Windows XP Professional drivers missing / error installation

* Original title: windows XP Professional dirvers

I just clean installed XP on my Elitebook 8530w windows after I got it running to swap HDD.

now I'm back to the point where I need to reinstall the drivers again, but are not the same as those previously working to work more.

If I can get the Ethernet controller or the wireless controller works, I'm sure I can get is still automatically update

but I tried several drivers for both now and seem to be no case.

Under "network adapters" in the Device Manager, I have a yellow! Next to:

Intel(r) WiFi Link 5300 AGN

any thoughts?

UPDATE:

SVC 2 & 3 Pack seems to have corrected the problem of wireless network card driver. It will not display the networks in the area, however.

2ND UPDATE:

There was a wireless "sensor button" at the top of the laptop, it was orange, when I hit, it became blue indicating the wireless is now enabled. This fixed the problem of the internet... now to see if I can get the rest of the drivers loaded to the top.

  • Dual monitor boot problem with Windows 7 Professional 64 bit after installation of any graphics program like a game.

I have built this platform with the help of the owner of a store of 4 cumputer teir 2 years ago. We initially put Windows Vista 32 bit on the system to Vista 64 bit unstable atm. For 2 years, the computer worked like a dream. Last week I made a clean wipe of windows vista and windows 7 professional 64-bit installed. The system has two monitors. The primary monitor is a sony bravia with 26 "led and secondary for watching movies is that a 55 '' led Samsung 1080 p 240 Hz. The graphics card is a geforce GTX 295 nividia. It has 12 GB of Ram and the CPU is an i7 965 @3.20.

The problem I have is this. After the installation of any game average to work with windows 7, the screens to reset their resolutions automatically more than a few times as they are confused. Sometimes, I have to return the screen to its correct resolution after installation in full. Most of the games and then run fine. After installing the game or any game designed for win 7 startup of computers is all messed up for the monitors. After starting hand 26 "sets its resolution and then after about a second 30 pause the computer makes the sound (the double) that it is resolutuons to reset monitor again? After that this second reset about 1-2 minutes the computer is good to go, unless it sets the res evil. The problem is the computer has never done that with vista and it is very annoying say the least. It still freezes the installation of some games. The only way to resolve what I found is the restoration of the system. The computer starts normally and screen ground is defined once she has always been. The only problem is when you install another game, the problem is their new. This problem is worse in some games.

The latest nvidia drivers have been installed. There is no conflict in the device with the exception of an old printer Manager. The two comes is set to 60 hertz. I searched all over the internet and there seems to be a problem with windows 7 without solution. I am at a loss. Any other information that you need let me know and I'll post it. Thank you!

    Hi ancientone618,

It sounds almost as if there is a Windows update that is in conflict with your NVIDIA Driver Installer.  I would say to disable automatic updates of Windows to see if it might help:

  • Validation on Windows 7 Professional Build 7601 error

Hi, I keep getting an error message in almost all of the tasks that I am running on my computer. The message is the same for all applications, for example: "Internet Explore met a validation error" follow-up by "process name: iexplorer.exe", "module name: mshtml.dll", "Assert offset: 00000000006CD07B" and he asks me to ignore once, ignore always or not to ignore. • During windows 7 Professional 64-bit error code 0 x 80070017

Hi all! Why when I need to start installing my windows 7 ultimate or proffessional 64-bit using DVD he reached on the expansion of scene files and gives a error code 80070017 0 x and a text saying corrupt file. Earlier, but he did not give this type of error but since I increased my 6 GB RAM it gives this error code during Installation. Can anyone help? Thanks in advance...

If you have recently installed all new RAM modules, remove them and try to install the new. If the installation is successful, you can reinstall the additional RAM.

If you have compatible hardware and your computer still stops responding, disable any unnecessary material. Remove (USB) universal serial bus devices. Remove or disable network cards, sound cards and cards of the series; and then restart the installation.

  • Blue error screen - I have a Lenovo Thinkpad which runs on Windows XP Professional. The error message I get on the blue screen includes:

After the blue screen, a message will appear asking if I want to start Windows normally, the last configeration who worked, safe mode, etc.  Whatever the mode, I have chosen, the system returns to the blue screen and the process starts all over again unless I turn off the computer.

I reset my computer to its factory settings, but the blue screen issue continues.  Is there a way to fix this?

  • Windows cannot copy files required for installation. The files may be damaged or missing. Error code: 0 x 80070241.

I had a lot of trouble trying to install the 64-bit version of windows 7 Home Premium on my 64-bit vista, and my question is multi-part. If it is relevant, it's my 2nd copy of windows 7 I have tried. Initially, I had the problem of not being able to run the installation on two copies with the error "'autorun.dll' could not be found or is damaged. Error code is [0x7E]. "However, I managed to get into with my 2nd copy installation after restarting my computer. Once in Setup, I got another error that stopped the installation that says "windows not could create an installation folder. Error code is 0 x 80070017. "Again, I rebooted my computer and started the installation again, this time following installation was decently through but stopped when I got the error"Windows cannot copy files required for installation. The files may be damaged or missing. Error code is 0 x 80070241. "I then backed up and restarted my computer and then tried to use the option to install custom but then got the error"E:\sources\autorun.dll is not designed to run on windows or it contains an error. Try to install the program using the original media, or contact your system administrator. "coupled with the error"the file 'autorun.dll' could not be loaded or is corrupt. Error code is 0xC1"again once I restarted and tried the custom option but got the error" Windows has no load the required file WinSetup.dll.» The file is possibly corrupted. To install windows, restart the installation. Error code is 0x3E6. "I restarted my computer and tried the custom triple option more and still have the error"Windows cannot copy files required for installation. I understand that my problem is very complex, but it seems to be built around a missing or damaged file. Thanks if you can tell what's wrong or what to do.

Tips for solving common problems when Windows 7 won't install troubleshooting

    1. start Windows Upgrade Advisor to see if there are known issues that might affect the installation and correct them.
    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows/downloads/Upgrade-Advisor

2 disable any security software, including anti-virus programs and firewalls.

    4. disconnect all external devices except the keyboard and mouse before installing.
    5. If your computer/motherboard integrated video use and remove the dedicated video card.
    6. If you have a large amount of RAM (memory), try to reduce the amount of RAM installed. 1 GB if 32-bit installation, 2 GB for 64-bit, then replace RAM if the upgrade was successful.
    7. If you have downloaded Windows 7 and it burned a DVD test burn again at the slowest speed possible. It is also possible the download may have errors, you can try to download it again.

    (A) Insert the Windows 7 DVD and restart the computer.
    (B) start from the Windows 7 DVD.
    (C) select your language, and then click Next.
    (D) click on "repair your computer" then select the operating system to fix it.
    (E) click on the link of the Memory Diagnostics in the system recovery menu.
    (F) the computer will restart and your memory is checked for errors.

    9 turn off startup programs:
(A). Click Start, type MSCONFIG in the search box and press ENTER.
OK the authorization of user account control and password if necessary
If you are using XP: click Start, run, and type: MSCONFIG and click OK.
    (B) on the general tab, click Selective startup.
    (C) just below the selective startup, clear the checkbox "Load Startup items".
    (D) click the Services tab, check "Hide all Microsoft Services", and then click Disable all.
    (E) click OK, and then restart the computer.
    (F) try the upgrade again.

(NOTE: If the upgrade fails and you continue to use your rear security software, then also go back into MSCONFIG and under the general Tower XP/Vista tab, click "Normal startup", and then click OK to exit.)
