windows7 disk copy

I'm able to make a backup copy of my drive in windows 7, how?

ISO?

Thanks for your thoughts

I use Any DVD myself to Blu - ray. I downloaded Virtual Clone Drive Soft Sly (it's free).

Once, I created the ISO files, to a Blu - ray movie on the hard disk that the virtual clone drive allows me to look at it as any other movie with out having made burn the ISO on a blank Blu - ray disc files.

The advantage of this is that I can rent movies in the middle of the week when they are cheap, keep everything on the hard drive and watch them on the weekend when I want to.

The downside to this is that the Blu-rays eat hard drive space. They are big at least 25 GB and can be as large as 50 GB on a dual layer, Avatar I think it was at 47 GB. However after I looked then I can choose to save for a while and just delete them. Of course making movies anywhere from 40 minutes to 1 hour and 20 minutes to save on the hard drive, which isn't bad considering the amount of information that needs to be addressed.

Any DVD also allows me to look outside of region 'B' Blu - ray in the United Kingdom as there are a few who do not release here and there in England.

    No Microsoft.

The outside chance will contact the manufacturer of your computer. I doubt that they will or can do it anymore because they are now selling computers with Windows 7.

The best you can do is ask the manufacturer of your computer for a set of recovery disks. The cost is minimal.
The game will allow to restore your system in case it crashes.

Some might suggest eBay, Amazoon etc... Beware of counterfeits.

  • Printer hard disk copy.

How to copy a document from my printer on my hard drive?

    * Post has been moved by the moderator of the appropriate forum category *.

    Hello

If you ask how you can get the contents of a physical part of the book that is stored as a file on your hard drive you need a scanner. Scanners can be either separate peripheral monofonction, or one of the versatile printer that prints/copies/scans.

Basically, you place the document in the scanner, then select scan (whether via the software or on the device control panel) and follow the instructions. The exact method will depend on the device of scanning that you have, so check the manual. If you do not have a manual, the manufacturer's website are normally instructions.

  • I tried to find if there is such a thing as a hard disk copy program

I tried to find if there is such a thing as a program that copies the reformat your HDD so that if you install all your programs fully functionally only from the copy, he created... I have a few old Player library programs that are no longer available online where I would always reinstall them, and I can just save the files with the likes of justcloud because it does not copy the install also, which means that after that I restored files I won't be able to open or use... Help, please...

Yes, there is.  It's called "imaging".

1 you can do a system image using Windows backup.  Open this utility & look at the left side of the window.  You will see create a system image.  A click on it and run it - choose an external drive to put the image on.

2 then return to Windows Backup & see on the left side of the window.  You'll see, create a system repair disc.  A click on it and run - you'll need a CD or a writable DVD (R or RW).  This gives you the ability to restore the image of the system, even if your PC is unable to initialize.  When you have done the system repair disc, boot from it to test.  Make sure that you go so far to have to make some language / keyboard selections & then get a menu of repair - receive this proves that the ERD is correct.  Then you can cancel the operation and restart normally.  If you don't test it then you run the risk of it reveals to be defective only when you try to use it in an emergency.

Using the image of the system in the future

3 you put the system repair disc in the drive and connect the external drive containing the image of your system.  And then you start / restart your PC.  When you reach the menu repair [that you saw during the test] tell you him that you want to restore from a system image.  Then, he a look & think identifies the external as disc containing an image and then request your confirmation that you want to restore from it.  Executes this routine restores your PC exactly the state drive wherever it was when you made the image of the system.  You would like to have a backup of all your data because you're not likely to want to make a new image whenever you modify a data file [so the system image will always be a little older than your data files].

    Choice

4 there are many backup applications that can make system images.  Acronis TI is just one example, & it is supposed to be much better than the Windows backup.  You will need to consider which app to use for images & which one to use for backups of data file.  But it's a long story & opionions differ on which apps are the best.

  • No Windows7 or other software with new PC disks: why?

    Hello

Just got a new elite of Pavillion with Windows7.

HP email re what follows, but not response.

Was surprised to see that there was absolutely no discs for any software which has been preloaded Envoy with the PC.

Thought it would be at least a 'restoration' for Windows7 disk in case I had to re - install?

No other software disk came with it either.

    Is this normal these days?

What to do if re - installed, W7, nor any of the other programs is necessary in the future?

    Thank you

    Bob

Robert, this is a guide on "create game in Windows 7 recovery disk.  If you do these discs, you will have all of the software that are now installed.  It cannot be installed separately, but the computer can be returned to its original at any time configuration.

  • Your copy of disk image has been changed since the last opened or saved (Mac OS)

I sometimes get a message that "image disk copy has been changed because the file has been modified, opened or saved. The OS 10.6.6 and I use CS5. It happens on any specific file. All my files are big enough. The current that what happens on is a body which is 3.26 G not flattened. I have the ignorance has always ignored the message and saved anyway. I never detected damage or noticeable changes in the files after ignoring the warning, but after looking for Adobe forum and read a thread on what is happening in CS4, I guess I should be more careful and do a save as and change the name of the file. I started this thread because no one reported the issue happening in CS5.

