    Hello

    1. What is the full/exact error message?
2 were there any hardware or software changes made on the computer before this problem?

    Follow the steps.

    Method 1
Start the computer in safe mode and check if the problem persists, if the question does not persist then perform the clean boot and check if the problem resolves.

    Step 1
Safe mode starts Windows with a limited set of files and drivers. Startup programs do not work in safe mode, and only the basic drivers needed to start Windows are installed. Please click the below mentioned link.
    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/start-your-computer-in-safe-mode

    Step 2
Put the computer in a clean boot state to see if there is a software conflict as the clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929135
Note: After you have performed the steps in the clean boot troubleshooting, follow step 7 the link to start the computer to a Normal startup mode.

    Method 2:
See the help article and check if it helps.

Error: Windows Explorer has stopped working

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/2694911

Important: When performing analysis on the hard drive if bad sectors are found on the hard drive when parsing tent repair this sector if all available on which data can be lost.

An upgrade on the spot is the final solution before you have to reinstall the operating system.
Note that it takes as much time to do the upgrade as to reinstall the operating system. In addition, some of your custom Windows settings may be lost through this process.

It says device has no driver. I pilot Nations United installed tried to reinstall still not see it. Anyone have an idea what is wrong here?

Windows Update has not even the driver for this scanner.

    Help!

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Marcus25,

Sorry to inform you, the Scanjet 5370c is not supported on Windows 7:

    http://support.HP.com/us-en/document/c03403550

The driver listed on the HP site is intended for a different model (Scanjet 5590) and seems to be wrongly pposted for your scanner.

I reported this problem to get this fixed...

Altthough it is not officially supported, try the of VueScan 3rd party application which seems to support your scanner wthout you had to install the drivers on the computer:

  • Firefox does not open. Hangs during 'connection '. Inadmissible even in the process of closing via the Task Manager.

Yesterday, Firefox does not open. It hangs at the "stage of connection." For hours. It doesn't even turn off using the Manager of tasks for applications or processes, and it hangs almost all other applications. I thought that I managed to save a Word document opened yesterday - it looked like a slow, but normal save during the shot of Firefox, but the document was empty when I restarted my computer.

Although my machine is not pentium 4 in service, I tried to start by using the configuration of Windows XP/M, I downloaded and re-installed (above) the existing version, I checked that no process of Mozilla turned before trying to start Mozilla and tried to create a new profile. Absolutely no success. Every time (dozens), I tried to start Firefox, I had to force a difficult to exit the application shutdown. I now have this marking Firefox in my taskbar, because I keep forgetting and hit by reflex.

I am running version 11.0 (at least that's what I just downloaded - I am not positive of what I was running yesterday). My system is Windows 7 Home Premium, Intel Core i3 2.4 gHz, 4 GB of RAM, 64 bit OS.

Next option is to restore to an earlier version. If this does not work, I uninstall and start again from scratch.

I disabled AVG (antivirus free 2012) for 10 minutes, open Firefox and browsed a bit. Close the browser, whereas the temporarily disabled AVG activated itself again and restarted Firefox. Now, it connects perfectly - several times faster than prior to this incident (I have installed v 12.0; previous version was 11.0). I use the Microsoft Firewall, if while the firewall solution suggested above has not worked, he put me on the right track.

I can't open internet explore via the Task Manager run special command (or go to websites like microsoft support).  The start bar too is not available and no desktop icons appear.  It looks like a problem with a MSWin update.  Help, please.

    I use Windows 6 6002 SP2 on a Toshiba Satellite A200 - 1 M 5.  Thank you

    Hello islem.

    1. what was the error message from Windows explore, that you have received?

2 did you recently install Windows updates on the computer?

    3. do you have security software installed on the computer?

Check if you can access the desktop by typing explorer.exe using the Task Manager.

If you are able to access the desktop, then I suggest that you perform the clean boot procedure and check if it helps.

If you are unable to access the desktop then boot in safe mode then run clean boot.

Start your computer in safe mode

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/start-your-computer-in-safe-mode

Restart the computer to return to normal mode.

Try the steps below to perform the clean boot on the computer.

It is possible that some third-party programs installed on the computer is causing the problem.

To help resolve the error and other messages, you can start Windows Vista or Windows 7 by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This type of boot is known as a "clean boot". A clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

See the link below to learn more about how to clean boot.

How to troubleshoot a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista or in Windows 7

It does not open in "safe" mode I tried several facilities clean and using various other compatibility settings. I also tried various changes of display. Closing X is still under the black forest as I can by conjecture activate this.

Get a black screen after updating to Firefox 33 can be caused by a problem with hardware acceleration in Firefox.

You can check if there is an update for your graphics display driver.

Try to start Firefox in Safe Mode by holding down the shift/Options key.

    Disable hardware acceleration in Firefox.

    • Tools > Options > advanced > General > Browsing: "use hardware acceleration when available.

You will need to close and restart Firefox after enabling/disabling this setting.

    Hello

    1. you did make changes on your computer before the show took place?

Please follow these steps and check if they help.

  • My Windows XP pro would not let me change the option 'Use the home screen', so I removed a vital .dll file. I can't start Windows now!

My Windows XP pro would not let me change the "Use welcome screen" option under: user accounts/change the way users connect or power off.

He gave a message to the effect (I forgot to write it!) "a recently installed program does not change this setting. Search in the file named "RtlGina2.dll for a clue. So as silly as I can be, I did a search, finds the file RtlGina2.dll in the Windows/System32 folder and cut and paste on my desk. My thought was to isolate this file to see if it will address the problem of not being able to change the option use Windows screen.

Now, I can't run Windows! It gives a message that this file RtlGina2.dll is not found! Specifically, it says, User Interface failure. The UI for logon RtlGina2.dll DLL failed to load. Contact your system administrator to replace the DLL or restore the original dll.

How can I replace the dll if I can't even get started? Help, please! I know just enough to get me in trouble I see.

    WyoPathfinder,
Are you able to boot mode safe mode with command prompt?  If Yes, then you can search for the file "dir /s /a RtlGina2.dll" lists the location where you moved to.  Then you can just copy (path\filename) c:\Windows/System32\(filename)

If you do not work in safe mode, then you can boot from a XP disc and go into the recovery console and do the same thing.

Hope that helps. QQ learn manage!

When you click Restart, Windows 7 Pro will not reboot with a printer hp (L7680 or C309a) turned on.  The screen remains right on "Starting Windows".  Windows continues to load after that whatever printer is turned on.

This problem just started.  Never happened before.  I could always click on restart without problem before.

    Any help?

    Hey joe_do,

I see that you have a problem with the sequence of starting your Windows 7 Pro computer when one of your 2 HP printers are turned on.  How are these 2 printers connected to this PC?

Looks like that devices can be connected to USB and somehow the computer boot sequence put the emphasis for USB on the internal HARD disk.
