time, including their GeForce 5 cards, saying they supported Vista, same with the beta drivers and then they just canned originally.  They took both.

    It is a solution that will be the kind of work, but as you may have guessed, you will need to disable one of the cores of your CPU.

    You can do this by going to msconfig, click on the Startup tab, click Advanced... and changing the number of processors at 1.

    Reboot and your graphics drivers will spring magically to life.

  • Can't download Windows 7 Pro 64 bit Disc Images (ISO files) with the license product key

    A few months ago, I bought a laptop with Windows 7 Pro 64 bit pre-installed, used with supplied installation disc. There is a hologram sticker COA affixed to the laptop with a product key. I used this key to activate the phone without problem. I was then able to install SP1 and various other updates over time.

    Recently, I decided that I should have a Windows installation disc (Windows Update has slowed to a crawl and doesn't, and I maybe to repair or reinstall it with the disk).

    I have entered my product key on Microsoft Web page to 'Download the Windows 7 disc Images (ISO files)'. But I got an error message:

    "The product key you have entered seems to be for software pre-installed by the manufacturer of the device. Contact the manufacturer of the software device for recovery options. »

    Running 'Winver' shows that my product is authorized.

    Running "slmgr.vbs - dli" shows the partial product key and license status "allowed."

    No, and it will not be because the 1280 is an abandoned product.

    What you have to do is to go to control panel > devices and printers > add a printer.

    When in the process, you can use Windows Update to search for a driver, take it. The list of compatible printers is growing exponential, and your should now be in the list of printers HP or Hewlett Packard... This may take a few minutes to grow...

  • Windows 7 Pro 64 bit black screen with the mouse only on startup and nothing else

    Hi there, Windows 7 system recently froze on me when I tried to move a large file on a USB hard drive. I didn't was not able to close the file so I decided to stop my PC with the regular start-> Shut Down.

    Now when I try to turn on my computer, after the "starting Windows" and Microsoft report goes to a pure black screen with just a (mobile) mouse cursor, not keyboard commands or click right work (eg. ctrl + alt + delete does nothing).

    I tried to start in safe mode, safe mode with network, they do the same thing after the "Starting Windows" screen. Tried to boot with my Windows 7 Pro 64-bit installation disk so and entered commissioning repair - no problem. Tried system restore and it went successfully, however after clicking restart is again the same thing!

    It's really making me crazy, could someone please help me? I really want to reinstall Windows and lost my files (since I can't even in a form any Windows Installer interface I'm not able to do a repair).

    Thanks in advance for your suggestions!

    I will proceed to a re - install now, thanks anyway for your efforts

  • Intermittent USB mouse freeze on Windows 7 Pro 64-bit. Tested with several mice that work fine on other computers.

    I am having a frustrating problem where my Wired Optical mouse appears to 'freeze' for 10 seconds on my machine Windows 7 Pro 64-bit. Meanwhile, everything else on the computer works fine, including the keyboard (connected through PS2). The mouse does not seem to lose power because down the red LED stays on. At the end of the freeze period, I hear the sound of Windows to disconnect USB, but there is no error or windows pop-up ads of any kind on the screen.

    Some more info about the configuration:

    * Core i7 950 processor
    * 12 GB of RAM
    * Radeon HD4950 video card (or almost)
    * The main SSD drive
    * 2 external powered USB drives, 1 powered MIDI keyboard, 1 USB dongle
    * Windows experience score 7.3

    I tried things that did not work:

    • Turn off all the power management, including the management of power supply for USB, USB hubs-> suspend to win power, etc.
    • Permutation of mouse. The problem came with three different mouse from different manufacturers.
    • Try the mouse on different computers of W7 Pro. Confirmed that the mice are not the problem.
    • Disconnected all other USB devices except the mouse. Problem persists.
    • Uninstalled all the drivers for the mouse and use MS default drivers.
    • Installed the software Microsoft mouse & keyboard center.
    • Installed the software from the manufacturer (ie. logitech) specific mouse driver.
    • Tried every USB port, the front and back, on my computer, including USB3 vs USB2.
    • Scanned for malware (using Malwarebytes)
    • Search for viruses (using Nod32)

    I must point out that NO other devices are having problems on this computer. My external hard drives all work perfectly. My printer when I plug it, works great, like my USB dongle. My MIDI keyboard never loses connection. Even when I have my phone connected Android, which normally creates a huge noise if I unplug it, never disconnects even for a second. It is therefore clearly a kind of mouse problem.

    The problem seems to occur regardless of what I do, although it seems MORE common if I use actually the mouse. If I'm just typing (as I am now) it seems not really to happen. On the other hand, sometimes hours go with no problem and other time it happens literally every few seconds.

    Remove the check to "improve the accuracy of the printer" logic. I had two computers windows 7 x 64 that gives me the same problem. When I tried a wireless mouse, the problem disappeared. they do not use the windows controls.