The files have been all given to me by ftp as psd, tiff or raw camera files.  I work on the copies of the originals in no other program but photoshop and open and closed files several times before getting the message about disk being edited copy. All my files are saved on a hard drive internal and backed up to a time capsule device. I am on a network, but I'm the only user of the network. The files are worked and saved on an internal hard drive on the same computer. They are never open on another computer which is usually disabled. I don't use any antivirus software except what is native to the operating system. The only other applications that I am running when this message are safari, mail and sometimes fill.

Why I get this message and what is causing changes (which I can't find) to disk copy?

The message means what it says: something outside of Photoshop changed your file on disk since the time that Photoshop saved the file.

We do not know what might change them - just the operating system returns a different modification to the file date that applied when Photoshop saved the file.

  • Transfer iTunes and external HARD disk media library

To build capacity on my 13-inch MacBook Pro (SSD) I want to transfer my music and files from the iTunes library on an external HARD drive. By following the online instructions I copied the iTunes folder of high level of my MBP on the external HARD drive and have chosen the new library (.itl) on the first reopening of iTunes. Everything seems fine but to verify music file information, it seems that the music files are always read in the MBP files. How do I order the new library to the remote disk copy of music files so that I can remove them safely from MBP. Thank you

Move a library: quick response if you use preferences by default iTunes settings: copy the folder iTunes integer (and to ensure that all of its subfolders and files) intact at the other disk, hold down the option/Alt (shift on Windows) keys at the start of iTunes, and request select a library select iTunes Library.itl file in the copied folder. https://support.Apple.com/HT201596

  • HP Pavilion ho23-056 23, touch: copy full hard on an external hard drive as a return to the top

I am currently running windows 8.1 x 64 bit, and I think the copy of my entire hard drive (consisting of readers of C & D using a total of 929.2 GB of space.  And wanting to get an external Western Digital hard drive with 1.5 TB of space.  I was led to believe that windows 8.1 has a utility called Image Back Up utility (located in the control panel).  I have also led to believe that this can be done completely by using a little bit of whole hard disk copy (programs, files, drivers, applications, utilities, etc.), but I can't well enough information on this operation. And there are still questions, like how can you transfer a copy to an external hard drive on the PC if it should crash completely? (I do have a set of five drive recovery that I did when I bought my PC, but still want an additional source of a backup system.)  I can not find the procedures for copying the copy from the disk external hard on the PC crashed and are best and safest ther programs out there to use instead of windows system Image backup utility?  I would like to add that I am a bit of an intermediate user, using a PC since windows 95. but there are obviously issues that I need to research before trying something that complicated and advanced.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks in advance!

A description of the System Image backup can be found here.  If you want to C and D, I suggest a clone program. Seagate and WD have a wizard disk free program. With the cloning process, you use an external enclosure to the clone.  When disaster strikes, swap you the drives and continue. Personally, I make clones of my primary office every 30 to 45 days.

  • Is there a copy of record, as Power2Go program, on my new laptop computer Pavilion G6-1374EA?

Is there a program to copy of record, as Power2Go, on my new laptop computer Pavilion G6-1374EA (product #ABU A9J86EA)? I searched all files and I don't see an obvious disk copy program. I would like to copy a CD to a blank CD or a DVD to a blank DVD. I should add that I am quite new to computers.

    Hello

Click on the Start Menu, click all programs and make sure that if you have a folder called "CyberLink DVD Suite" - If you do, Power2Go should be part of this set.

If you do not have the application above, download and install the free software ImgBurn.

Guides on copying discs using this application are here.

  • Hello. Is it possible to make a backup of the Pandoras Box Cd rom copy.?

I have the original and the copy is for me.

I made a copy sometimes, back, which I thought was right but now at mid-way through the game it stops working and I have tried the disk copy on my home and work PC so I guess that the error is on the copy.

I really love this game and use the original for more than 12 years so it's to be!

Please can you tell me if it is possible to make a copy that is feasible and, if so, how? I think I used the last Roxio cd Copier attempt but after watching im going online account that maybe the game is protected? and so I need to do a bit more that just a basic "copy CD". ? Any assistance received with gratitude and thanks for reading this.

PS. I tried to buy an original, but finds him not available online to the United Kingdom!

    Thanks again

I don't know if this particular game CD is protected against copying. According to the balance of probabilities, it is. And I don't know which particular method or methods has been or have been used.

    Take a look on

    http://www.SlySoft.com/en/

and see if one of their products, alone or in combination with others, will allow you to make a backup copy of the game.

Note that if the original disk is very readable, the copy cannot correct errors; However, the result may be usable.
