• RoboHelp suddenly no longer recognizes project images

  I am having big problems with the images of the project and am unable to find a workaround. The images are recognized by RoboHelp initailly, then mysteriously become urecognized. I reinserted images, all was well for a while, and then the project suddenly does not yet recognize them. It just happened for the third time.
  
  I read through many posts describing problems with the images, users have, but it did not help my situation:
  -I understand that there is inconsistent in RoboHelp behavior if the images are pasted on topics rather than via the < b > insert > Image < /b > menu item. I'm inserting them by Insert > Image menu.
  -I also read that there may be display problems based on the tool that was used to capture an image. I use SnagIT version 8 for all catches. My issue is not with the display, but of 'some' of the files in the project endangered list.
  -I also read a few posts, which suggests that the images all placed at the root of the project to avoid problems. Is not a viable solution for me - it's a very large project with several hundred images - I could not effectively manage the images if I couldn't organize into folders.
  
  Here's what I'm seeing:
  -After I insert images (using Insert > Image) the image names appear in the topics and are listed in the view project OK.
  -I continue with the elaboration of a general project and periodically generate output and run reports to check the health of the project, including the missing references and unused files. I noticed that some of the images that were previously OK appear in the report of unused file... Then I look in the project tab and see that the unused images are no longer included in the tree.
  -I then open the items and see that the images are still there in the topics, and I can see them WYIWYG and in preview mode.
  -I re - insert and the cycle repeats.
  
  I'm totally stuck and lose without interruption of work.
  
  I would very much appreciate help solve this isue.

  Rick - Thanks for pointing me to the bottom of this track.
  I deleted the files XPJ and CPD, then double click on the HHP file. RoboHelp recreated fresh copies of the CPD and XPJ files, and be it resolved 95% of the questions. There were a couple of HTML files listed on theUnused files report which should not have been, because the subjects were related to the and included in the table of contents. However, I "forced" RoboHelp for re-reference-the to re-import files. The project is in a 'clean' State, I hope. Wish me luck...

• Help! My T61 suddenly no longer recognizes my DVD - RAM drive!

  Today, I tried to recover some pictures from a DVD and then a CD in my DVD RAM T61s (Mat * beep * a UJ - 852 ATA)... and the drive was not recognized by the system.  It was not displayed in the 'my computer' list.  The power drive when I insert a disc, but nothing else happened.

  The device properties box says:

  "This device cannot start. (Code 10)

  "Click 'Search for solutions' to send data about this device to Microsoft and to see if there is a solution available."

  But when I check, the system responses returned the correct driver is already installed... and there's nothing else out there that was a 'solution '.

  What can solve this problem suddenly?

  Thank you!  A variation of this last seems to have worked and restored the DVD-RAM, to the good working condition:

  (1) disable the drive

  (2) uninstall the reader

  (3) remove the drive

  (4) stop

  (5) reboot

  (6) insert drive... system recognized the drive, loaded the drivers and the operation was normal.

  Thanks for the tip. (I had turned off and deleted/inserted before, without success.)  "But until reading your comment, I do not have a start/stop between the two).

• Apple TV 4 suddenly no longer works

  Since last week my Apple TV 4 suddenly no longer works, bought 27 December 2015.

  I already have things:

  1 charge of the remote control

  2 disconnected and reconnected the power cable, hdmi and ethernet (my wifi is unstable when I'm apple tv). After re - all of these cables, the device flashes 7 times and then shortly made a break.

  3. use a different power cable.

  4 searched on the internet on the significance of the 7 blinks, found nothing. Which for me is odd, blink-sequences usually have a meaning.

  5 purchased and attached a USB C cable to my iMac will hopefully restore via iTunes. But he does not appear in iTunes (updated).

  6a tried to put it into DFU mode by connecting the apple tv with the usb cable and pushed the home (tv) button and the button play-pauzé for 6 seconds. I was informed that the unit should Flash and then iTunes should recognize it.

  7 has tried to pair the remote control again, in case there's an accident and repeated all steps.

