To resolve this problem, make sure that all dependent services have been started. To do this, follow these steps:

    • Click Start, run and type Services.msc
    • Double-click the network connections entry
    • Set its Startup type to manual
    • Click Start to start the service
    • Double-click Windows Management Instrumentation

It is quite all right, but you have a virus / malware infestation the or about July 7, 2011. Malware will address management tools such as event viewer and the Task Manager.

You might have been able to resolve the problem by using the system restore, but very probably will have passed too much time for you to have a restore point before the alleged infestation. What you have with a Windows XP CD? I suspect that you need to do a repair installation and for this you need an original CD. If it's a branded computer which includes most laptops, this will be a restore to factory settings after you back up your data files.

I go to C:\Windows\System32\spool\PRINTERS, there is nothing for me to remove it.

Any other advice would be greatly appreciated...

    Hello yan_dao69,

I suggest that you try the methods below to solve the problem.

    Method 1:

I suggest that you run the printer troubleshooter. This will automatically diagnose and fix printing problems:

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/open-the-printer-Troubleshooter

Ideally, this would set the print spooler service issues.

    Method 2:

I suggest that you disable the Antivirus software temporarily and verify if you are able to start the print spooler service. You can check the link that will give you information disable antivirus below:

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-in/Windows7/disable-antivirus-software

Note: Please make sure that you enable the antivirus software after the test to keep your computer protected.

    Method 3:

Check the dependency of the spooler services in the registry.

    a. Click Start, type regedit in the search box and press ENTER.

    b. look for, and then click the following registry key:

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Spooler

    c. right-click on spooler, click Export, save a backup file on your desktop.

NOTE: If an unforeseen problem be encountered after changing the registry, please double-click on the file to restore the backup.

    d. in the details pane, if the DependOnService value shows values of RPCSS and other key, right-click DependOnService and then click on edit.

    e. in the value data box, delete the other keys and then click OK.

    f. exit the registry editor.

Important: This section, method, or task contains steps that tell you how to modify the registry. However, serious problems can occur if you modify the registry incorrectly. Therefore, make sure that you proceed with caution. For added protection, back up the registry before you edit it. Then you can restore the registry if a problem occurs. • Unable to connect to networks wireless on laptop Windows 7 Enterprise. Cannot start the autoconfiguration WLAN service. "Error 1068: the dependency service or group could start."

original title: cannot start service autoconfiguration WLAN and EAP services

I am not able to connect to my wireless network. When tried to connect, it shows just "unable to connect."

I have the Intel WiFiLink 5100 adapter with the latest driver for Windows 7 Enterprise 32-bit installed. The laptop is not a wireless connection manager and I am trying to connect using the Windows wireless connection manager.

I checked in the Services and found that service autoconfiguration WLAN and Extensible Authentication Protocol services are not running.

When I tried to start the WLAN auto configuration service, I get the following error...
Windows could not start the service WLAN autoconfiguration on Local computer.
Error 1068: The dependency service or group could start.

When I tried to start the service of Extensible Authentication Protocol, I get this error...
Windows could not start the service on Local computer Extensible Authentication Protocol.
Error 1053: The service did not demand launch or timely control.

I found that all dependent services for the EAP are running. And all dependent services for autoconfiguration WLAN service are running except the EAP service.

    Hello

    1. do you have security software installed on the computer?

Try the methods provided below and check if the problem persists.

    Method 1:

I suggest that you disable the security software and then try to start the service and check if the problem persists.

    Note:

Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you should not disable your antivirus software. If you need to disable temporarily to install other software, you must reactivate as soon as you are finished. If you are connected to the Internet or a network, while your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.

    Method 2:

You will also need to start long-term services and check if that helps.

To view service dependencies, click the link below.

    http://www.Microsoft.com/resources/documentation/Windows/XP/all/proddocs/en-us/srvdep_view_service_dependencies.mspx?mfr=true

    Method 3:

Check if the computer isn't on selective startup.

How to configure Windows to use a Normal startup state

Configure Windows XP to start normally.

    (a) click Startand then click run.

    (b) type msconfigand click OK.
The System Configuration utility dialog box appears.

    (c) click on the general tab, click Normal Startup - load all device drivers and services, and then click OK.

    (d) when you are prompted, click restart to restart the computer.

    Hi Jkoryzna,

Thank you for choosing the Microsoft Answers forum.

To solve the problem, fix the dependency for the spooler service information.

Click Start, run and type the following text:

CMD /K SC CONFIG SPOOLER DEPEND = RPCSS

Alternatively, to achieve this by using the Registry Editor:

Click Start, run and type Regedit.exe

    Navigate to the following branch

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE-SYSTEM-CurrentControlSet-Services-spooler

In the right pane, double-click the DependOnService value

Delete existing data and then type RPCSS

    Close Regedit.exe.

    Hi Rohit Chettri ,

(I am not good in English)
I am trying no operation troubleshooting you mentioned. I have it set for myself.
I clicked on something related to the denfence in the heart of the action and when I restarted my computer is off almost all services. I couldn't even connect to the internet
I went to the Configuration System (msconfig)-> services-> active tab all services and restart. After that my computer works normally.
In any case thanks a lot Rohit Chettri.
