Windows XP Service Pack 2 for Toshiba SM30-604 problems,

I installed SP2 on my Toshiba SM30-604. But after that, he can't start whitout an electric cable connected, so when I want to start I need to sit near a wall outlet. I already get an update on the site but I can not find it.

Mark

Hello

This doesn't do not feel directly related to Service Pack 2.
You say that you need a cable to be able to start. OK, what if not? , You get an error message, a warning (If Yes, what is the error message or warning said) or does the machine start simply not at all (in this case means that no light, no on-screen text)? To be more specific, and I will try to advice.

  • Windows Vista Service Pack 2 for update (KB948465) systems focus on x 64

    Hi all:

For several weeks, I get a daily reminder to install the update "Windows Vista Service Pack 2 for x 64-based systems (KB948465)", but whenever I try to install it, it ends up by default, which gives 80246007 error code. What happened probably 30 times. It's driving me crazy, and at this point, I would like to know if it is still necessary to have. If this is the case, how can I get to install correctly? If this isn't the case, I can't the notification go away?

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks in advance.

  • Updated my computer to Windows Vista Service pack 2 for x 64 function foires systems

Okay, so I have recently updated this Windows Vista Service pack 2 for x 64-based systems.

After the update and restarting, I connected only to find myself staring at a blank white screen. However, I managed to hit the keys ctrl + alt + delete and go to the Task Manager to launch explorer.exe through the "new task...". ' button.

This brings me to my normal desktop, but none to start startup programs and CPU usage is 100% which makes the performance of my laptop more slow.

Sometimes I try to restart the laptop and it starts normally after the connection, but that happens only about 15% or less of the time.

Is there a way I could resolve this problem and I function normally again?

    BTW,

I don't have the CD of Windows Vista or install, so I can't really replace him.

Thanks in advance for your help.

  • How can I get Windows XP Service Pack 3 for a computer?

When I google Windows XP Service Pack 3 it gives me that several computers on a network, but I only need one for a single computer. Thanks for any response.

Download this file and to ignore warnings on the web page about it being for several computer or network use:

It will install correctly on a single PC.  Also note that the other answering your question is incorrect - answering machine apparently does not realize that the SP3 must be installed before the Windows updates will work, and he gave you the version SP3 which without a doubt, you do not install as that one is for developers or people who need to debug Windows debug/checked.