  8 has obtained information that the cable I use is supposed to be good.

  These steps did nothing, the only thing that happened between the last time that I used it and when I realized it has no function, is that they have replaced my for a "smart" electricity meter But I can't be sure that this caused all this 100%. The appliance was not turned on for the replacement.

  I see no option to manually search for the device connected to my iMac, and no indication that iTunes gets even a hint of a connection.

  It has a 12 month warranty - contact Apple or take it to an Apple store and ask for a replacement/repair.

  You talk as if you have tried all reasonable measures including the verification of the cable USB is correctly (no ony supply).

• Photos no longer recognizes my iPhone

  For some reason, the Photos (version 1.3, running on the MacBook Air with OS 10.11.2) does not recognize my iPhone (iOS 9.2) 5 c and I can't import photos from my iPhone in Photos on my Mac. The Photos app still recognizes and any photos from my iPad (Air 2 running iOS 9.2) very well. and the app allows you to import my iPhone properly. But several weeks ago the Photos app suddenly stopped to recognize when my iPhone was connected. Although the Photos app can not see and import from my iPhone, the app to iTunes (version 12.3.2.35) still recognizes, synchronize and download Sync photos to my iPhone photo albums.

  The connection from my iPhone via iTunes is so perfectly, and the connection between my iPad and the Photos app is good; It just seems to be a relationship crisis any between my iPhone and the Photos app. Does anyone have any ideas what I should try? Thank you.

  Maybe delete preference files will help you:

• HP Envy 120 All in One Printer no longer recognizes MacBook Air

  Since the upgrade to Yosemite, my HP Envy 120 no longer recognizes my Macbook Air and vice versa, through the router, having worked (not perfectly all the time of course but the connection was not a problem). I can connect Macbook to printer via direct HP, but that mean disconnected from the internet, scanning, and then re-login to the internet which is a bit of a faff and seems to move backward.

  I downloaded the latest software of printer driver HP, followed all of the suggestions that I can find on this, such as the removal of the printer on the Macbook under system preferences, but when I try to add it back on, nothing shows. I tried to add the IP address manually, it comes up with an error message. I did the wizard on the printer wireless and who succeeded, so it is connected to the router, but does not detect my computer, which is also connected to the same router.

  The printer is still under warranty - I wanted to take back when I had problems earlier but decided to stick with it a little longer. I'm just trying to understand - is this a problem of HP or is it a problem to Apple - IE I can return the printer under warranty?

  Or does anyone have simple fixes? I'm quite computer literate!

  As you mentioned that you are able to use the printer without any problems using HP wireless live, this means that it is question of HP or Apple, but a network connectivity problem.

  Devices Apple uses Hello to communicate with the printer, which is based on the IP Muticasting, which must be supported by your router.

  If I understand your description and unit work as expected using HP Direct wireless, the router is the cause of this problem that you do not see similar issues while eliminating the oruter of this acquisition... Please also let me know if I misunderstood your intention on the subject.

  Also, have you tried to reboot your router by unplugging its power for 10 to 20 seconds? Once it starts to restart the printer and then Mac and check for the difference.

  Please try and check if that helps. If the problem persists let me know your router brand and model, in his middle or abilities can cause such an and can prevet this type of connectivity.

  Yep, installation of adapter Qualcomm Atheros WiFi update worked!

  It worked immediately, but I wanted to give him a full 24 hours or more to see if the fix stuck.

  This problem seems to be resolved.  Now I can finally return to my much delayed project.

  Yes, as mentioned by dj-paige, you seem to have ended up in a catalog of evil.

  You need to browse Finder / Windows Explorer and navigate to the location of your main catalog and load it from there manually.

  One idea is to search the drivers available for your printer, uninstall and reinstall.

  Second, with the print open dialog box, hold down the Option key. Cancel will be Reset. Just click on it.

  Reset the preferences has been known to clear up the problems. Hold Cmd-Opt-shift and run Photoshop. Accept reboot of the Photoshop settings file and let it finish loading.

  A few ideas. Try them in order, one at a time.
